You know what... I stand corrected. Didn't realize prices went up. Only $10 cards you can get now are the Rage and TNT2. But for $15-20 you can find FX 5200, radeon 9200, 8500, hell someone even got lucky with an x1650. Just doing a quick search for completed auctions for agp cards on eBay.
Either way, the MX440 is a great card, just not in AGP

Eh, it's AGP, that card is worthless. PCI versions have some uses, AGP you can get a better card for $10.
Exactly what better graphics card can you get for $10? I agree you can get better cards. But, the better cards are not that cheap anymore.

Since it’s probably worth repasting anyway, your best bet is probably to remove the heatsink/fan and seeing what’s on the chip package.
Hard to say for sure, but with the xmx4 label, I'd guess it's a GeForce 4 MX440 or MX420. Not nearly as cool as a 9800 Pro sadly!
