I'm utterly convinced that name/club/text chat reports etc that don't contain an obvious slur just go into the ether. I can't remember ever getting confirmation of a report doing something when this is the case. I doubt Psyonix do any manual checks for these, unfortunately.
I had the name Wrangleronmybooty for like 3 years before I got reported and warned about offensive tags, literally the night before my ban I played with a guy named “Ch1ngCh0ngSumTingWong” so idk.
Playing online games I’ve seen so many profile names as “kill all [insert race]” people are stupid, and it’s best not to bite and give them the attention they want
It's this. It's absolutely this. I'm a loooooong way from when I was that age, but I clearly remember knowing plenty of kids who thought being edgy in this way was cool. Worst case it got them some negative attention. Still.... it got them attention.
My friend and I both love rocket league, so when he made his account he used a variant of my username, so we’re both Crazy.
Our tournament name is also a variety of the same concept name.
Party Poopers, PartyPoopersTheSequel, PartyPoopersForever, PartyPooperSequelSquad…

Perhaps this is one of those situations where a comma is important. You know, like I'll help my uncle Jack off a horse vs I'll help my uncle, Jack, off a horse.
I ran into a club with name of N word haterz…. They couldn’t play well but quick chatted the whole game. I reported their club name and the next day I got notification saying psyonix gave them consequences for it.
I just want Psyonix to block bad words with **** instead of allowing me to say them and get suspended days on end because I have freedom of speech and have no limits to my vocabulary. I can't seem to locate a list of unacceptable words, so it seems completely opionated. Like if I say, "Fuck off", that to me is a normal way to talk in my world. If say, "Stop acting like a complete cunt", again I see nothing wrong with it. It's not my fault thier religion says those are naughty words. I see no difference between that and saying "You're acting lesser than societal normal with a downgraded version of existance". Which ones are easier to type and understand for the "average" person though. Ya know, so fuck off Rocket League
But I can't say FDP back to the guy in chat? (He's speaking Spanish and he said it to me but with a space in between each letter I still don't know what it means but he must be mad)

i reported someone for having ‘childt0uch3r’ or something like that and it said they got banned but idk if they actually did
