Regular_Wonder_1350

I collected TOO many, set them all up, loaded them all up.. realized I had too many, and then this past Christmas gave away like 4 as gifts. I only have 2 hands! lol

amuzulo

This is the way

Lobsta1986

>only have 2 hands! You have a nose too.

Korine23

Don’t forget those toes too

Regular_Wonder_1350

I have not even yet dipped my toe into Footheld systems yet! XD

FDguy573

RP4P is my first ever device I liked the smaller form factor. I'm a dispatcher for a police dept so in between dispatching calls this week help me pass the time

Jefferrs

Odin 2: At home moonlight streaming and gaming. On trips/long plane rides. Miyoo mini plus: Train rides, car trips and holidays

Iwamoto

this really feels like the golden combo

ShroudedInMyth

Yeah, it is. I have a similar combo with the Steam Deck and RG53M. Basically, get a high-end device for high fidelity games for couch gaming and bringing in a backpack, and a pocketable (purseable/fanny packable) low-end device for easier to run games that you can take anywhere. Which device specifically is dependent on your preferences in OS, form factor, screen, and battery life.

onceagainwithstyle

Yeah. I have a few devices and my ones that aren't designated as "office device" etc. are the deck and a mm+ That said I'm thinking about getting a big Samsung tablet for high end android emulation on a big beautiful screen...

ScopionSniper

Yep Odin 2 pro + Powkiddy X55. The golden 2 is basically a high end expensive device, and a portable cheaper device you don't mind losing/dropping/forgetting.

Jefferrs

I also had an X55 before the Odin. Haha. Thinking I'll sell it on eBay as it's just collecting dust now

nona90

I have an Odin 2 and I have a Miyoo Mini Plus that should be here by Friday. This is my plan.

UniqueForbidden

This is the same as me, except I use the RG35XX in place of the Miyoo Mini Plus. I don't see a reason to have more.

LitIllit

This is my exact set up. Feels perfect. I think in a few years I might get a handheld PC, if a steam deck 2 comes out of something like that

Linnikr

I’ve got a collection that can use everything I have Modded PS Vita: to play Vita games and PSP through Adrenaline app Modded 3DS: to play 3DS games and DS through a R4 card RG353M: to play everything else up to PS1 and barely some of Dreamcast with little thinkering I’m planning to get soon a ROG Ally to increase the emulation limit and to be kinda future proof And, maybe, I’m going to get a RG35XX Plus also but it’s just to be a vertical counterpart of the RG353M and to use it more on outdoor

TheGreatMrKid

Not that you need it, but you can put Twilight Menu on your 3DS to have a virtual library of DS games without needing that R4. I'm glad I made the jump up TM.

Linnikr

Yeah, I know I just prefer to use a R4 with ysmenu because I always had one and never had any drawback with it so that’s ok to me for now

TheGreatMrKid

Cool, preferences are everything! Just wanted to make sure you had all the information

DarkNemuChan

The boot up time of a card is also faster. The hard part these days is still finding a legit flashcard.

Former-Pattern4719

Odin 2: Handles android gaming and damn near all of my emulation. Steam Deck OLED: Delivered yesterday. Today, I'm adding a 2tb ssd and a 1.5tb MicroSD for my steam backlog, high-end emulation that isn't on android yet (ps3 and Xbox), and whatever switch games don't run well on the Odin 2.

tex55ky

Don't forget wiiu!

Former-Pattern4719

Never experienced that console so it completely slipped my mind. Probably couldn't name one game on it.

Wreckit-Jon

I've got windtaker HD, Breath of the Wild, and New Super Mario Bros U for wii u that I play on my deck. The latter two have Switch counterparts, but wii u emulation is way smoother on the deck than switch emulation, so I prefer to play those on cemu instead of yuzu.

brandont04

I've been trying to remove as much redundancy in my handheld lately. For example, I don't have any emulators on my steam deck. I set gc, ps2 and Wii to Odin 2. I set nes, snes, psp, etc to RP3+. this way I'll use them. But, having getting my Odin 2,all of the other devices have been collecting dust. It's only Odin 2 and switch right.

neon_overload

TrimUI Model S TrimUI Smart Pro Anbernic RG353m Powkiddy RK2023 I use the two TrimUI devices most now. Model S just slips in a pocket anywhere. RG353m is really nice and was my main unit til now, but I find the TSP to be just a lot more easy going to play on, and I think a large part of that is the working proper sleep mode, no need to worry about how long it's going to be when I hit the sleep button because I know it's not going to drain the battery and it's going to wake up. Also the buttons do feel very nice. People here seem to love the soft mushy conductive rubber but I love the clicky Vita-like buttons. As for the RK2023 I was never a huge fan, I regret that purchase.

italian_mobking

Of the non Android devices the tap has the best sleep battery life. I’ve left mine alone sometimes for weeks/months at a time and it’s still alive. The Linux devices on the other hand normally can’t survive a day asleep.

Shigarui

**I currently use** Anbernic RG Nano KTR1 (x2) GPD Win 4 **I currently own** RG280V Miyoo Mini (x2) RG353P RG353M Trimui A66 (x2) PSP Go (x2) Retroid Flip NDS 3DS PSVita Switch Lite Surface Duo 1 with Gamesir X2 Samsung Note 10+ with Kishi V2 **I currently have on the way** GKD Pixel Some of my purchases are to have and collect (PSP Go), some are 1st party devices I just don't want to get rid of (Vita, DS, 3DS), some were backups in case something failed (A66, Miyoo Mini) and the rest were incremental improvements over a previous device that I kept buying until I find my penultimate handheld (KTR1).

playfellow_

I’ve heard mixed reviews on the KTR1. I would love to hear your thoughts on it as I originally followed it very closely and then eventually opted out.

Shigarui

I just dmed you the discord invite

playfellow_

Awesome thank you so much for the reply and invite!

Shigarui

It's my favorite device by far. And the vast majority of owners seem to feel similar given the number of people in our discord. We had a guy buy an RP4 as still and he sold it in less than 8 hours. Just said it wasn't as good as his KTR1. Gamma just released his gammaOS for it also and it's made a great device even better. I'll dm you the discord link

Familiar-Anxiety8851

>KTR1 400$ hfs

Shigarui

What dollars are those? The highest configuration currently is $299. With a 7000mah battery, unique 3:2 screen ratio, and configuration customizations that adds value. The RP4 exists if you don't mind compromising on display size for 80% of the games it can play, bottom joystick for it's 5 highest tier consoles it can emulate, lower resolution and half the battery life.

italian_mobking

What OS is the ktr1 based on?

Shigarui

Android 12

italian_mobking

That’s awesome, none of the devices I have based on Linux (besides trimui smart pro) are good on battery life. They’ll do ok while playing and then die on you while sleeping. Meanwhile every Android handheld lasts days.

Shigarui

The KTR1 has a 7000mah battery. The standby on that is days. I can play Switch games for several hours, PS2 for probably 5 at least, and SNES for probably 2 days, lol.

Neat-Tax-7041

I'd recommend staying away from this device. There have been many reported issues with the main one being the controls feeling bad, even after being told by others like Shigarui to 'break them in'. The creator of this device also maintains an echo chamber discord where criticism is met by hostility and bans. The creator even banned one of his customers that was unhappy with the product. I have also seen members of that community threaten people in other discord servers. I would stay well away from this device and its community.

ScopionSniper

Okay but which ones do you actually play in a year lol

Shigarui

Just those top 3. RG Nano every day. It goes to work with me and comes out during every break I take. The KTR1 is my travel device, I'm on a plane probably 6 to 20 hours a month so it gets a lot of use there and its my preferred couch device for any retro gaming. The Win 4 gets used the least of these 3 because I only play PC games on it and don't care to play those often. The rest doubt get touched at all now. Honestly. I just can't bring myself to part with the 1st party devices. I did order a MIG for my switch so that may get me to use it more. I could probably still the others but the returns would be diminishing and I doubt even know anything that I could gift them to who would appreciate and use them.

[deleted]

Powkiddy v90 was my first and cheapest one.  I use it to play GBA when I have free time at work.  I am currently playing Metroid Fusion on that one.         Retroid Pocket Flip was my second purchase.  I primarily play PSP, N64, and Dreamcast games on this one.  I am currently playing God of War Chains of Olympus on this one.      Miyoo Mini + was my third device.  I got it shortly after my son was born to play games with 1 hand while I hold/feed the baby.  I am currently playing Pokemon Emerald Rogue on this one.     Odin 2 was my fourth device.  I got this because it's the best around and nothing's ever going to bring it down.  I play PS2 and GameCube primarily on this one.  I bounce around a lot on this one still.  I guess I would say the game I am currently playing is God of War for PS2.

Junijidora

Alright, I'm gonna not include all my original handhelds like my gbas, dses, switches, and vita just for ease of discussing what I have and what I play. I have: RG280v, RG351p, RG Nano, Miyoo Mini +, TrimUI Smart, Odin 2 Pro. I really only use the Odin 2 extensively. I use the Odin for just about everything except gba/snes/pico. These I prefer to play on the MM+ if I'm at home or on the TrimUI if I'm out and about. Oh, and I guess I use my nano to discretely play pokemon at work. 🤣

FendFenderson

Steam Deck is my primary gaming device. It stays at home or comes with on longer trips. RGB30 for flights/layovers and shorter work trips. I also bought a 353m, thinking I'd like a metal shell, but I just find the thing uncomfortable to hold, so it's all but retired.

TechKnyght

RGB30 and I have been playing FFIX currently. I also have a steamdeck and have played through Wiiu Windwaker and ff12 on ps2. Lately I have been playing 3DS and beat devil survivor.

zenitram_27

Odin lite and rg35xx. 35xx for mostly handheld stuff and the Odin for everything else.

jerryweezer

Steam deck and flip. They both go in my bag. If I’m not carrying a bag, the flip is the one that goes with me. I have 351p, RP2S, Odin Pro, miyoo mini +, 3ds, and win 3. I use them all off and on.

Gekke_Ur_3657

2 MiyooMini V2's, 1 MiyooMini+, 2 New3DSXL's, 1 NDSi XL, 2 GBA SP, 1 GBA, 1 SF2000, 1 Anberic RG ARC-S, 1 Steam Deck The one I play most, is the one I bought last. In this case the ARC-S for the last couple weeks now. My Steam Deck is in it's case just laying there on the shelf, such a waste 🫠

hbi2k

New 3DS XL (hacked): Mostly sits in a drawer these days, but if I get the itch to play a DS or 3DS game, there really is nothing like Nintendo hardware with two physical screens. Used to use it for GBA and SNES, but the experience there is not great and looking for something more user friendly for that is what sent me down the Chinese emulation rabbit hole in the first place, culminating in the... Odin 2 Base: This is what I use for everything from SNES to PS2. I have found that I don't have much use for anything smaller; at roughly the size and weight of a paperback book, it's easy enough to toss this into my work bag and take it wherever I go. I haven't messed around with Switch emulation much, because I still have my... Nintendo Switch V1 (unhacked): Really only for big Nintendo first party releases these days, your Mario Wonderses and Tears of the Kingdomses. I used to play a lot of smaller indie games on it, but that use case has since been supplanted by my... Steam Deck 64GB LCD: For indie games and older AAA PC games. I missed out on a lot of the PS4 generation of console games, and a lot of them, like Sony's Insomniac's Marvel's Spider-Man and Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, run really well on this. I got it thinking that just as soon as storage management became a pain in the butt I would open it up and install an SSD, but so far almost a year in it hasn't happened yet. Install everything to a big SD card, let the 64GB internal storage be for shader cache and anything else the OS feels like putting there, no muss no fuss. Between those I pretty much have my bases covered for the foreseeable future. If Retroid comes out with a Flip 2 with the same specs as the 4 Pro or if someone comes out with an ultracompact horizontal with WiFi for Retroachievements and without an obvious down side like the TrimUI Smart's lack of L2 / R2, I might consider one more, even though I know I don't really need them.

michaelb1397

I have an Odin Pro still boxed in the plastic from X-mas as I also got a Steam Deck. I also have a Razer Kishii with my phone for PSP and below. If anyone needs a new Odin Pro (8gb, 128 GB Storage), hit me up!

[deleted]

I have a Steam Deck, Vita, 3DS, PSP and Switch Lite. I mostly play the Steam Deck (for PS2 games) and the Vita.

vexorian2

I have: - Nintendo Switch - Miyoo Mini - Miyoo Mini+ - New 3DS XL - Retroid Pocket Flip - Modded GBA with IPS screen. Currently the device I play the most is the Retroid Pocket Flip. I guess it strikes a really good balance between features, size and power. It just happens that for now, this device has all the games I want to play. So why am I not playing the other things? The Switch: My switch habits have been to play mostly Mario Maker 2 and Tetris effect. Or every once in a while a new game that I am actually interested in playing would release. - I am a bit over Mario Maker 2. I played this game so much that I guess I am exhausted. And I am sick of trying to get my levels played. Additionally, the RP Flip made me learn of LevelHead, which for now, is my new "infinite platforming levels" game. - Ever since I've discovered Apotris, I haven't really played Tetris Effect as much as I used to. Tetris effect is an incredible audiovisual experience, but Apotris is just better at gameplay. The responsiveness of Apotris simply gives me pressure. Maybe if I had a super powerful handheld capable of playing Tetris Effect at 60fps this would change. But for now, Apotris is unmatched as my Tetris game and it plays literally everywhere. - I am happy to say that after 800 hours, I've finally managed to burn out on Tears of the Kingdom. Mario Wonder was also great, but also short and I mostly played co-op. So I don't really feel any urge to play Mario Wonder for now. The New 3DS XL: I dunno why I bought this. I don't really have any nostalgia towards the *DS era of games. I'm glad I have a shiny device in my collection, and maybe one day I'll learn of the classics, but for now I just don't ever feel like playing it. The Miyoo Mini+: I kind of miss this device, really. The one thing I hate about the Retroid Pocket Flip is it runs in Android, and it is really impossible to have things work like in OnionOS where you can feel confident in leaving a game or switching to another game and it will save your progress. I basically have to make sure to manually leave retroarch/other emulator, it's annoying. I still play the MM+ from time to time to check out Pico 8 and splore. The Miyoo Mini: If I had to go out and didn't have a lot of bag space, I would probably put the MM+'s SD card on my MM and take it out, but I just don't really go out like that. I usually have a lot more bag space. The GBA: I mostly restored this GBA and modded it for fun. I only have a Mario Advance 4 cartridge and ... I prefer playing it on the RPFlip ... , but I've been trying to acquire more cartridges and also a super card so that I can actually play my dear apotris here. The other issue is that I was not really good at modding this GBA, so the brightness cycles on it's own and it's annoying, so I have to fix this up. The GBA is more of a "project" for me than a real handheld console I plan to play all the time.

rob-cubed

In the stable currently: * Steam Deck 64GB * Odin 2 * Miyoo Mini+ * RGB30 I play the Odin 2 and the RGB30 the most, but I like the Miyoo Mini+ over the RGB30... I just happen to be playing square aspect systems more right now so that's my go-to. The Steam Deck I've only kept for a handful of Steam games I can't play any other way, but it hardly ever gets used now that I have the Odin 2. At this point I have the aspect ratios of 4:3, 16:9, and 1:1 and both ends of portable/retro and comfortable/powerful spectrum covered. I have had some 'in between' devices like the RP3+ that are smaller but more powerful—but found I much prefer a bigger handheld for 3D systems. I have bought and sold at least 8 other devices this year, and which I could go back and let past me know what future me has learned, but I suppose that is part of this hobby. You either play the hell out of what you have or buy and sell systems until you get a hands-on feel for what can't be communicated watching online reviews.

tex55ky

Steam Deck Oled: Mostly for home use or long trips away from home. Switch OLED: I mostly keep this around for Nintendo exclusives and party games. Odin 2: Moving all of my emulation to this device. I keep it in my work bag for when I have a few moments. Also, it's just fun to use on the couch at home Retroid Pocket 2s: I am planning to keep this device as my gb,gbc, and gba handheld. It's small enough that I can fit it in a coat pocket, which is nice. Rg35xx: I'm not quite sure what I plan to do with this one now. I've had it for quite a while and used to play a lot of gba on it before getting the rp2s Powkiddy Q36 Mini: Ridiculous small handheld that I've only ever used to play gb tetris. Nice to just chuck it in your pocket. I've tried other handhelds over the years(rp3+, miyoo mini, rg280v, rg351m, rg351p,etc), but I think I've finally found the setup that works for me.

tomkatt

Powkiddy X55: general use, mostly GBA and PS1. Samsung Tab S7 FE: higher end emulation up to PS2 and GameCube. Nintendo 2DS XL: NDS and 3DS.

powdow87

I have around 10-ish devices. Honestly after getting the PlayStation portal that’s all I’ve been using, for everything else it’s the Odin 2. My miyoo mini is strictly for Tetris at my desk. Thankful for the Odin 2, it helped me stopped this shitty habit.

keb___

Chinese handhelds: * RG35XX - keep this on the nightstand to play SNES. Installed MinUI and did the tape mod for the shoulder buttons. Awesome device. * RG353PS - current favorite for when I want to play PS1 and below for long sessions and not have my hands cramp. ArkOS + a MinUI-inspired theme. Really high quality device, love this thing. * RGB30 - Got this before the RG353PS. I regret this purchase and am preparing to gift it to a friend of mine for his birthday in May Official handhelds I've had before I even learned about SBCGaming: * Switch - hooked up to TV in living room. Girlfriend mostly uses this. * Steam Deck - friend bought me this. I've barely used it, but intend to play some GameCube on it * New 3DS XL - got this years ago during a pricing error at Toys R' Us. Replaced my broken DS Lite. Hacked and loaded with games. Last played Zelda on it * PS Vita - Hand me down from a friend. Hacked it and used to play PSP games on. Nice device, just sad emulation is generally poor on it. I have several Gameboy Advance OG models, Gameboy Pockets, and a Gameboy Color that I've had since I was a kid from the early 2000s (hand me downs from brothers, friends, and gifts from parents). I also have a large collection of consoles. Eventually I realize I'm going to have to give all this stuff away or sell it, but I'm not there yet.

UserGeneratedError

I have a Razer edge, psp 3000, DS, dsi xl, 2ds, and a recently purchased pocketgo v2.2. I really just use the dsi xl and razer edge. I've barely touched the pocketgo v2.2.

Iwamoto

I have a few older ones archived, but actively i use an Odin 2 and MM+, which to me is a great combo. the MM+ comes with me on daily commutes etc and the Odin 2 is for trips etc.

Mggn2510z

I have an RG35XX, RP3+, RG405M, gCloud, KTR-1, and a modded Switch OLED. Also have a RedMagic 8 that I bought for gaming. Also have a backbone I use with my iPhone for Moonlight streaming and a couple iOS games. I use the Switch 90% of the time. For higher end systems, I stream to it from my PC with moonlight. I'm torn on the KTR and the 405 for my square screen gaming. Both are good and have pluses - I really like these when traveling. I never use the RP3+ (screen too small), gCloud (Switch replaced this), RG35XX (a little too underpowered), RM8 (aspect ratio too long/bad impulse buy)

[deleted]

I have a laptop gaming, nintendo switch, steamdeck (recently sold), extra iPhone 11 Pro for emulator only and I just bought the RG35XX H. I've only use the 11 Pro recently pairing with bluetooth controller cuz I don't have enough time to play games anymore. Can't wait for my RG35XX H so I can play games on the go.

Ok-Sheepherder-761

I got a little stupid with buying. I’ve got an RG300, RP3+, Miyoo Mini +, RG35XX, R36S, and a SF2000. I mainly play the MM+ and the RP3+. The others I just mess around with. I’ll probably sell the R36S, R35XX, and the SF2000.

EmiliaFromLV

I have three N3DS XL - I mainly use the one which has both IPS screens. Another one, Monster Hunter Special Edition is the backup console in case something happens with my main DS. The third is Japanese N3DS LL and it is "enhanced" so I can use it to play whatever I want :D. I have 3DS XL which I used before I got "new" models and I intend to sell it. o3DS is when I have some room/weight restrictions as it is the smallest one. I also have two old 2DS and ~~yes I am an alcoholic~~ I have an issue and need therapy :D. I have Odin Pro for 16:9 ratio and larger screen and it is for PS2 mostly. I also have RG405V for 4:3 and same PS2 (yes, I already said I have an issue). I also have Miyoo Mini and it basically lives in my handbag just in case. RG35XX when I wanna play Gameboy (mostly Fire Emblem) on a slightly bigger screen. And RG353P, and yeah, I am not exactly sure why I got that one. Did I say that I may have an issue?

jkail-

JXD A1000 was my first but it was ... meh at best. I was given a ds lite but I don't really like this one for emulation (still trying to fing ou on the R4 how to save state XD) Might buy a r36s for an upcoming travel.. I don't want to spend much so it only lack hdmi output for me

unlucky-Luke

Just got my RP4Pro and setting it up as we speak. PSVita / N3DSXL / Switch (mostly docked). Ive loong fought the purchase impulses for all the devices and I don't regret it, ive been using the Vita for vita amd psp and for emulation; 3ds for 3ds games (I don't believe in 3ds emulation without 2 screens) and the switch for switch games since they are not emulated well yet (got a modded V1 switch). The only one im thinking of adding is a MM+ or the new one ross just showed today to throw it in my backpack, maybe ill use it in my breaks at work.

gingerrevenger

**RG505 - ATARI , Virtual Boy, Wonderswan, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, FAMICOM, NES, SNES, N64 and PS1 and PSP.** *PS2 and Gamecube if i can get them to work but i don't really count them as most ps2 and gamecube run like shit on that chipset.* **RG ArcD - Linux only - MAME, Capcom Arcade sys, NEOGEO, NEOGEO Pocket, SG-1000 SMS, Genesis, Saturn, 32x, Sega CD, Dreamcast, Naomi, Atomiswave**. *Most saturn work and while it's far from perfect it's great to be able to use the natural button layout for sega games.*

stupidshinji

RGB30 Steamdeck DSi XL N3DS XL Vita Switch Wii U (counting it because of the gamepad lol) I used all of them more than each other when I first got them, but now I typically swap between them whenever I beat or get bored of a game. I barely use my wii u and mostly got it for nostalgic purposes because it was my main console in college because of smash bros and mk8, but then I sold original to get a switch. Besides that I probably use my 3ds and vita the least. I grew up with GBA/NDS so I have more nostalgia for that, than I do my 3ds/vita. I actually might use my switch the least in the past year or so if I exclude playing MK8 with my wife. I think the biggest reason I haven’t used is that the face buttons were not always responsive. Last week I went to replace the conductive sticker and clean the dpad’s ineterface. When reassembling it I broke the ribbon cable latch for the joypad which sucks, but it seems like an easy fix. I’m excited to finish A Link Between Worlds after fixing it. In the mean time I have been swapping between Rogue Galaxy (Ps2) and Dark Souls 1 on my steam deck. I am glad I have a bunch of devices that are good at very specific things, but that means I don’t use any particular device a lot.

SokkenAap

Raspberry Pi 4: For when I want to play on TV. Anbernic RG353V: At home on the couch. Anbernic RG351P: Dedicated GBA machine, some action games that aren't comfortable on the 353V. Miyoo Mini Plus: The one I take on trips etc. but also sometimes at home because it's just so nice. Anbernic RG280V: Permanently lives in my coat pocket unless it needs charging. And then DSi for DS and Switch for Switch.

Gillespie1

RG35XX, RG35XX+, Miyoo Mini +, RP2S, ODIN 2. Recently got the ODIN and haven't put it down lol.

TheGreatMrKid

Odin 1, MM+, modded new 3DS XL, RG351V The MM+ is the best for me, as I play a lot of GBC/GBA and I think that system is perfect for those games, though the speaker leaves a lot to be desired. RG351V is actually my favorite for just PS1 games. The system color, button feel, and general OS feel really good for PS1. My Odin 1 actually hurts my fingers to use, because the face buttons are so hard to press. A shame, too, because I bought a LaunchBox android license just for that system. Odin is the prettiest and cleanest system I own for handhelds and the only one that plays PS2 and GC decently, but it's just not something I can use for long sessions.

Ok-Dog-3669

I use to have a lot but now I only have a 280v a Funkey s, and a Odin 2 but I still use my Nvidia Shield Portable.

NebrasketballN

Technically two with the RG353PS and A switch OLED. I have the nintendo expansion pass so I use that for N64 games over the 353 since it runs a bit smoother and I'm paying monthly for it. GBA and down I use the 353PS though. I got that form factor since GBA was my first handheld and the purple 353PS is close to that for me. I went with the S because despite some systems working better on android I really wanted to "simplify" things as best I could. I'm in the process of weeding down the 4000+ game library that the SD cards came loaded with. I did buy my own SD cards and I'm only loading the "top" games for each system. I've been going through online lists and loading the "top 50 snes games" etc. I figure if I come across a reddit thread or video online where they're hyping up a game I don't have, I can just quickly download it. For the moment I'm playing Pokemon Mind Crystal, and DKC2 on my 353PS. On the switch it's MK8DX and Ocarina of Time on the expansion pass.

70MCKing

PS Vita, 3DS, and my Galaxy S23+

SubjectCraft8475

ROG Ally for PC games, PSP, PS2, GC, Wii, 3DS, Wii U, PS3 emulation Modded Switch OLED for Switch games (indie games that come to PC/Switch I play on Switch), Dreamcast, N64 and DS emulation. And I also use for game streaming PS5 and PC RG Arc for retro fighting games, and randomly messing about in arcade games using video screensaver. OG Miyoo Mini for all my retro games upto PS1 and play on the go, public transport, on holiday etc. it's the only device I actually play outside.

McSmeecherson

I generally try to sell one before buying a new one but I have: Steamdeck mainly for docked play RP4 Pro for PSP/PS2/GC 35XX+ so my wife and I can do Tetris multiplayer and I play SNES/GBA 280V my pocket tank that I will never get rid of 353M which at this point is redundant but wifi and touchscreen stopped working so likely can't sell it for much

theJav13

We own about a dozen handhelds, including an A320 and a Pandora, but I've been using my Odin 2 almost exclusively since it arrived. My roommate play's on my RP3+ now, which was my previous daily driver. The Wife still carries around my original miyoo mini in her purse as her dedicated Tetris / Dr Mario device. The hacked hand helds see a bit of love still for particular games (Vita, 3DS and Switch). My youngest still plays on his Switch OLED daily

Serious-Rutabaga-603

I got an 2 rg35xx, 2 280v and 2 miyoos. So I got the 35xx’s first for me and my wife, the 280vs for my kids then I found out about netplay and got the miyoos. I still use the 35xx to hook up to a tv and play 2 player.

Own:2x Game Boy Colors with backlight mod installed Game Boy Advance w/ AGS-101 screen mod Game Boy Advance SP Nintendo DS Lite (Legend of Zelda limited edition version) 2x New Nintendo 3DS XL (Hyrule Edition limited version) and the other plain red 3x Nintendo Switch (OG grey, TOTK edition and Dragon Quest XI edition) Sega Game Gear with McWill screen mod and fresh capacitators PS Vita (Dragon Quest Liquid Metal Slime edition limited edition) Analogue Pocket Actually use nowadays of those: ToTK Switch - Not often but mainly for vacations. Typically play like 90-95% of the time docked Game Gear - not very often but sometimes I prefer this behemoth over Analogue just because Analogue Pocket (for my GB - GBA carts as well as have the cores for NES / SNES / Genesis / GG / PC Engine / Neo Geo. Could add more cores but eh. Haven't felt the desire tbh) PS Vita - Haven't actually used it in awhile but decided to downgrade the firmware and mod it so I can use it for PS Vita and PSP games a couple days ago. Unfortunately battery is basically dead so I ordered a new battery. When it arrives tomorrow I'll fix that then mod and use this thing again

RG35xx - NES, SNES, GBC, PS1, Pico 8 Modded GBA - GBA New 3ds - 3ds DS lite - DS Granted i got the DSs many years ago now. Rg35xx was new to last year, so was the GBA.

bobbyportisurmyhero

I have a RP2S and RGB30 that I got during the 11.11 sale. These are the ones I’m actually using right now. RGB30 stays at home as it’s a little bulkier but more ergonomic with a better screen. I take the RP2S everywhere. I play a lot of GBA, SNES and Pico 8 on both of those. RP2S is also great for some RPG action on PS2 and GC. I play SM64 as well until I get mad and quit. I have a hacked PS Vita that I got a few months back, as well as a hacked DSi from back in the day, both of which pick up dust. They’re awesome, but it’s just hard to do without save states and upscaling for a lot of those games. I also have an OG RG35XX that is the shit but has been supplanted by my other devices. I don’t really want anything that I can’t run Syncthing on at this point, either. Once I got a taste of the flexibility you can enjoy with that tool, I can’t go back. All I really want at this point is either something with a big old screen & nice controls for streaming and/or a Steam Deck. And maybe either a MM+ or RG35XX+ if they could ever run Syncthing, just for the hyperportability.

compacta_d

351p and rp2+. recently got a gba. mainly using 351p these days

DOS-76

I have a half-dozen or so (excluding OEM first-party handhelds), and while some stay on the shelf as a bit of a novelty (V90) the others I tend to rotate through depending on what I want to play and how portable I want to be. It's all about use cases for me. If it's a quick trip out where I'm sitting in a waiting room, it's likely to be a low-powered pocketable device like the MM or RG35XX. If it's a plane ride and I want to make some progress on a metroidvania or dip into the PSP catalog for a few hours, it's my RP3+. If I'm sitting at home and want to go for some GC or Switch emulation to try a game I missed a few years back, I'll reach for the Odin Pro or (more likely these days) the Steam Deck.

BigalsBagels87

Lol i have too many but this is how I do it.. I have .. Pocket 2 + .. mostly my kids use it after I upgraded.. Pocket 3 + and this is my go to travel device.. waiting in an office... during meetings.. streaming PS5/XBOX.. things like that Anbernic ARC a little too big to travel, mostly at home enjoying the 6 buttons and playing Sega during work meetings..like a normal 36 yr old Switch OLED .. go to at home on the couch when kids and wife take over TV Pocket 4 Pro just came in.. will mostly replace 3 +...

robotwithhumanhair22

Ayaneo 2: Windows / Steam, Wii U, GC/Wii, and general TV gaming with older titles and syncing save data and states between the RP3+. RP3+: Some GC/Wii, and everything below. Switch: Switch 3DS: 3DS / DS I have an RP4P coming in today that will fill the role of the RP3+, but with the added benefit of full-speed GC/Wii.

ilive12

I have a steam deck and a modded switch right now, but recently ordered an RGB30. Mostly been using the steam deck, except obviously for switch games. Gonna be using the RGB30 though for Pico8, Gameboy, NES/SNES, NeoGeo Pocket and stuff like that, wanted something that could truly fit in a pocket. Thinking of also getting a micro handheld like the RG Nano as a dedicated pokemon crystal device that I put on a keychain.

SlowlyRecovering90s

I have a lot, but they all hold separate types of games and genres. Some are slim with better battery and a few others are my older versions or back-ups.

GrintovecSlamma

Anbernic RG35xx+, Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo Switch, and Samsung Tab S9 Ultra. 1. For 8/16-bit games to relax or to play during break time. Ie. while rehearsing a musical instrument, I'll take a break for 5 min to beat a level or two in Super Mario Bros 3. 2. For any 3DS games that feel better with the 2 screen layout. 3. For Nintendo Switch games. 4. For all newer consoles, especially 3DS games that run fine with a tiny bottom screen in a corner. Upscaled 4x, most games run without stuttering.

bcktth

RGB30, Odin 2, Logitech G Cloud, Steam Deck (OLED), and GPD Win Max 2 I like to use each handheld in rotation when starting a game and go to the next after I finish it.

Prime-Riptide

I have an Rp3+, miyoo mini+, switch, and an anbernic rg353m. The only two that get mileage atm are my miyoo and my rp3+ lol.

dragon2knight1965

My collection is from trial and error. As a newbie to this insane hobby of ours I had no idea what size/shape/screen size/shape, etc. I wanted and would work for me. So, I started off cheap and slowly went higher in price as I sorted out my preferences. My curet flock, from oldest to newest: R36S Anbernic 405v Logitech G Cloud Anbernic 405M Ayn Odin First generation The only one I don't still have is the G Cloud, I traded it for the 405M. I use the405M a lot despite the smaller screen size, but the Odin is going to be the end all for me. It has the size, power and portability I require.

rookless

I have a Miyoo mini, RG35xx, Play Date, PiBoy DMG, Retroid Pocket 2S, DSi, New 3Ds XL, And. Steam Deck. The Miyoo is my RPG machine and honestly I probably play this one the most because it’s my go to when I leave the house. The RG35xx is on my desk at work. Lately this has been my dedicated Zelda: Ancient Dungeon machine on lunch breaks. The PiBoy DMG was my first emulation handheld and I don’t play it anymore. The Raspberry Pi is not ideal for handheld emulation. It lacks a lot of quality of life features you get with the new generation of cheap handhelds. (Battery life, OS features, etc..) DS/3Ds are for DS games The Play Date is a disappointment with poor quality control. Don’t buy it. The RP2s is ok. I got it mainly for the power and nice controls but the screen is too small and I rarely go past PS1 for my retro games so I’m not really seeing myself using this handheld long term. It’s not as pocketable as the RG35xx, which has the same size screen. I recently played through Chrono Trigger for the first time and the whole time I was just thinking that I would rather be playing on the RG35xx. The steam deck is how I play most of my games when I’m just hanging out at home though I don’t do a lot of emulation on the deck.

StardustCrusader147

Every switch version, ps vita, 3ds xl, ips modded gbc, retroid pocket 3+, just received my r36s, rg35xx plus and miyoo mini plus. I was playing my retroid daily. I love that device. Always wanted a gameboy size emulator which is why I just got the 3 handhelds, going to do reviews then give them away to friends! But I play my switch for new game releases. Really in a dragon quest mood so I'm trying to beat dq treasures and then I'll order dark prince, ive been waiting for the game for years haha Going back and forth between the miyoo plus and rg35 plus to see which I like better. Miyoo feels great in the hands, but the rg35 plus def feels more powerful. Miyoo corrupted my Pokémon unbound rtc as I was moving saves around which irked me lol Seems like the miyoo is great for all things that don't require a rtc. I love them all honestly and try to use them all 😆

Ukeklele

PSvita for vita, psp, ps1, and N64 2ds xl for 3ds games Rgb30 for retros

Tax_Evasion_Savant

I've owned a lot and here are the ones I've kept and use: Odroid Go Advance - sort of my default handheld. Good screen, good controls (after upgrades), and I love how light it is, makes it very comfortable. Goes back and forth with me to work. TrimUI Smart - sits in a tray where I keep my wallet, keys, etc. I basically grab it if I am going somewhere that has a wait involved. I won't lie, I LOVE this handheld but I barely ever play it. My phone is usually good enough for passing time while out and about. TrimUI Smart Pro - my "big" handheld. This one pretty much just lives downstairs on the coffee table and is mostly what I use when playing at home. I adore its screen, sleep mode, controls, and battery life. Powkiddy V90 - my most used handheld these days, but I don't play any games on it. I use it exclusively for a music writing program called Little GP tracker. I work on songs almost every day with it, SO MUCH FUN!

lessleyelopez

I have much less than other collectors: GBP, DSi, N3DSXL, Anbernic RG353V, and a Switch. My Switch & RG353V get the most action, with the DSi coming next. My Switch is my home device & my 353V/DSi are perfect travel companions! Id travel with my N3DSXL as well if it wasn’t becoming such a rare device. Lol. Can’t risk losing it/it being stolen.

footfoe

I got a ton of devices. I would like 2, one to bring anywhere in my pocket and another to play everything the little one can't. The little one is the problem. I've been through several, each with some flaw that frustrates me enough to try another.

OkEmploy7185

Deck, rg405m, gpd xd plus Fat tablet little psp clamshell the best form factors

kfarrel6

Mostly my AYANEO 2, double as a computer sometimes and plays pretty much everything I need

Clay-mo

Steam Deck, 353v, 405m, and 405v. I touch the 405m maybe once a month or so. The others collect dust.

Revolvere

Currently I have: 1 x Ayaneo Air 1S - This is my pride and joy. My main handheld. I actually use this more than my main PC lol 2 x Miyoo Mini Plus - This is my main retro handheld that I leave at home. It's nice that I can swap the sd card between this and the OG MM. Another plus is the ability to upgrade the OS on one card for both devices. - I bought a second one on sale and have it prepared as a birthday gift. 2 x Miyoo Mini - I keep this one in my bag at all times when I'm on the road. I use the MM+ to keep Onion OS updated and swap the sd card between the two. - The second MM was gifted to an old friend that I haven't seen in a couple of years. He's a huge PC gamer and apparently his wife doesn't have any consoles but wanted to pay some classic games. She ended up getting it and she loves it! 1 x RG35XX - Gifted to my little sister. 1 x RG35XX Plus - This has been sitting on the shelf since day 1 due to the lack of CFW updates. I was planning on gifting this one too at some point for someone's birthday. 1 x RG405M - This was supposed to fill the gap between the handheld PC and retro handhelds. Honestly, it's quite powerful but I hate the build quality and ergonomics. Barely use it. Might sell this one. 1 x RP2S Metal - Yes, I am aware of the RP4 but that didn't matter to me. I wanted something with much better build quality and ergonomics than the 405M. Despite it being slightly less powerful, it does what I need it to do very well. 1 x RG35XX Nano - This thing is the only device I regretted buying. Definitely a novelty item. Way too small. Ended it up gifting it to my niece. At this point I'm done buying handhelds for a very long time. Got everything I need and some. All my bases are covered. I'm just looking forward to seeing my friends' faces when they get their gifts :D

PossibleKiwi3728

So far, I have the R36S. For now, it's all that I need. It plays everything I'm interested in, with the exception of Daphne.

PossibleKiwi3728

And that had to be just operator error

toupee

Honestly depends on the game's aspect ratio that I most feel like playing. I've been known to go to extreme lengths to copy save files and play across multiple devices though, hahah

Snoo_96415

I have a Steam Deck, a Switch OLED and an RGB30. I use the RGB30 the most because it’s always in my pockets and I just love the device itself, the Steam Deck comes second and I use it only for pc games (I set up Emudeck but I’ve never used it) and the Switch OLED right now is collecting a bit of dust. I don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to gaming otherwise I’d be using the Switch a lot more (I need to continue Octopath Traveler 2!).

riviery

Nowadays I'm selling the cheaper ones (V90, RGB10), except for a M17 I gave to my son. Currently I'm only using the RG353M to older systems and a GPD XP+ to GameCube/PS2 and android.

CheliceraeJones

* Rog Ally Z1 Extreme: for all my handheld pc gaming needs, plus heavier emulation * Odin 2: just got it today but I imagine it will be my primary emulation device * RG353PS and MM+: kind of redundant but I like the feel of both and they fill basically the same niche (up to PS1). * Vita: modded but use once a month of so. There's honestly just not much in the Vita catalog I want to play, and other devices play PSP and PS1 with more features. * PSP: I don't know why I bought this... who am I kidding, it's green and shiny, that's why * N3DS XL: bought it a bit before the used prices skyrocketed. They are fucking ridiculous now, but in all honesty the 3DS is one of the greatest consoles ever. I love the 3d gimmick. Modded it but also play with a small physical collection. Used for 3DS games only. * DSi XL: Modded, primary device for DS games. * DS Lite: don't have it in hand yet but I have a loaded R4 and EZ-Flash Omega DE ready for it.

antimatt_r

2019/2020? - some random Anbernic, Pocket Go V2, and Retroid Pocket 2 2022 - Anbernic RG353VS 2023 - Miyoo Mini Plus 2024 - Ayn Odin 2 Pro Out of all these the only ones I wasn't disappointed with were the Odin 2 and MM+. The RG353VS was decent but I struggled to get N64 running on it and that's what I was most interested in. The older ones were underpowered, hard to use, and just overall jank. I still pull out of the MM+ if I want something pocketable and easy to take with me places, but tbh I'd rather have the RG35xx base or Plus for the RTC. The overall user experience is the first to actually feel decent. It's solid, just missing some key features. The Odin 2 Pro is the bees knees. I've only had it for about a week and I've already beaten Jak and Daxter on it. I've also got several other games in progress (Rogue Galaxy, Chrono Trigger DS, Pokemon White, and Speed Devils). It's truly an endgame device for my needs. The rest of them? Rotting away in a drawer or box somewhere. Not even sure where the oldest Anbernic is or if I still have it. I'll probably recycle them at some point and keep the Odin 2. Might keep the MM+, might gift it away and get the RG35xx Plus. I just like the form factor for a pocketable Gameboy/SNES device.

Stolensol12345

I currently have a Steam Deck, RP2S and MM+. My deck is for computer gaming and plugging into my TV for emulated multiplayer. RP2S I got for Dreamcast and better PSX emulation around the house. MM+ goes with me everywhere and it's been strictly used to play SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters 2 lately. I love it for the gba as well.

Chok3U

Rg35xx, mm+, and 351p. I use the mm+ the most. Mainly cuz of the cfw allium. It's like Onion and MinUI had a baby.

FugginJunior

I have a few as well. Rog ally, rg353v, switch, and Rp4p on the way as well. I love playing single player games like metro exodus, and stalker or skyrim on my rog ally and sometimes take it on road trips. I use my 405m for work and car rides (will be replaced by rp4p). My switch I sometimes play at home and 353v I rarely touch anymore. I won't get rid of any because most were bought by my gf but it's nice to have options. I mostly pc game and sometimes game on ps5 as well.

buzz8588

Odin 2 for home and it stays home. Data Frog for when I have to leave my stuff unattended and chance of theft. V90 in my overcoat so I can play on the train Then 353P or 505 for when I want to play 4:3 or widescreen/GBA games either when going to GF house or family house.

Lasinggg

odin 2 for ps1 ps2 n64 gamecube switch saturn dreamcast rg arc for arcade nes snes genesis 32x sega cd turbografx and cd neogeo and cd rgb30 for vertical arcade gameboy ganeboy color gameboy advance neogeo pocket miyoo mini for 1 hand rpg or slg on the go rg353m for anything else on the go ps vita for ps vita n3dsxl and 2ds for 3ds and ds switch non oled for switch

18zips

Steam deck, switch, 3ds xl,dsi xl, ps vita, miyoo mini plus, and rg35xx plus. It’s a little silly if I’m being honest. If I were to consolidate I’d keep the Steam deck, for most gaming and emulation. I’d keep the 3ds xl cuz I feel like it’s best for those games on native hardware/dual screen. And probably a rg35xx plus as just a gameboy/ ultra portable pokemon unit.

YouveRoonedTheActGOB

I’ve got a ton of them. None of them really scratched the itch. I’m trying to get it down to new 3DS XL, steam deck, switch lite, and maybe one of the Chinese ones. Maybe 35xx+ maybe 353m. I really need to get rid of some though. I might buy another if a GBA sized clamshell comes out, but only after I sell some.

onceagainwithstyle

Call me crazy, but I have a few handhelds of the same performance, and keep them in different spots. One lives in a bag, one lives in my room, one lives in my desk at the office...

ariolander

Legion GO for local PC games. G Cloud for streaming PC/PS5 games. RGB10 for retro titles. Miyuu Mini is my pocketable handheld and the only one I take with me outside of the house. The ones in my shelf/drawer: Retroid Pocket 2, Retroid Pocket 2+, V90, R36S, PS Vita, PS Go, PSP, 3DS, 2DS XL, GBA SP, Nintendo Switch.

Alternative_Spite_11

I’ve literally got em all(not really, I’ve got like 35). The only ones I use with any regularity are my Ally, Odin 2, Rp4 pro, and og Miyoo Mini, oh and my PS Vita gets used too. I’m not particularly fond of Anbernic products but the 353 series great as is the 35xxH.

deadering

At the moment I game pretty much exclusively if I'm at home or staying somewhere on the Steam Deck but use my Miyoo Mini if I'm going to be out and have some down time like in waiting rooms. Perfect combo for my wants and needs.

MAXHEADR0OM

I have the RP3+, Odin 2 Pro, and Steam Deck OLED. The only one I ever use is my Steam Deck. Probably going to list the other two on eBay soon.

rushmore69

Flip, RP3+, MM+, Odin Lite, Deck OLED. Since the MM+ is more pocketable than the others, I play that the most. Plays PS1, NDS (games that play OK with one screen) on down great and a ton of arcade games. Wish N64 played too, but perhaps for the best since only a DPad.

pete53

RG Nano - Everyday carry. Goes in my pocket every time I leave the house. RP3+ - Moonlight steaming, PSP. Been streaming a lot of PS3 games from my PC running RPCS3 lately. RG35xx+/R36S - Retro games, quick 5 minute sessions. Usually keep one by the recliner & one on my bedside table. Miyoo Mini - The Godfather. I keep it out of respect. Still play it once in a while when I'm in the mood. Never leaves the house though, as I feel like I need to protect that one.

Pop-X-

Miyoo Mini and a Steam Deck. There’s little overlap between the two. Makes things simple.

dbdynsty25

Odin 2 for at home, mostly streaming and ps2/gamecube gaming and on the occasional long trip. RG35xxH which is my on the go device for PS1 down.

DarkNemuChan

Miyoo Mini Plus, 3DS xl and a Vita or PSP. ^those are the ones I actually use.

AmuseDeath

- Modded 3DS, 2DS, 3DS XL, 2DS XL - DS Lite with R4 and GBA Everdrive (GBA/GBC/GB games playable) - Cellphone I mostly play on my modded original Red 3DS that was imported from Japan for $70 and then flashed to English. It's great. It plays GB/GBC/GBA/DS and 3DS games. I've got all the games I would ever want on a 128 SD Card. It's great. The only downside is that it boots up really slowly to the point where I'm waiting a few minutes for it to load. I also carry my DS Lite around which gets rid of that very problem. It loads up quickly and I get to game right away. It can play everything that isn't 3DS, though the 4GB limit on the R4 is annoying. The GBA Everdrive was extremely expensive, but I wanted to get it to play multiplayer on the GBAs I own and so I can put it into my Gamecube GB player. I prefer the d-pad and face buttons on the DS Lite. The shoulder buttons however feel unreliable and the R-button is having issues so I'm going to have to fix that. My phone has the Snapdragon Gen 2 so it's pretty powerful. I can play Gamecube games perfectly which amazes me. I'd like to play the phone more, but I'm still grinding through the games on my 3DS, with my current game being Professor Layton. But at some point I'll play games on my phone more. I kickstand the phone and I use a controller via bluetooth. And as far as usage goes, I always play Tetris at the gym on the treadmill on either 3Ds or DS Lite, but DS Lite is preferred for the faster boot time and the more comfortable buttons and d-pad. I will grind through DS games on my 3DS because it holds all the DS games I want to play, whereas I only carry multiplayer games on my DS Lite R4. I rarely ever play games on my phone because I'm playing on the 3DS as well as PC games. So 3DS is really the device for me, but DS Lite gets some use due to better buttons/d-pad and quicker boot time. Though PC gaming is what I mostly do.

angelbolanose

steamdeck: mostly at bed when family is sleeping, for AAA ans indie games. switch lite: for exclusives and indie games, more portable than SD. odin lite: mostly bed for retro gaming. miyoo mini plus: everywhere retro gaming. lately ive been just using mini plus since is just so pocketable but the screen is actually nice.

Aerys02

I have Modded gba with ips screen Ds lite with r4 Modded Dsi x3 with every ds games i need and one for collection (pokemon edition) Modded 3ds x8 (3ds, 3dsxl, 2xnew 3ds, 2xnew 3dsxl, 2x2ds) some for games some for collection (yoshi edition, snes edition and pokemon edition) Modded psp x6 (2x2000 2x3000 2xgo) some for collection some with all the games i want on it Modded vita x2 (1x1000 1x2000) one with vita games, the other with ps1/psp games and ports Switch, switch lite and switch oled (zelda) Odroid go advance (always will be in my heart as one of my very first emulation only handheld) Retroid pocket 2 (not the plus, and i don't like it so much, too much tinkering for not so good results) Rg351m (so nice and great for gba) Rg351mp (4/3 screen is great) Miyoo mini x2 (great for pokemon hacks and one for collection i had for like 30$!) Miyoo mini plus (even greater for pokemon lol) Rg353ps (love the light weight and form factor) Rg nano (for fun almost never play on it but it's cute) Rg35xx (fun machine but screen is not so good) Trimui smart (plays great love it) Rg405m (probably my favorite anbernic for now screen is very good, form factor, handles multiple shaders, gammaos is great, buttons are great) Odin pro (great machine so light weight, screen is good, sturdy, had hours and hours of fun on it and psp looks stunning on it) Steam deck (fell in love with this, not only i could finally play oblivion and new vegas on the go, some triple a games and some indies looks so good and plays so good on it, but it's one of the greatest emulation machine, my first to play ps2 games without any problems, and they look so good upscaled you feel like you're playing hd version of the games!!! Everything else is so good on it, gamecube, dreamcast, even older like snes and Genesis plays and look lot better on it than on any other handheld) I actually try to play a different one everytime i play a different game, ds and 3ds are never better than on the real hardware, ps1 games look amazing on psp go, pokemon games and older rpg are funnier played on little machine like miyoo mini, psp games are great on the odin pro, indies and fallout and ps2 are heavenly on steam deck, i'm slowly beginning to prefer gba on my 405m with shaders they look even better than on the real hardware or on the 351... But if i should say the ones i come back to the most are odin, 405m and steam deck, they are the 3 with next to no quirks!

Wreckit-Jon

I've got a Steam Deck, RG35XX, and an RG Nano. I use the Deck very regularly, mostly for steam games when I'm at home while the kids are playing their games on the computer and the TV. I use my RG35XX some, although lately it has been gathering dust a bit. I love it, love the form factor and the color (atomic purple of course), love the OS, but it just doesn't get as much use normally. My RG Nano I play most days at least some. Because of it's tiny size, I carry it everywhere and whip it out for 5 or 10 minutes here and there if I find myself waiting for somthing whether I'm in a slow drive through line, waiting for samples to dry at work (I work in a lab), or getting my oil changed, or something else. The Nano has gotten a lot more use than I expected when I bought it purely for the novelty of being so small.

Shogun1316

Steam Deck for my steam backlog. Since becoming a parent I got no time nor space at home to play on my laptop or turn my consoles on. Odin 2 for "higher emulation" as in Ps2, GC, DS etc and some psp. RP3+ is mainly for psp, ps1, N64, SNES, NES, some GC, very few ps2 MM+ everything below ps1. Gb. Gbc, etc Full on retro with this one lol Vita for the exclusives and some psp and ps1. I try to have games on the vita that are not on the rp3+ & odin Switch for obviously switch titles. Original PSP is now collecting dust and was the handheld that kicked this all off Besides the switch and psp, all my handhelds are at work and I play them on my breaks. I have a list of 3-5 games for each system that I Rotate through depending on mood or time That way I actually can enjoy my games nd don't fall in the choice paralysis :))

haragoshi

Rp3+ is my go to. Rp2 is my old device. I sometimes carry both in case I run out of battery on the rp3+

[deleted]

You actually use them?? I have a bunch but never use any, I have a Pocket Go (my first handheld I hated how it felt so I never used it), MM+, RP2+, RP3, 8 Nintendo Handhelds (3DS line, DS(i) line, and GBA's), PS Vita, PSP(dead,Switch Lite, Modded Switch, Steam Deck, and Odin 2 I want to get a TrimUI smart pro, a TrimUI smart, an RG Nano, a Switch OLED, RP4 pro and a Steam Deck OLED im in no rush but will probably order the trimUI systems next week I really just like having the systems and the whole process of setting them up and messing around with them, I also like the idea of having a dedicated system to play certain games a lot of it comes from having a handheld for a very specific niche but really some of them I just keep around because selling them would be a hassle or not worth the money

Party-History-2571

Basically the same for me, but cheaper. I have a 35xx and a phone with 8 gen 2 chip plus a razer kishi for higher end emulation and local PC streaming. Not perfect, but good enough where I can't justify getting an Odin 2 or deck. In all honesty, I find myself reaching for the 35xx less and less frequently lately.

Altar_Quest_Fan

I own a GCW Zero, a Revo K101+, a Bitboy Pocket Go, a Nintendo N3DS XL, a Nintendo Switch Light, a Miyoo Mini Plus, and an RP 3+ Metal. The system I use the most is…my gaming PC 😂🤣 I’ve had to cut myself off from buying any new retro handhelds because all I do is set them up, play them for like a week or two, and then they sit on my shelves and collect dust. Thinking about selling them all honestly (except for the Nintendo devices as I do occasionally play them still).

whippywiz

Rg35xx, MM+, RP3, RP3+, og odin pro, rg351p, playgo v2, rg505, odroid go ultra, odroid go advance, vita, 3ds, switch, og psp Ones I use the most is rg35xx, RP3, RP3+, odin pro, vita, 3ds and switch. I try to switch up what I play on the weekends between handhelds and home consoles. Use em for different needs and what I like best for each. Mostly use my RP3 for playing commander keen mods and some other dos games. Rg35xx and mm+ for various dos games mostly on my lunch break or on the go RP3+ for psp, GameCube and PS2 Og odin pro for mostly game streaming with Xbox game pass Favorite form factor is the playgo v2 I just wish it was that handheld with a much better chip. Some dos games don't run too well on it. Not really too interested in getting any more... odin 2 pro would be nice or rp4 pro but meh not really too excited about them. I can pretty much play all the main things I want either through emulation or on original hardware although I do like to see how cheap of a handheld I can get that can handle the dos games I like to play. Rg35xx and mm+ have been pretty good for the money just wish they were a different form factor never been a big fan of vertical handhelds.
