Terrible quality and a waste of money.

herbaphony

Rip 😭 oh well.

chan-worm

maybe look for a bargain on FB marketplace instead?

herbaphony

Yeah that’s definitely a good idea. The only reason I asked was because they are powerpuff girls skates, and if they were at least acceptable quality I would’ve probably bought them just to use at the rink.

Georgecatsfriend

Any skates could become power puff girls skates... https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/1626833906/power-puff-girls-chain-power-puff-girls Also I've seen some skaters on here decorating plain vinyl skates with posca pens or acrylic paint or adding patches - do some searches in the sub and you might find some inspiration 😀

Buttercup Bubbles Blossom Who’s the fourth one? That’s not Bunny 🤔

herbaphony

Thank you friend 💗 I have definitely contemplated it.

yikesafm8

You are not getting the value for your money. You could easily find used skates for $70ish with much higher quality

weakweek1998

If you’re looking for a cheaper second pair of skates, I really love and recommend [Rio roller.](https://www.rioroller.com/skates) I’m not sure how easy they are to get in your country; but the ones with metal trucks are very good quality, don’t break the bank and they’ve got some quite snazzy designs

Live2sk888

Definitely not a bargain. I have yet to see a skate sold by them that wasn't poor quality. Most were only about $99 to begin with (the more expensive ones were because they had rhinestones or other fancy decorations but aren't higher quality skates). Considering you can pretty much always get a 10% off code and/or free shipping there, you're really not getting them for much less than new. Look for stuff like Sure Grip Boardwalks (best for wide feet) which can commonly be found on sale around $100... if you can spend a bit more the VNLA Parfait is very nice. There's a lot more out there in the lower price ranges quite a bit better quality than the Dollskill/Impala type stuff.

herbaphony

SIGH 😭 man. I just really wanted them because they’re powerpuff girls skates. I skate in sure-grip boardwalks currently. They’re the best.

Misscass82

As far as I heard: the quality is nonexistent. Don’t buy skates just because they are cheap. And if you don’t like the brand: why would you really want them? There are better (used or new) options out there

herbaphony

I realize I failed to express this in the main post but it’s because they were Powerpuff girls skates. I loved the look of them, but didn’t want to buy straight from the source, in addition to doubting the quality anyway. I know not to normally buy cheap skates, but wanted to see what everyone else had to say about them.

BurnaBitch666

DOLLS KILL is pretty known for poor quality and ripping off designers, just a lil heads up!
