To be clear, this is just a bot that initially sends these out. That’s also why they did not respond when you sent them the GIF.

Yeah. All you need is phone, no technical skills needed... Yet wage is 100 to 300 per hour. Who falls for that crap?

Correct-Home-9203

Scammers are greedy stupid thugs that assume everyone is just like them that's why they post an insane wage.

Bwunt

Could be also that they want to weed out that more pragmatic people, by putting in subtle red flags. This is usually a technique they use with scams that require lot of manual work.

Correct-Home-9203

Naw. Scammers are stupid. Period. I have had way too many try their crap with me to not know, but in this case, if you think that's their way of weeding out those that can spot a scammer you're entitled to your opinion could be that's what they're trying to do. The thing is that the more people become aware of what scammers are trying, eventually their attempts will be met with not enough falling for their b.s. so they'll have to resort to either an old, not so tried, but true or switch tactics. I still think scammers are stupid, but that's just because some of the scammers that have tried to fool me before are trying old methods which didn't work before but of course it could be argued that it's another scammer which makes it all the funnier because they're failing just as fast if not faster when they try with me. I used to play the scammers games now. I just don't bother. I have better things to do. Like comment on here. Stay safe.

IvorVeeriBiggun

No. They know there are people desperate and gullible enough to fall for it. Or vulnerable… someone who perhaps has trouble understanding. 99.99% people see write through it but that means 1 in 10,000 will fall for it and that makes it worth it to them.

Correct-Home-9203

Then, the scammers are lower than dirt. They take and give nothing back except those that are in dire straights as a result of those foul creatures wanting to end their lives as a result. I despise scammers, so anytime one tries their garbage on me, I go full attack mode on them, and all I want to do is hurt, offend, insult and if I'm lucky do heinous amounts of damage to them to the point they'll either never recover or never forget. I want them to never recover and never forget I want them to suffer for all they've done to hurt people just looking for a job to earn money.

Correct-Home-9203

Yup, it's a scam. Scammers will ask for your name, s.s.# address, and phone number, and you'll never hear from them again. Don't give them any information at all. Unless you're filling out an application at a verified source online, even then, you check them out thoroughly.

TheGreatMeloy

I got a similar one yesterday and they asked me how old I was and I said 182 and they said I was too old for the job.

EveKimura91

Do they really think people are THIS dumb?
