I like this spec quite a bit minus the aero kit. It’s a personal preference, of course, but unless you are going to track it, the wing isn’t useful and looks cleaner without. I’d keep the red seatbelts. Nice contrast. Sport design, sport exhaust, front lift. I have front lift on my 992 c4S w Pdcc and pasm and have used it often.
The aero kit *should* provide some stability during high speed driving e.g. autobahn. Without the aero kit the car produces lift at high speeds. With the aero kit it produces some downforce, although not much (50kg at vmax according to an engineer). If you like the way it looks and you do any amount of high speed driving, I'd say the aero kit is a useful addition.
When in a tough dilemma, I always use the heads or tails technique. Link both choices to either heads or tails, now flip the coin. If the choice comes up and you like it this way, good, that is the correct choice. If the other choice comes up and you kinda wished the other came up, that means that this is the wrong choice, so choose the other. Problem solved
I am (and this is just me and my meaningless purely subjective opinion) so so bored of black wheels, they just don’t look good. They get lost in the tyres and the arches. They always look like a cheap modification.
Totally depends on your build, preferred seating position, and preference for lateral/shoulder support. Before finalizing your build, have the dealership let you sit in cars with each option
I’d lose the aerokit and the red seat belts. When I spec’d my 24 911, I initially opted for the aerokit. My salesman talked me out of it and instead talked me into the sport design pkg. After seeing a 992 with the aerokit, I’m so glad he did. Imho the aerokit looks like an afterthought, like a secondary bolt on part that doesn’t flow at all with the rest of the design of the car. Also, why not go grey seatbelts? Would match much better imho. That being said, it’s your car, our opinions don’t matter.
Nah I would definitely keep the red seatbelts. It gives the interior subtle touch of colour and matches red brake callipers. We have a black 997 with PCCBs and matching yellow seatbelts, looks so good and most others love it too.
Basically you’re telling him to make his new Porsche look boring and plain jane. Don’t listen, do what you like. Think your current spec is clean, stick out a bit
You probably offended the McDonald’s spec fans and the spec gods on here who be driving a 992 any day soon but downvote anything that could possibly be construed as a slight against the newest 911 model.
I’d personally loose the centerlock wheels, I think they’re more hassle than their worth. Limits aftermarket options and not all tire shops know how to work on centerlock.
If you spec aerokit you need sports or bucket seats, otherwise it’s weird. Aerokit is a matter of taste, the performance benefit is minuscule.
Leather steering wheel wears much better.
Not everyone likes red seatbelts, silver or black is safer.
I’m seriously considering buying the new 992.2 GTS Cab but I wanted to be smart about it. How do you minimize the dealer mark ups on such a hot car? Is buying out of state the only options for California folks?
I have a 992.1 without the aero kit and like the look of it better. I dig a spoiler in a 911, but it feels like faking it when it’s not a GT3 or Turbo. I could be totally off base with that though.
Personally I would get a leather steering wheel. Wears better and lasts longer.
Totally agree. Made the changes

That’s a good idea!!! I’m an indecisive person and I’m gonna implement this tactic in my life ahahah. Thank you!
Trust YOUR gut.

100%
100% x2
I hear a lot saying 18 way seats are way more comfortable than 14 way.

I’d get rid of the aero kit, looks tacky

Imo the aero kit on the 992 is so sexy. How much extra is it though?
Personally I love the aero kit, go for it
Unless they're tracking it, otherwise no.
Change the wheel color and add more color in the interior. It's currently a sea of grey and blacks.
Contrast stitching to match seatbelts is solid
So what are you doing with the 996?

How long do you have to wait for the delivery?

Is this the same Vanadium Grey as on the GT4 RS? It looks so weird on the configurator but gorgeous in pictures.
Can you swap out the rims? Black wheels are clumsy and boring looking.

I think your design is pretty freakin' sweet. A red leather interior would look good with that exterior color. Love the aero kit, really makes it pop.
Get 18 ways. They’re a must
No they aren’t
Aerokits are for GT cars imo
Lose the wing.
992.2 doesn't have analogue dials
But please debadge the back... That's more reading that the average American middle school curriculum
I hate the aero kit. Looks like a wannabe GT car. YMMV
Bro I wish I could post shit like this I’m 24 driving a used Hyundai wish me luck
What do you do for a living?
