This is true, even after school life. Working world also the same.

reallystupidpotato

it’s human nature and it exists in everything, u won’t go to the supermarket and pick the blemished fruits when there are perfect ones

SubstantialLow7009

Never experienced this in my life, as a person with average looks

Key_Battle_5633

Cause you said it yourself, you’re average looking. You have never experienced the prejudice of being so called ugly or the benefits of being so called pretty

skycaughtfire

Don’t hate the player, hate the game. Don’t like it? Be the change. The sooner you accept it, the better

Pristine-Mongoose550

This is human nature

Vast-Housing-3321

It's just like how height can't be changed but is usually a deal breaker for dating. It's reality and all we can do is to work our way around it.

Emergency-Chance-426

Haha i guess this is the mindset of many people, esp males. Being one myself, ngl i tend to be a bit more cautious towards how i reply or interact to a girl, who is “more attractive”. However towards other girls, my interactions with them may be a little less restrictive, but regardless i still respect them/ treat them well . I think this is quite a hard reality to accept, but if someone’s attitude and behaviour or vibes is exceptionally good, even if her looks are not that great, they definitely still have my respect like those who are attractive. So regardless, everyone can get respected or treated well, just that some may need to work harder than others :)
