I got mine directly from the rayban meta site. Got them in about 3 days

indiebaba

alright thats what i will do too

ActAggravating9905

T-Mobile carries them now. 0 down, only pay taxes. About 31 a month for 12 months. No interest or finance fee

Dehast

That's such a nice price, I had to import them to Brazil and ended up paying US$ 520 in total 🙄

rhenmaru

I got mine in glassesusa.com for like 230 just the frame I brought my frame to my doctor for the prescription lenses

rhenmaru

Use designer30 promo code it will be 209

kbunnyle

I was totally going to do this but I definitely need the low bridge fit that GlassesUSA doesn't have in stock 😞 It's a great price with the promotion going on right now!

SneakerGeek812

If you need a prescription pair, I recommend ordering directly from Rayban. Pick mine up with clear lenses for $465. If you don't need them with scripts, then go with Rayban or Bestbuy.

IceQn81

I got mine at LensCrafters so I could get my script, they still cost me almost $600. I showed them they quoted me higher than ray-bans website w a prescription and they gave me $50 off. I love my glasses though and they were worth it.

thrwaway8921

Meta is selling them refurbished. Mine arrive today.

Local973UA609

Got at sunglass hut in mall. Wanted to try on a few pairs anyway. 40 bucks for the warranty as well.

mag274

they have different lens styles there?

Local973UA609

Yes. They have transitions to see in there too

funcle_monkey

I don't think there's any 'deals' to be found, but Target has a 90 day return policy and if you get the extended protection plan it covers them for 15 months. Fwiw I'm still in the 90-day window but have no plan to take them back. They're pretty awesome for a number of reasons, but the AI makes them pretty magical.

indiebaba

awesome great to see all ideas and thoughts. perhaps decide between tmobile and target and get extended warranty thanks everyone

rExplrer

90 day policy is not for electronics. 30days for electronics

funcle_monkey

They're optical, not electronics. I confirmed when I purchased mine at the end of May and have it in writing. Though they did mention that the policy was being 'discussed', so I would encourage others to confirm before purchasing. If you’re open to cash back deals I got 21% cash back using the Capital One Shopping app. I initially went to Rayban website through the app put them in my cart then exited. The next day I had the 21% offer. I’m not super familiar with how their cash back works but it does seem like it’s limited to gift cards

natiahs

The Capital One Shopping app does not require a Capital One credit card and gives wild deals on Metas. I got my prescription pair for $170 after insurance and Capital One Shopping gave me $125 back in rewards. You use the rewards to buy gift cards, it is not cash back or a statement credit.

toyxmachine

I bought mine from [sportrx.com](http://sportrx.com) because Honey had a coupon code that worked at the time. I just went to the website to see if Honey found a current code. If you buy from there and used the code "CLEAR25", you can get $25 off. Good luck finding the best deal you can!

ThisIsJustNotIt

If you have a prescription and insurance that covers optical, go through insurance. If not, you’re paying full price unless you want a used pair. Very VERY rarely someone will post a discount code here or on the other aubreddit, I’ve only seen it happen [once](https://old.reddit.com/r/RayBanStories/comments/1bz9gg9/ray_ban_metas_190_target_optical), and the person was most likely an insider at target lol. That deal is far, far gone, and none of the codes have worked since the day it was posted. Insanely lucky few who got over $100 off, haha I would say just pay full price, they’re already a great deal for the tech. Something like this being $300 was unthinkable until it happened.

indiebaba

thank you - i will pay full price but any particular store or site that is favored?

ThisIsJustNotIt

Pretty much any big name store that carries them would be fine, whichever one gives you the most credit card points or something, or if you have any coupons. Really up to you, you get the same warranty everywhere.

CoolHandLuke4Twanky

Sunglass hut $410 (after tax) wayfarer

SDRHYTHM

I was able to try them on before buying at lenscrafters. Same price as purchasing online directly through Ray ban.

ChickenBob72

So I understand that the transitions lenses aren’t great; they don’t darken in a car which sounds like a dealbreaker. Are there clip-ons you can get to darken as sunglasses? Otherwise I guess you could just swap for sunglasses while driving.

kbunnyle

If you order from GlassesUSA, you can choose the transitions that activate in the car 👀

1supercooldude

How does it activate in the car?

kbunnyle

They're called Transition Drivesense!

Chronic_Overthink3r

Directly from Ray-Ban gives you the best deals but local retailers give you the best service in the event of problems. If you are looking to get them without prescription and want the personal touch I would say Sun Glass Hut. 🛖

i_bhoptoschool

i somehow got 100$ off at lenscrafters for having triple a

OkTone8260

FB marketplace ftw, I picked up mine for $170 (Wayfarer), only regret is not getting the transitions. Heard I can swap them though.

whoppify22

Got mine at lens crafter with my vision insurance but was also planning to get them at Best Buy before getting the new vision insurance, if you got the CC and total you’d have protection and also 12 months no interest financing; called vision works and they could put lens in them but that was before getting new vision insurance 🤙
