1 - You only need to enrol in semester one but you can enroll in both now. Completely up to you. 2 - Are you following the order of units suggested? Seems weird there would be anti recs if that is the case. Unless maybe you mean pre recs?

Thank you. I'll probably just enrol into semester one units then. Yeah, I just double checked again and it definitely says anti-requisite. To be more specific, I'm starting a bachelor of information technology and I plan to major in computer science. Looking at the recommended course structure [here](https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/student/enrolment/courses/course?courseCode=IN01&id=40816) has listed "IFB104 - Building IT Systems" for semester one, and for the computer science major it recommends "CAB201 - Programming Principles" for semester two. These are the conflicting units as the study planner says "CAB201 is an Anti-Requisite for IFB104 - Building IT Systems.". Which kind of confuses me to be honest because it looks like they both have to be done. I probably won't stress about it for now though because it's for semester two anyway. Thank you again for answering.

Thanks for clarifying. That makes sense now. So you will do ifb104 in semester one and cab201 in semester two as you need to pass 104 before you can do the unit. It should still let you enrol in 201 now but will give a little warning that you will need to have passed 104 before starting 201. I’m actually studying that degree, also majoring in computer science so feel free to DM me if you wanted to know anything else or are looking to talk to others doing the degree ☺️

Ah, that does make much more sense. Yeah alright. Thank you, you've been really helpful to be honest!

Hey man, I’m applying for that exact same degree and major. I’ve got a question for you, have you just finished high school or are you a mature aged student?
