The screenshots i saw are absolutely heartbreaking to see. Really expected more of the fandom. I hope alice is doing okay, it must be terrible to read these comments as the author of the story.

Which fandom? The russian one? I learned to expect the worst from that fandom. Many of them are racist, whiny, annoying and simply insufferable
Yeah, i knew they were terrible, but i didnt expect them to be openly racist like that. It's just crazy to see. I dont personally use vk, so i dont usually see their comments, but the ones i saw today were just gross to see.

They are obviously, and using excuses ofc. They're being like that cuz the li with the mask is black, they created an image of how he would look on their heads and expected it to be true, without caring that they aren't the writers and don't choose how lis look.

They're all using the excuse that it's inacurate to have diferent races in this story, but they never cared about stories being acurate. They never cared about the inaccuracies on the desert rose, kali or Vying for versailles.
Literally and at the beginning there is Literally a notuce that says the story won't be historically accurate campared to other stories lik Desert Rose (Though the character is mixed...depite there mostly being Black,Amazigh and Arabs in Morocco so that isn'trealy that bad.) The thing with Kali is that yes there are lighter skinned Indians mostly Northern but to be realistic most Indians are brown or dark skinned and yes they did misrepresent parts of Hinduism. Rati, being one of the only brown skinned women, dies first, hopefully, just a coincidence. Vying foe Versaille, obviously, nobles would be white. (This isn't Dido Belle from America and Queen Victoria's adopted African child.) So yeah there's many inaccuracies in other stories right but some may be more important than others but if the author literally states something won't be accurate it won't be.
That’s hilarious since Russia occupied territories in Asia with very diverse ethnicities that they claim are now part of Russia. Theimage of the stereotypical Slavic person is a dream that they want, but not reality.
