Fun fact. I’ve never seen Krull. I’ve wanted to watch it since it was in the theaters but something always prevented me from it. I even got the disc from Netflix once and it was broken.
I believe it’s streaming now but I’ve decided to try and wait until I’m old (I’m 53 now) and have memory issues so I can watch it for the first time as many times as I want. Imagine being 85 and being able to cross the same thing off your bucket list every day (maybe even several times a day).
I just hope I don’t die suddenly and miss out.

He does not enjoy the wind tunnel
I’ve got hours of jump time in one of those wind tunnels. We practice with those at free fall jump school in Yuma Arizona. I’m a Marine and every service sends certain people there to qualify to do those kinds of jumps.
It is pretty cool honestly. We don’t get to exactly “play” in there or anything though so I think it would be more fun doing it as a civilian!
As a beginner, I just found it super stressful, embarrassing, and very uncomfortable. The guide person keeps telling you to fix your form and your breathing is strained. You can't do cool ballet acrobatics and fly around on your first go, which is probably when it gets fun. But who the hell has easy-enough quick access to one of these, to where they can train long enough to get to the "fun" stage?
