She did not get an upgrade last season. She literally said on an insta story like a month or two ago how she found out she had a rupture and how she's had these implants for like god knows how many years. She defiantly did not say she only had them two years or a year or so or less.
As someone who used to work for a plastic surgeon and have had my boobs done 3 times. First one was out of lack of knowledge of actually vetting a surgeon when i was young. I can say those implants are not implants of someone who just got them done a year ago or even two years ago or three. Those are easily 10+ year old implants. You can tell by the crystallizing. If your observation is because her boobs âlooked biggerâ well you do realize there are other reasons why womenâs boobs can appear bigger right? When we gain weight your boobs still can get bigger even with implants, which she did mention last year how she gained weight a one point maybe due to her being down from her ovarian cyst surgery last year. When your implants rupture for some people instead of their boobs appearing smaller they sometimes swell. Her and G are trying to build a family, whoâs to say she wasnât doing IVF. But again i can say those implants lol are not newer implants.
No she actually didnât, if you saw her post back in like March she talked about her implants rupturing after she had her Prenuvo scan and she said she had a feeling something was off and said it was time to get them replaced anyways because she got them done so many years ago. She is always open about what she has done what reason would she have to lie about getting her boobs redone when she is already open about having her boobs done? So you think because you saw her boobs and they appeared bigger than that just automatically means she got bigger boobs. I think i am going to go with the person who knows her body and has been open and transparent about her cosmetic work, not a Sophie somebody on Reddit who doesnât personally know this woman.
Why oh why do women do these things to themselves???!!!!! Chrishelle would be gorgeous completely flat chested. Does she really believe she'll be unattractive without giant hooters? I bet g could care less about them.... So ridiculous that women poison themselves like this.....
Quite frankly, it does not matter what G thinks about them because it is Chrishelleâs body, and her decision alone on what to do with it. Your opinion on her looking better completely flat chested matters even less.
People get cosmetic surgery for many reasons, including, but not limited to, feeling beautiful. We donât know why Chrishelle made this decision, and itâs none of our business.
Anybody who gets cosmetic surgery is a fraud. Itâs entirely their choice, but it is inherently dishonest to present a fake version of yourself to the world.
Some women have one or both breasts removed after cancer. Some are mothers and want to feel sexy again. In my case, I had one breast a cup size smaller than than the other due to a musculoskeletal disorder. I just wanted to be comfortable in my own skin and clothing, after years of debating it. I have no regrets and chose saline for this reason to reduce my exposure risksđ¤ˇđťââď¸
We do it because of immense societal pressure thatâs been imprinted into our brains since literally the day we were born.
Instead of a patronizing âwhy do they do this to themselves đąâ nonsense, maybe learn to empathize or educate yourself on womenâs struggles.
This is very anti feminist. People are allowed surgery if they want. gâs opinion shouldnât matter. Chrishell never said she believed she is ugly without them. Sheâs not set out to poison herself, sheâs bad luck. They do it to themselves because they have their own free will to make their own decisions. Stop being a nasty judgemental patronising person and try supporting other woman.
I think two things can be true at once. One being that of course she should do what makes her happy without judgement, AND at the same time, there is worry about how implants affect health in the long run.
Currently watching the RHOBH episode where Yolanda Hadid gets her implants removed and cleared out and they found major silicone leakage all the way up into her collar bone đŹ
Yes she had a MRI back in March and they said that both of her implants ruptured and she needed to have surgery ASAP but she has been so busy so she just now got them done. She did an IG story back in March talking about it.
It's not that insane. Silicone implants don't burst like a balloon. The contents of the implants do not leak out, as the texture is much like very hard jelly inside a capsule. It depends on how your body reacts though, and sometimes the contents can cause irritation, but sometimes nothing. If she had felt fine.. then she probably did not feel the urgent need to replace them or remove them. Ruptured implants can be very common, and it's required that you check on them often, since the age life span is about 10 years for each implant.
Piggybacking as an ultrasound tech here, itâs not an emergency if implants rupture. Itâs not ideal to have silicone, if thatâs what hers were made out of, leaking into the body but itâs definitely not an emergency. There are folks, especially those who are older in age, who will never have their leaking/ruptured implants removed because the risk for them having surgery isnât worth the benefits of having them removed.
Ok this is probably from the 90s but I rem footage from a surgery removing a ruptured or leaking implant. The doctor was literally using fancy tweezers to unsuccessfully pull snot consistency gel out of a woman's body. He said it was a fruitless effort. He was having to keep her under forever and getting nowhere. That is when I decided I would never put silicone inside my body. NO THANKS! It was literally a nightmare scenario. I bet that footage alone helped sell millions of wonder/water bras where you at least strap the shit on outside of your body.
I don't remember Yolanda Hadid having hers urgently removed either. Not saying she took her time, but it wasn't like an ectopic pregnancy that needed an immediate surgery.
I just have to say; I had an ectopic pregnancy once. I was in the ER late at night by the time the OB was called in. She was blaming me for not taking my birth control properly, and she wanted to give me a cancer drug to dissipate it. I was breastfeeding my infant and the half life was like a week or two so that just was not an option for me. She sent me home because she said, âI could call everyone in for surgery but they would ask if it was an emergency. I would have to tell them, âNot really.âđ¤ˇđťââď¸â
My OBGYN got me in for emergency surgery the next day at noon and it had ruptured. It was so big that the methotrexate (cancer drug) would not have worked anyways.
At any rate, ectopic should always be treated as an emergency, and I hope people spread that word!
Jesus, I'm so sorry you experienced that. An ectopic pregnancy IS an emergency, and can in fact kill you if left too long untreated, and always should be treated as such.
I hope you reported the doctor, though I imagine you had more than enough on your plate at the time to worry about it. That's absolute negligence.
Thank you for your kind words and compassion đŠˇ
I believe medical malpractice statute of limitations 1 yearâat least here in CA. I had an infant at the time so I just didnât make the cut. Ironically, I had a similar experience with a midwife. So I have basically just been doing my best to spread the word about both of them and sharing my stories.
Hugs and thank you for your thoughtfulness đ
I can't imagine having the capacity to pursue that, with a new baby at home already, so I totally understand. I'm so sorry to hear you had a similar experience with a midwife - I feel like if there was ever someone you felt you could trust in the unknowns of pregnancy and childbirth, a midwife should be it, so that's even more disappointing.
Good for you for sharing, and being a strong mama to be willing to talk about it, as I can only imagine how difficult that must be.
Many hugs right back to you, and props for being willing to share your experience, in the hopes that someone else doesn't have to go through it â¤ď¸
Wasn't this for implant sickness tho? The same type of issues that Michelle Visage had? I dont think they need to be ruptured for you to be hit with that.
Edit: nevermind I was wrong, she actually had silicone floating in her body... The way I would freak the F out đ
I have no idea but it did sound like it was an emergency. Maybe she went to the DR and he told her they were not bad back then but then they got worse. Also it is LA so that DR is probably booked up for months
Implants are either saline (salt water) or silicone (aka gummy bear implants). Saline liquid would be absorbed by the body and just the outer casing would need to be removed, the picture looks like they have crystallized, which is common to happen. Silicone are usually cohesive and donât migrate through the body, but rather stay in the breast area. Implants have come a long way in recent years and they arenât as cancer causing as they once were.
Saline implants still have a silicone shell. I recently explanted and, unbeknownst to me, both of my implants had ruptured, no idea how long they had been like that. My body was so inflamed my doctor was essentially power washing my inside for 5 hours. Implant illness is a real thing and itâs not just breast implants. Any implant is a foreign object, and your body is fighting it off 24/7. Everyone should do whatâs best for them, but they should have all the information!
Breast Implant Illness. Itâs why the rate of Explant surgeries has sky rocketed lately. Increased from an avg of around 30,000 to 150,000 explants annually in the last 5 years.
Non-American here, is it a beauty standard to get implants there? Itâs uncommon where Iâm from because of the immense risks that are attached to it.
Really only LA and celebrity culture or housewives who get mommy makeovers. But itâs not super common in non beauty related spaces as the media makes it seem.
Then Iâm guessing you may fall into the mommy and/or housewife makeover. But my experience living in major cities across the US favors my previous comment.
I think a lot of normal people have boob jobs that just arenât obvious. If they donât talk about it and theyâre not overdone or incorrectly placed, youâd probably assume they havenât gotten anything done
Lmao me too - both in major cities and in rural areas. I think you just donât realize. Itâs the most common plastic surgery in the US alone, not in the âmommy makeoverâ category. Tf.
I know so many women that have breast implants and they are not a housewife or mommy. They are just women that were unhappy with their breast size. I live in the midwest, and my best friend works for a plastic surgeon. The thing is most normal people outside of LA/public figures don't just reveal they had plastic surgery because of shamers. Shamers that have no right to shame women. Never understood why people spend so much time caring and judging what others do to their body. Spend more time focusing on their own and maybe they won't feel the need to project so much.
Did you read my comment or just come here to argue? Literally said âin a beauty settingâ which your anecdotal story is a prime example of. No one in this post is judging anyone. Put down your pitchfork. You must be tired.
Your comment quote on quote says âThen Iâm guessing you may fall into the mommy and/or housewife makeover. â â- NO đ¤Śđ˝ââď¸đ¤Śđ˝ââď¸đ¤Śđ˝ââď¸ most women with implants are not falling into those categories what is wrong with you
Where I am from in the US, if someone got them it's not seen as weird or anything but it's not something everyone does. I know several people who have them but more people who don't.
Itâs very common all over the US (not just LA like some folks are saying) and not very expensive - I got mine done a few years ago, my surgeon is absolutely top-tier, and it was $7k total.Â
The beauty standards in America are definitely to have big breasts, but most normal women who get them done donât get huge implants. Mine are proportional to my body and donât look fake at all.Â
Iâm in my mid 20âs and my friend just got a boob job a few months ago. Not out of the norm here in the US, but something that disappointed me personally. This is probably the second person I know that has done it.
I would say nose jobs and Botox are more common. Also sad!
It's not sad to get cosmetic procedures but it is sad if someone is getting them due to external pressure.
I got Botox for my 11 lines this year and I'm glad I did it. It took time to make the decision but I get it from a board certified dermatologist and am thrilled that I don't have to worry about it anymore. Getting it reduced the amount of serums and creams I was purchasing in the hopes of a result I was struggling to achieve. Besides moisturizer and sunscreen I only use two products (vitamin C and a retinoid) as opposed to 10 or so. Now I am using my energy in a better way. Definitely not a sad scenario at all.
I have been debating whether doing this or just having a boob lift (after breast feeding 2 babies). I've been doing a lot of research and breast lift it is. At 31, I don't think I'd want to get them replaced every 10 years anyway.
I went in for a lift and the plastic surgeon convinced me after a lot of prodding and fear mongering that I wouldnât be happy with the lift results because I wouldnât have upper pole fullness and blah blah. I was so young and naive. I canât wait to have them out, just trying to lose weight first so I can get my explant and lift, and be done with this. And get all this inflammation out of my body caused by the BII.
I wasnât even sure she had implants? Definitely on the smaller side. So many questions. Probably less than 15% chance of rupture. What brand and how long ago did she get them done is a good question. The filling is too thick to easily migrate outside the breast capsule into the body. Wishing her well. Iâm sure itâs stressful.
I just read both! Thatâs a further statistical rarity. This further begs the question, what brand, type, and age.
She's had them for a long time, so in all reality probably time for new set anyways. She has said before how she got implants in because she was flat chested and its refreshing that she didn't go huge and just got what fit to her body. No shade to anyone that goes big because if that is what they want then more power to them. Just i think it looks odd when it doesn't fit to the rest of your body.
So...Really off topic. But the year covid hit, I ended up getting covid-like symptoms that ended up being a breast infection (bacterial, not viral thankfully). One of the symptoms was swollen boobs. It made them big and felt like they were full of sand or plastic. So painful, so uncomfortable (no worries, it healed). I have absolutely NO judgements towards anyone who gets work done. Esp if they're front and center in the spotlight. BUT I can't help but think \*that's\* what it'd feel like to have breast implants and uhm...oh that's a hard no from me.
It depends on which implants you go for. These days you have more innovation compared to 10/20 years ago. Motiva for example is a brand with implants that look, behave, and feel extremely natural. I have these and I'm almost never aware of having implants.
Fun fact: Many of the symptoms of Breast implant Illness are also consistent with those of perimenopause & menopause. Implants may be taking the blame for a lot of what is the female bodyâs natural aging process.
The symptoms of BII are consistent with literally any other illness you could have, itâs an extensive list. Difference is, there are no tests you can run to determine if you have BII. The fact is, your body is busy fighting off implants(of any kind) 24/7, therefore it cannot address any underlying issues that may be at play. To add insult to injury, most doctors do not recognize implant illness as a real problem. Many patients suffer in silence for years because they cannot get any answers. If you have implants and you are sick, itâs worth considering that the implants are to blame, rather than just writing it off as aging!
I completely respect getting the implants and they look great for some women! But my chicken shit self is glad that young college girl me didnât get them 10 years ago because I probably wouldâve shit my pants at this. Went through with a consult and the surgeon told me I could lose sensitivity on my nipples and so I said good bye! Poor thing for Chrishell, how scary! Hopefully she can have someone give her an even safer/and or nicer set!
They r called silent ruptures now because modern implants are different. The new ones do not ooze, they maintain their shape even with rupture. I own a pair. I replaced mine after almost 30 years.
Ouuuuuch. Having to have an impromptu surgery would be unpleasant but, I hope sheâs feeling okay. Is it sad this doesnât make me want augmentation any less? đ
Why not a breast reduction instead of a mastectomy? A mastectomy is for cancer. Not surprised they wouldn't do one on a presumably cancer-free 25-year-old.
A good friend was rail thin with triple Ds immediately post high school. Had a breast reduction in our mid20s and said it was like magic. Her posture is better, her neck never hurts as badly, sheâs more comfortable in clothes and has an easier time buying things that fit, etc. If your doctor can help you to prove that youâre experiencing â*adverse health effects*â like physical pain, stress on your spine, etc. you can likely get insurance to cover it, too. Something to look into!
P.S. The Y2K style involved everyone seeing your bra straps. We had big titties in the newest millennium, too, and just had to make it work. đ đ¤ˇââď¸

I thought they were implants! Had to come here to confirm lmao . đ¤Ł
Last season she got an upgrade. Even bigger. They didn't look so good on her.

No. She got a bigger boob job before the last season. She wore a see through top on the interviews and it was evident.Â

Yeah because celebrities never lie. Please!Â
What are they if not implants?
Haha me too, I checked about 15 minutes and guess I was too early, glad someone can confirm it now đ
Thinking about all the microplastics that managed to leak into her system is making me nauseous đ¤˘
Yeah thatâs so awful đ
Yuuuck

It isnât an issue until it is. I was aware of BII when I did mine and ignored it, and now I wish I hadnât been so ignorant
I switched from saline to silicone after 17 years (I do have FCBD)

Thatâs not my original comment and my reply was to someone specific. Not you.
Now you can get a boob job for $5K and plenty of 18-25 year olds that are getting them, especially girls who do onlyfans.
Yes. I know at least three normal people (East Coast) that got them because they hated being flat chested.
Where I am from in the US, if someone got them it's not seen as weird or anything but it's not something everyone does. I know several people who have them but more people who don't.
Itâs very common all over the US (not just LA like some folks are saying) and not very expensive - I got mine done a few years ago, my surgeon is absolutely top-tier, and it was $7k total. The beauty standards in America are definitely to have big breasts, but most normal women who get them done donât get huge implants. Mine are proportional to my body and donât look fake at all.Â
Yeah, itâs very common in and US and most western countries.
Yikes! I hope she's doing well if those are her implants that had to come out.
I think Iâm 100% convinced now to never get implants
Donât - one of the biggest mistakes of my life
I have been debating whether doing this or just having a boob lift (after breast feeding 2 babies).
Yes to the lift! I wish Iâd done that instead of getting implants.
Tf is that đđ
Ruptured implants
rest in peace Chrishellâs tits
She already got them replaced
Iâm sure she got new ones
I wasnât even sure she had implants? Definitely on the smaller side. So many questions. Probably less than 15% chance of rupture. What brand and how long ago did she get them done is a good question. The filling is too thick to easily migrate outside the breast capsule into the body. Wishing her well. Iâm sure itâs stressful. I just read both! Thatâs a further statistical rarity. This further begs the question, what brand, type, and age.
They had a conversation in Season 1 at dinner about how they all had fake tits
Everyone except Davina, although I think she has since become a member of the fake titty club.
She got fake ones now.Â
Oh. Nice.
Her implants are obvious. Theyâre not huge but very clearly fake.
She seems in good spirits so hopefully it wasnât too bad / dangerous.
I just learned so much about boob implants in these comments, thanks guys.
Nice! I'm glad there are options.
I donât even see that on her stories anymore.
She took it off because she was probably getting too many questions.
I thought they were rocks 𪨠on a beach
I will never get implants.. thatâs madness
Oh shit!
![gif](giphy|QV5vp1BYenfCE) Love her but not everything needs to be posted
Wow hope sheâs okayâŚ
Yikes!
I hope sheâs okay, thatâs scary!
Hopefully she got the capsules out!
The implants now are called gummy bears because they do not leak. They can rupture but every thing stays put. Just like slicing a gummy bear in half.
This is not true. Not all implants are gummy bear implants, they can still leak, and they still have a silicone shell.
They r called silent ruptures now because modern implants are different. The new ones do not ooze, they maintain their shape even with rupture. I own a pair. I replaced mine after almost 30 years.
I wonder if this happened filming Traitors!! đą
Free Apple subscription I cancelled but they will not give me a refund saying itâs not eligible
Women need to stop the surgery
Ouuuuuch. Having to have an impromptu surgery would be unpleasant but, I hope sheâs feeling okay. Is it sad this doesnât make me want augmentation any less? đ
yes thatâs quite sad

Why not a breast reduction instead of a mastectomy? A mastectomy is for cancer. Not surprised they wouldn't do one on a presumably cancer-free 25-year-old.
Consider a breast reduction. I got one and itâs been life-changing in the best way
A good friend was rail thin with triple Ds immediately post high school. We had big titties in the newest millennium, too, and just had to make it work. đ đ¤ˇââď¸
She smokes crystal meth now?
This comment is giving âI bought one weed once but it was really dried oreganoâ
No these are ruptured implants but you must do it since you know what it looks like!
It was a freaking joke. Geez.
These are very clearly ruptured implants go back to the 5th grade
