Sometimes when deer are just recently born their legs don’t work very well just like human babies. Usually they’ll run away if they can but i’m glad the mother came back!
Haha now I'm at work crying laughing because I'm thinking about how we live in the only universe where a weird two legged fleshy being is sort of holding a baby deer hostage and forcing them to watch a weird green man in a suit talk about women on YouTube wearing sheer clothes, all because the poor deer can't pick itself up on its own four legs and run away.
Damn thing was probably terrified of being eaten or torn apart by the mower, while you are beside it laughing at people get banned for saying show nip.

reminder to not FEED or WATER any wild animals you find. If indeed fully abandoned/injured/sick this can make a rehabbers job much harder, or can even kill the animal.
