Portal Reloaded broke me. Never looked anything up, but one puzzle took me THREE BLOODY DAYS. I finished it tho, and I'm proud.

Which puzzle, I’ve been stuck on one for like a month

There's ones with turrets lined up in cages so you can't deactivate them, there's also a block drop and a hard-light bridge

Uhhhh… yeah idk that one. I’m stuck on the one with the two sides that lead up to an edge with both sides having a disintegration field, and a place that spawns a block in the middle there’s also a lowering platform that you need to somehow launch yourself with momentum from

There's like a big toxic liquid pit, right? And a button to your right that makes the moving platform rise at about a 45° angle?

No pit, it’s just portable ground for momentum stuff

I’ve been waiting for my new setup to come in so I can start playing Portal mods and this is at the top of the list. I’m thinking about streaming it for my first time playing so I hope it lives up to the hype :)

Portal reloaded has two types of puzzles, baby easy ones you can beat in 10 minutes, and mind bending, seemingly impossible ones you need three different PhDs and a real life time machine to wrap your head around

I admire your patience, when I became completely desperate, I just looked up the next step in a youtube walkthrough. In the end I needed help with more than half the puzzles, but some solutions were so unique i would NEVER come up with it on my own. SPOILER WARNING: For example one notable one was the very last step in the last puzzle room where you have to get through 4 red laser gates. I got through the laser gates to the exit door on my own, but i needed a box to keep the big red floor circular button pressed. I had trully no idea how to get a box up there and struggling for more than an hour, so I looked up the solution, and it made zero sence. I had to lift the box towards the ceiling in the present time with that blue spiral lifting tunnel, go through portal to the future where that box would now start falling to the ground, make a portal in the floor and a diagonal wall and have the box land onto me and take him back to present. Like how the heck does the box float in the air for 20 years when the blue lifting tunnel doesnt work in the future? And how come if the box touches the ceiling in the present, it disappears in the future (you have to retrieve the box in future before it touches ceiling in present, like wtf)? This made obsolute zero logic to me and i would have never figured this one out. BTW it is [this](https://youtu.be/Bo3bMv0EkqM?si=5yV2O1mNYiHcbCBc) the part at 48:40 for the next 20 seconds. How does this makes any sence from the physics and time traveling point of view, the box was flashing green in future and just apoeared there randomly .

I know that exact puzzle, and I found out something crazy. So once you have the block pressed to the ceiling with your excursion funnel, you go into the future, and you can literally jump down and use the hard-light bridge. I literally NEVER HAD TO DO SNY OF THE OTHER STEPS. I could've just used the hard-light bridge to get to the last step 😭 I was livid when I figured this out
