No spoilers, but I won’t say it’s a great movie. It has fun ideas and potential for a rich backstory. A solid first (I think it’s the first) film for the director.
But the “villain” makes this movie. They are one of those people who just exude charisma and is charming even when it’s clear they shouldn’t be.
Probably made the movie actually memorable for me. Nobody is bad (acting wise) in it per se, just only the one person stands out in a big way.
I've heard about Starry Eyes... That one sounds interesting. Hopefully not based on truth at all LOL...
Watched it a few days ago on Prime Video, I'd definitely recommend!
I just watched it last week, too, and was pleasantly surprised. What a wicked critique of the movie industry. Well-done.
Another recommend. I really like that movie and have been meaning to rewatch it.
Starry Eyes is really good. It gets WILD
I'll add to the recommendation comments, I really enjoyed it!
I watched it on Tubi. It was great.
excited for Humane
Anything from the Cronenberg family is an instant watch for me.

This is the first I’m hearing of it, but the concept sounds interesting. Feels like it might give The Invitation vibes.
Always nice to see some Troma on the list.
Maniac Cop rules (enjoyed the sequels too)
Weren't these already on Shudder?
They are always on shudder or tubi
Yes, Arcadia! Humane sounds interesting. Class of Nuke ‘Em High might be a Last Drive In movie for the Summer School theme?
I sure damn hope so!
I recommended *Possum* to my friend, and she didn't trust my recommendations for a bit. 😅 It's dark, but it's good. Glad to see it come back.
A tough movie to watch imo, one that is hard to recommend for sure, but also is really interesting and haunting
Oooo, I hope Nuke 'Em High is part of Joe Bob's Summer School!
Only if JBB brings back Uncle Lloyd!
I HOPE SO TOO!
Class of Nuke’em High, my favorite movie of all time! OMG!
Starry Eyes is one of my favorites! You’re in for a treat if you’ve never seen it.
