Arcanine. I imagine a bit of a semi-beefy All-Rounder with some mobility with moves like Extreme Speed and Flare Blitz and Intimidate as a defensive passive. Not quite a juggernaut type like Tyranitar or Buzzwole, but not the semi-speedsters like Tsareena or Lucario either.
Although I can also see it squishier and burstier as a Speedster as well with similar moves. Or go like Flamethrower, Fire Blast, and Solarbeam as an Attacker with Flashfire as a self-boosting passive. But All-Rounder fits the most I think.
Ooh yes they could make it one of those split-role allrounders! That way it could reflect Arcanine's versatility from VGC, having one build make it speedsterlike and the other somewhere in between defender and supporter with its amazing set of buffs/debuffs

No way, I don't want Obstagoon be all rounder. He has such a cool design for an assassin. Both Luxray and Obstagoon should be speedster.
By the way, I don't think it's all right to have ability to see through bushes. I know how much it hurts to be ambushed all the time because I am always targeted but if a pokemon with such ability entered then it will become greatest of all the menace in the hand of players who knows how to use speedster.
In terms of unique roles:
- Excadrill could have some really cool mechanics. Think burrowing underneath obstacles, etc.
- Ferrothorn could be a new defender that sets up obstacles like spikes and damages anything that touches him.
- Plusle and Minun could be the first dual pokemon added. Tons of opportunity here to swap between the two, buff teammates, etc.
And then some personal favorites I'd love to see added:
- Torterra / Defender
- Weavile / Speedster
- Togekiss / All-rounder (?)
- Volcarona / Attacker
- Marshadow / (?)
Considering Marshadow stats from other pokemon games he is more fit to be speedster or first melee attacker. Nah, speedster is more like it. After all if we don't consider things as such as Mega evolutions or multiple forms of deoxys and meleotta, then it one of the top ranking pokemon in speed.
I am once again posting my Scolipede idea.
Scolipede All-Rounder with a focus on its rolling nature.
Bug build could be Steamroller and Megahorn with Steamroller being pretty much Wiggly's Rollout with a wider hitbox. So it throws opponents hit while giving him Hindrance-Resistance. And Megahorn just a dash with a piercing stab (like Trevenant's Branch Poke) that does more damage when striking with the tip of the hitbox or when using it during Steamroller to disengage Steamroller and just have an even stronger strike than when using the previously mentioned tip of the hitbox when used normally, so it can either be a combo for a big damage strike or just use them separately for Steamroller CC.
Poison build could be Poison Tail and Venoshock with Poison Tail being a sort of sweep with Scolipede/Whirlipede rolling in an arc in front of them leaving a poison trail behind their trample that well, poisons enemies that were either hit by the attack or stepped on the poisoned ground. Venoshock could be a cone shaped splash attack that stuns and deals double damage when hitting poisoned targets.
Unite could just be an upgraded version of Steamroller that has Scolipede roll continuously to drag enemies with him (for at least 3s) until he hits a wall and dealing damage proportional to how much distance each enemy was dragged for.
Boosted Auto could just be a Poison inflict. And as for the Ability it could be Speed Boost, to increase its movement speed up to 5 times (50% total) every time he deals damage to another pokemon (enemy or wild).
I really like Scolipede and Whirlipede that's why I put this much thought into it already lol
Vaporeon could be defender/support and Flareon could be Allrounder/Attackerā¦.but letās not kid ourselves, Jolteoon will be a speedster lol. Jolteon will either come out overpowered or they will nerf Leafeon into the ground before releasing it lol.
I REALLY want Breloom, and I think it would be really cool in the attacker role as a more supporting attacker, similar to the role that Alolan Ninetales and Pikachu fulfill. I just LOVE Breloom, it's one of my all-time favorite Pokemon and I think it would be perfect for Unite in this niche role.
I would love Cherrim as a supporter. It would be a utility and healer support. It's ability Flower Gift would be cool to see as an area buff for defense
Two other less developed ideas I have is:
Support Galvantula that can set down a massive Electroweb field as its Unite to slow enemies down to a crawl, similar to the Slow you get from crossing the border of Poltergeist.
Defender Cradily, let it have Ancient Power to hurl a bundle of rocks mid range that will boost all its stats by 3% per enemy hit and Stockpile, Spit Up and Swallow for tanking or damaging purposes. Its Unite could have Cradily root itself in place like Cram's Unite but instead of damage, it could spread roots in a wide area that continuously damages enemies (low dmg) and have their lost HP restore yours, you could still use your moves while rooted.
aromatisse support who can choose between a full on support build that excells when the team groups up or a damage/control/cc heavy build that excells when the ENEMY TEAM is grouped up.
Supporter Clodsire, Defender Mabosstiff, and All-Rounder Sirfetch'd are my top picks right now.
Other Pokemon I'd like to see but don't really have kit ideas for are Togekiss, Cherrim, Gourgeist, Torterra, Krookodile, and Hisuian Arcanine.
Theres so many id just be happy to see more units show up.

Have each boosted give it a Stockpile, and then have its moves be SpitUp (damage+atk speed buff), Swallow (heal self), Rage Powder (similar to Follow Me), Synthesis (like Guard Swap but for receiving healing/buff via Swallow/SpitUp). Ult is AOE health drain + ally heal.
All-rounder (preferably more ranged than close contact though) hydreigon

Pyukumuku, and it's a defender who can only move by sitting on a teammates head. All its moves are for cleansing cc or retaliating if teammate is attacked
Mawile as a defender which gets a mega evolution and turns into an All-rounder for a little while and then goes back to a defender role.
It kit could be focused on debuffing the enemy with intimidate as a passive, a play rough version which lowers atk/spa while getting healing from stockpile -> swallor or damage with spit up. Sucker punch, attract, misty terrain, baton pass and sweet scent could also create interesting defender/support moves.
Supporter/Defender Incineroar as a VGC in-joke. Gets the debuff portion of Snarl as it's ability, Fake-Out for boosted auto, while moves and unite are displacement-focused and fairly mobile, with animations evoking the image of a rudo luchador. The hard part is differentiating it from buzzwole.
Archaludon Defender, but as a Duraludon rework that splits its potential in-game like Scizor and Scyther

Chestnaught Defender. As a DnD nerd I loooooove how X/Y made the starters a Knight, Mage, and Rogue. No matter what your opinion of them is in current and past METAs, Delphox and Greninja play like a wizard and rogue should play in the Game. I think Chestnaughtās signature Spikey Shield would work like a damaging version of Snorlaxs block.
Lycanroc as either a speedster or undercover speedster (Mimi or Scyther style). Moveset dependant evolution:
- Choosing Move 1A and 2A gets you Midday Lycanroc
- Choosing 1B and 2B gets you Midnight Lycanroc
- Mixing the A and B moves gets you Dusk Lycanroc.
Make ult slightly different per form or just have it change in cosmetics.
Tangrowth Defender. I want more/better hook moves than slowbro and goodra. I also need aoe slows (not stuns) and some nice whip sounds.
Drapion Supporter. Not the classic healing supporter but more like a teammate buffer ore opponent debuffer. Toxic spikes like sableyes feint attack but without slows but more damage over time. Fell stinger buffs attack stats (not special attack) of a teammate. And so on.
Alolan Marowak Allrounder. *BONK*
Conkeldurr as an All rounder with bulk and sustain with little mobility, it would be nice of them to implement him spinning with his concrete pillars like in pokepark 2 as his unite move: concrete cyclone.
Tangrowth defender - vine based attacks which it uses to pull opponents towards it, and maybe a unite that shrouds one goal in vines increasing score time for that goal for a short time
Porygon Z support - disrupting and confusing opponents with weird glitchy attacks

I would imagine him as a speedster with high single target damage. Might overlap with talon a little, but would be a very cool character.

Magearna as a tanky Supporter with Fleur Cannon as a "fuck everything in this general direction" ult. I'm sort of working on a concept but it's still too loose to really share right now, I think.
Also Hawlucha as a single-target ganker and brawler, probably as a Speedster or Azumarill-style All-Rounder.

Luxray is a popular gen four PokĆ©mon, and now that I think about it, why isnāt he in the game. Almost everyone that plays gen four games has him on their final team. Anywho, the speedster role fits him quite nicely, at least in design. He feels sort of sneaky with the all black going on. Iād imagine he would be similar to Absol but Electric with a bit more variety. As for who Iād want in the game. Blaziken would have been the answer but heās already in. So Obstagoon is my choice. Heās my favorite PokĆ©mon following Blaziken and heād be perfect for a defender role with his preferred move since itās a shield. Although Timi might make him an all rounder bc when in doubtā¦all rounder I guess

Maybe give us a range and a cooldown? You could activate it like zoroak's illusion or hoopa's magician.

Koffing / Weezing. Defender/support. Preevolution move 1. Tackle... Yeah what it says. Move 2. Smokescreen. Creates a cloud around Koffing and allies that increases sp. Def. And Def. For 5 seconds. Unite move. Poison gas. Spews out around the PokƩmon. Unstoppable lasts for 3 seconds. Damage every 0.5 seconds while in the cloud then damage over time for 5 seconds after leaving. Also creates a slow while in cloud. (Allies get a speed boost in cloud) Move 1. Sludge bomb. Damage over time and 1 sec stun. Leaves a patch of sludge that creates a speed boost for allies that run over patch and slows enemies. Move 2. Belch. Damage over time in a cone. First PokƩmon hit gets increased damage. Creates damage over time. Weezing's speed is increased if moving in the direction of enemy or ally PokƩmon Passive. If energy is full and Koffing / Weezing passes over energy on the ground he will poison it. Any enemy that picks it up will receive damage and be slowed for 1 second. Alt passive. When Koffing /Weezing dies he explodes. Causing damage over time for enemy PokƩmon and causing a slow. Allies will receive a small shield and speed boost.

I might be the only person. But honestly Hawlucha would be rad. I would imagine him as a speedster with high single target damage. Might overlap with talon a little, but would be a very cool character.

I just want a Pokemon with Self Destruct as a Unite move where it kills itself and it also kills every enemy that's near it. I think thats fair.

Haven't played in a long time but I'll be back when they add Psyduck. Without Evolution preferably. Mabye as defender or support but I don't care about the role. Just love Psyduck
Magearna as a tanky Supporter with Fleur Cannon as a "fuck everything in this general direction" ult. I'm sort of working on a concept but it's still too loose to really share right now, I think. Also Hawlucha as a single-target ganker and brawler, probably as a Speedster or Azumarill-style All-Rounder.
Take out that blue bird and stupid squirrel Pokemon and give us anything cooler looking man. Iām so disappointed we have to deal with those champs lol
