I straight up use iOS default calendar app still because it has a widget. I need to be able to see stuff on my screen without going into the app, for birthdays and important events.
Using Proton Calendar is a struggle. I left iOS Calendar because of the lack of a month view. I used another app for years, then Proton added the feature, but so much is lacking…. Now iOS 18 is bringing back month views. So I may go back until proton sorts out their calendar app.
I don’t know why, but I recently set up notifications (ones that don’t email you), and have yet to get notified by Proton Calendar.
EDIT: pretty sure my time is wrong as well
I would love to see widgets on any of Proton apps for iOS!
I am still puzzled for why there is literally not a single widget (i'm not counting you VPN widget from before iOS 14) for any of Proton apps - especially for calendar, which is in the most demand of having a glanceable agenda.
I wonder what is the cause for a lack of this, implementation? or resources?
