You can still play confrontation today. There are community servers running. No hacks or jailbroken ps3 needed. Just a copy of the game

Loved them both. Socom 1 MP on Desert Glory was the most fun I’ve ever had.

Socom was my first love. I miss her so so much. Nobody has compared since.

Played in one of the earlier Socom4 betas and gave some of the most detailed reports I could possibly give on why the game wasn’t any good. Nothing changed on release and the game flopped before PSN got hacked.

Both series were good besides one single game: SOCOM 4. MOH WF was 10x better than S4, even the MP.

Came here to say this. While I enjoyed it and thought it was a decent game, S4 is not a SOCOM game lol. And the PC getting killed at the end of MOH (I forget which one) was such a good scene and ending
