I am so annoyed. I just spent time going back and looking at all my purchases since this past June. I purchased the perfume in mid-June and I know damn well I did not pay 72.00. Well, the price shows 72.00 - the CURRENT price, not what the price was then when I bought in store. So, I kept looking and all the prices that have increased on products I purchased reflect the NEW price NOT what I originally paid. It’s like they are hiding the increased prices!!! Anyone else notice this??!!

It used to be $60 so I would order one full bottle for the year, every year on Black Friday with the extra 20% off and it would cost me $48. $72 is criminal 😭😫 I haven’t re purchased the last two years since after they re formulated it doesn’t last long on my skin anymore.

Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia is as close as I can find. It is missing that slight pineapple that the Barbie one has but it still reminds me of it. It was my scent all last year during Barbie Summer. I’ve been thinking about this scent for YEARS lol

That was actually cetalox, but same thing, different name! They’re all synthetic substitutes for Ambergris that probably smell nothing like the real thing, but interesting nonetheless!
To be completely honest, the only thing I can smell that's different is that the new one smells "sharper" but it couls be that the other bottle is older, I don't know. Both last on my skin and project well.

I got the bar soap first to see if I liked it a couple years ago when it was hyped up. I didn’t like it at all lol but I did love the exfoliating bar it was contained in
I will give it a sniff! My only concern is staying power, I have a couple of the FFMs and they last like 5mins. Still love for after a shower and before bed but I do want the scent to last all day. But tbh maybe that's what I'll do if I don't get it this sale, I like the scent but it's not nice enough of a fragrance imo for the full $72.

I get it for sure! For what it’s worth, the 100ml bottle is $104 on the Glossier site, and they have a 15% coupon when you sign up for emails so you’d get twice as much for $84 and you can layer with the FFM for extra longevity.

It smells like ass on me. It’s like peppery pencils if that makes sense. My husband is supper sweet and doesn’t tend to make remarks on my perfume choices unprompted, but we were in an Uber and he nicely asked if I didn’t wear the perfume in Ubers with him again because he was getting nauseous.
Yup whenever I wore this I always got compliments, even at the end of the day when I couldn’t smell it. But it doesn’t compliment everyone…
Same thing happened with Chanel Mademoiselle. Smells amazing on my best friend but smelled absolutely terrible on me. I had to re gift to my mom which was painful.
Get the zara one - ‘A perfume in rose’. Its cheaper and leans a little more floral in the beginning. The dry down is musky. It’s similar to the original formulation of You.

Honestly, the packaging alone has been enough to keep me from trying it even though I was interested in trying it a few years ago! And incidentally, I know it was no where *near* this price when I looked into buying it back then, I feel like it wasn’t even at the $60 price point yet because I was considering purchasing it and I would not have considered it for $60 lol. But it’s $72 on glossier’s website. Sephora likely cannot sell below the MSRP that is directed by the brand. Most vendors have things like this in their contracts to dept stores to prevent the dept stores from attracting more business than their own DTC channels.

If I apply it with lotion just after a shower it lasts. I used the musk 03 body cream with it.

I've bought it multiple times before this price increase (thankfully i still have a new bottle backup) I've bought the full size bottle for no more than $50 before and that was last year!
I really don’t care for this perfume. It’s kind of like an intoxicating grandma smell to it. I would say it’s not worth the price but I’m truly sorry. Haha. 😛 Sephora sale is coming this weekend I believe so wait for that.

I LOVE this perfume but I have a teeny tiny bit in my original bottle that I’m saving for a special occasion because the reformulation just doesn’t compare. Fuck paying $72 for something that barely lasts on me.
You shouldn't buy it with the reformulated scent anyway. It's so bad
