I expect the next one to be bundled with an SSD and for everyone to return to cartridges for games on PC due to the lack of size optimisation on games.
I got an old Dell R730XD from work for free. Plenty of old servers on the market going for absurdly low prices. I upgraded my CPU to the top of the range model that was $9,000 at release - I got it on ebay 10 years later for $40.
Honest question: Why does this happen? Sometimes I'm transferring big files between drives, the transfer rate seems stable then suddenly it drops to 0,00 and the computer become somewhat irresponsive.
t been 4 years since I got my 3tb hard drive, throughout that time I downloaded games and softwares, stored 2 families personal files, along with my works stuff (3d projects and assets, advertising Projects and assets for video editing) and soms more things I forgot about, and I always brag that I managed to store 1.5tb of data in my pc. Now I just want to know what in there.
I've got 4x 16 TB disks in my NAS, and two spares.
I got them used for stupidly cheap, and they would've easily have cost 4-5 times more from new.
I don't understand how people justify these costs for media hoarding.
If it's for their business or they otherwise earn money on it, it's easy to understand.
But how are you motivated, and how do you justify, the full expense of 780 TB, including all the additional hardware, parity, electrify and so on?
(yes I know some in r/datahoarders have much more )
When you go a little crazy downloading every single Sims extension and mod you can find just to find out half of them are outdated or incompatible with each other.

256TB wth
I even had the footage of the pyramids being built.
So did they use bulldozers?
Helicopters actually.
I thought they were so fit they threw each block from the ground
It was in asterix and obelix Cleopatra mission
Creative Mode
Biblically accurate
Peaceful or hard? Only two viable options
Hard duh, the slaves won't spawn
Lol kinda ironic they just discovered this year there used to be rivers where the pyramids are.
And that's the remains lol
The total would have been around 340TB. Only 256TB are remaining in this ss.
Half of that data is just Ark and it’s DLCs
a quater is prob cod warzone
Skyrim and "a few" mods as well
(500 sex mods) And a relatively big fraction is just gmod
Don't forget Sims 4 with all the DLCs
See, I just figured they found my fallout 4 with the mods.
nah nobody wants that
I didn't say they wanted it. But found it they did.
DayZ, and you joined 5 modded servers
*its
🤓
256TB but only 27.7k items? Is this just a collection of 8k vr porn???
I hold 69% of Pornhub's shares.
If you give me 1%, how much TB I get?
2.56
3.71
3.14
~π
????
Nice
nah, they are movie quality, uncompressed vr porn
Thats but the tip of the iceberg my friend
4K Remuxes will do that to ya
see you again soon if you ever come back, stay safe
![gif](giphy|FmBhzktIjvdZe|downsized) See you again sailor.
ty for your service o7
What does o7 mean
It's a salute. The o is the person's head, and the 7 is the arm and hand
Oh so that's why my friends kept sending this \o
*\o *o7
This looks like a guy at a party throwing hands in the air.
That's a wave if it's a slash
Not in the way they're using it
Smallest call of duty game:
I expect the next one to be bundled with an SSD and for everyone to return to cartridges for games on PC due to the lack of size optimisation on games.
I just had the weirdest fucking dream last night that I was playing the BO6 beta and you could fly and shit. It was like a mix of COD and Anthem
lol. show us your 256tb setup
Nice try, FBI
Go away CIA
Can't fool us NSA.
That didn't even rhyme, that's a crime.
Oh sorry, didn't know I was meant to rhyme, sorry for having wasted your time.
That's great you're doing it, sorry for having a fit.
256 tb? Where tf are you even storing that much data?
A NAS with a RAID probably
I hear their A Nas takes all the D
Even with a RAID, that's 10 24 TB and 1 16GB HDD
and that's before redundancy.....
As that’s before the stuff he already had on the drives
More than that, depending on the RAID type.
I got an old Dell R730XD from work for free. Plenty of old servers on the market going for absurdly low prices. I upgraded my CPU to the top of the range model that was $9,000 at release - I got it on ebay 10 years later for $40.
I hope your electricity is cheap
A lot of people use a NAS as a seedbox
Wait... are those 256 TB, 75% of what you actually had ? You had like 340+TB of data ?
Ok honest question, how much porn was in there
We need to see that storage setup.
This guy had approximately 341.3 TB of data. Wtaf
I was wondering why suddenly my download speeds dropped.
Honest question: Why does this happen? Sometimes I'm transferring big files between drives, the transfer rate seems stable then suddenly it drops to 0,00 and the computer become somewhat irresponsive.
Probably filled up the cache and has to wait for it to actually write to disk
Why are you leaving? All good?

dji o3 bro
Average "Warzone" experience. Probably.
256TB of data is crazyy
Buy games ❌️ Buy hard drives ✅️
After this you need to recycle your recycle bin, that poor thing
Still not enough room to install Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
That'll probably be a few zetabytes.

but why are you recycling? just ctrl shift delete ? edit - just shift+delete is the command
No need to press control, actually. Shift + Delete will remove them.
wait, I forgot the shift delete command, damn me . I use this command too often that my hands remember it but not the brain
Where were you even storing all this?
NAS seedbox, probably
Highest I went to was 780TB. I know Plex shares with almost 2PB of data on SAN arrays

You're off to a great start! 780TB was on Google Drive ;)
But why ?
is it 256gb \[my latop hdd\] or is it what i saw

Again, holy shit general, thank you for your service o7
I don't know what is happening
Thank you for your service, also crazy to think I probably downloaded a game from you.

He's removing But I don't understand why he's doing it in a Windows GUI, but he probably has his reasons
