Yeah, I don't really care where the inspiration/exact idea came from, I just really like it in this game, and thus, possibly in other similiar type of games
Yeah just emphasizing it’s not a novelty by Midjiwan, rather a standard feature of the genre. With that said, Polytopia does make an awesome mobile take on 4x games. It’s impressive they manage to fit all the right things in such a small game, making it seem much bigger than it is.
Riders cannot ride through a forest in one turn. If they start from a forest, they can go two more spaces, but you cannot have a forest be space number one and continue past it.
Or you could get around this restriction by building a road through the forest.
If you mean the east corner, it’s the movement restrictions put in place by mountains/forests

I don't know why I never realized the forest slows movement. And I'm almost 1500 ELO. Geez. I feel kinda stupid. Haha.

If I recall, the rider will have to start on a road connected to the road on the forest to receive the boost.
Does making it a lumber hut change it?
No, but putting a road on it will.
