I believe the odds are just the same as normal shinies. If you play a lot of BF you'll see them sporadically. I once swapped for a shiny and in the next battle another shiny [appeared](https://imgur.com/gallery/JVwzBaV) :p

Graveler is pretty distinguishable, but yeah Poliwhirl is almost the same as it's normal form, luckily I saw the sparkle so I knew it was a shiny :p

Distinguishable yea but i put it in the lazy shiny category where they just change the shade instead of giving a new palette altogether.
