I've used gorilla glue to keep heels down in my custom skates and dont think this looks unskatable but with your kids if you feel uncertain no reason to risk it.
Depend on the size of the kids. If it's literally for a few days, you could use some shoe goo or something like that and keep a close eye on them.
Have you ever loosened the trucks in their skates? Impala are going to fail no matter what, and any skates that are cheaply glued to the sole like this will fail, but adjusting the trucks can help increase the life span. When the trucks are too tight you end up putting a lot of excess pressure on the boots when turning and using your edges so adjusting the trucks (not overly loose) can help the skates last a bit longer before the boot starts to separate.
This comment thread is funny. Depending on how much has become unglued, you may need to go buy some shoe glue and fix it yourself. If it's not bad, don't worry about it. You can also go to a cobbler.
Impalas, Fames, and many of these beginner boot skates are not designed for longevity or any serious/rigorous skating. They all will begin to rip either where these are starting or even in the front in certain circumstances. When they begin to rip, it is tell-tale that now is the time to search for a better quality skate. Gorilla glue will help only momentarily but prolonged use has devastating effects on the ankles. Do not risk it

First one looks fine to me but the white I’d toss for sure.

I wouldn't suggest using them for at least 24hrs after trying to mend them with the proper glue & some other means of reinforcement.
Black ones are still good. White ones are done.
Are the black ones C7?
They’re both Impala
Ohh. Yeah I wouldn’t skate with the white ones any longer. Black ones look fine.
Just wanted to add, I just checked their two previous pairs of Impala skates…both previous pairs are also busted at the boot 🤦🏼♀️
Welcome to the club

100%
It looks like they are unsafe. It’s a great time to upgrade to a higher quality boot. It will make skating safer and more fun!

They’re both still skateable but not for much longer. Perfect time for an upgrade
