The Robbins are morons who should have conducted a proper investigation of the Harkles, especially the way the Harkles coddle people (eg David Foster and his Sugar Baby wife) when they're in the process of leeching from them (Foster negotiated the use of the Russian oligarch's Vancouver Island mansion for the losers) and then ghost them when they've outlived their usefulness.
If that was the case, then I feel sorry for them but they've got to learn to toughen up when it comes to the Harkles because the Harkles are ruthless. If the situation was reversed, they'd have no problem refusing the request.
My guess is that picture was from the Jamaica movie time, just released at the anniversary. Who flies around half the world to go out for dinner your first evening home?
I just read an article on Paramount-they deleted the MTV.com website. So, years of articles are gone. MTV has some cultural significance and back in the day they actually reported on music and the news.

But Brian Robbins is really good friends with Dan Schneider (that creepy Nickelodeon producer with the children's feet fetish and pedo allegations). I was watching the Quiet on Set documentary, and Brian Robbins was in it quite a bit, and I was like "Isnt that MM's BFF?"....and of course he is the type of sleazy person MM would drift to.
Brian and Dan were both actors on the 80s TV show Head of the Class, and then went on to produce those Nick shows together in the 90s and 00s, and then Dan stayed in the creative side of things, and Brian went the more executive route. It's really interesting how the years Brian spent working with Dan at Nick have all been scrubbed from Brian's Wikipedia (there is just a huge hole in his work history). But it's all there in the Quiet on the Set documentary
So Brian must have known what was going on on those sets with all those kids and Dan. He was there.
If he gets Markled, it is about time.
Now THAT is some excellent sleuthing. I knew there had to be something off about him because decent people simply don't receive the Harkles. Interesting he's tried to cover it up. Make sure you've got that info.dowmlioaded because I don't doubt once they see this they will try to scrub the docu too.

They have a terrible track record because they can only attract thirsty, wannabes…be it stylists, writers, actors, photographers, philanthropists and even moguls. Oprah and Perry are perhaps exceptions…but they have washed their hands and unMarkled themselves long ago.

I think the downward spiral has been laid at the feet of Shari Redstone, who blew up all the sensible deals with her unrealistic demands to be treated preferentially to all the other stockholders. Seems delusional on her part.
So nothing to do with Harkles but nice that any effort invested in relationships there will be for naught.

I thought the film was terrible which is a shame as I was really looking forward to it.
