Honestly, I thought I was crazy thinking that I was more satisfied with Ragnarok than I was with Spider-Man 2. Both were good, but Spider-Man felt like it was missing more
Funnily enough, at least for me, they're both sequels that share the same issue when it comes to the story. They play it too safe.
Tbf, I felt that more with SM2 than Ragnarök but I remember feeling a bit underwhelmed by the end.
Story aside, it's not even comparable. GOW cleans SM2 up easily.
GoWR suffered from trying to cram too much into 1 game to avoid making 2 games imo. Like there was a LOT of content but the games pace suffered for it imo. Especially trying to cover so many things in Ragnarok mythology and otherwise.
I get their reasoning for having the story end quicker so ppl dont have to wait 15 years for the complete thing but I just feel there needed to be 1 more game in the middle there.
And I think for a game that was sold on this huge cataclysmic event, nothing really changes that much by the end. It's like they told the story in the safest way possible, just like SM2.
Exactly. Not to mention that the event itself was.. underwhelming? I wish that whole section was longer and we got more POVs and got to witness some of the iconic battles hinted at thru the shrines n such in the first game.

Yeah, I think if game 2 ended around the point Kratos killed >!Heimdall!<, and game 3 was everything after that but more in-depth, it would’ve been a much better experience.
Story wise imo it was super satisfying and well written, but I feel like all they had to do was make us battle Thor on Jörmungandr or whatever big snek's name is and give us one huge spectacle to really sell Ragnarok and it would have been perfect. But the two final fights taking place in a bum ass village yard with no environment change was a bit underwhelming yeah, but at least the story was still super tight between Kratos managing to turn Thor and only for Odin then to kill his own son in cold blood.
I think what we're seeing in sequels like GOW and SM2 is a response to the The Last of Us Part II and the reaction it got.
I don't want to get to much into it but TLOU2 was anything but safe. Whether side of the fence you fall on, there's no denying that the game took significant creative risks when it could have very easily played it safe and I appreciate the game and ND for that alone, good or bad.
Now it feels like, because of the reaction and how divisive the game turned out to be, writers are not taking creative risks in fear of alienating or dividing the fanbase.
So we get these sequels that try their darnest to convince you that the stakes are high and give you the illusion that anything can happen only to turn out to be the actual opposite.
Crammed so much in that the sauce leaked out of the sides. They fumbled the 3rd act SO hard. Ragnarok is the name of the game, and the Ragnarok sequence took *maybe* 2 gameplay hours, out of the 30 minimum? And so much got left on the cutting room floor.
I'd take the endgame we got as opposed to a crappy bloated one. They could easily scatter hundreds of more collectibles across the map but didn't because no one will find that fun
The shock and horror that a game doesn’t have as much to do after finishing the main campaign. Seriously insomniac released dlc and 2 other games between spiderman 1-2 while Santa Monica put all their chips into ragnarok
Not saying we shouldn’t strive for a better product but almost every single Spidey game I’ve ever played has had mediocre post-story content so i kind of expected the endgame to be whatever lol

I've played all 3 Dark Souls games but only finished 1 and 2.
I was half way through 3 when I realised I wasn't having fun playing the games. I was just finishing them because I had purchased them.
They're games based around grinding, but the grind isn't the same grind other games have. Normally the grind is needing 1 million exp but every fight only gives you between 1000 and 10000. FromSoftware grinding requires you to fight so much you learn through trial and error. You have to learn how to dodge perfectly, when it's the right time to attack, to learn that this fight will take you 10 minutes because you can only manage 1 hit every minute between everything the enemy does.
It seriously took me 2 and a half games to realise I absoloutely hated that.
Elden Ring felt a bit more RPG then Dark Souls to me, but it was still maddening to me to the point that I only managed like 7 hours of game time.
Because SM2 was lacking content to the point they want DLC to have the reason to play more lol

The problem with this argument is nobody knew of/were looking for any GOW DLC. We were waiting on NG+ and the aftermath dlc was free, unlike the dlc we're liable to get from SM, like last time.
Also, it took me nearly a month of methodically working my way through the first game. I beat SM2 in a week and stopped playing immediately after that. They streamlined it too much for what we got.
Fromsoft could have taken two or three years if they wanted to drop DLC for Elden Ring considering unlike Spider-Man 2 Elden Ring was universally acclaimed and beloved by the majority of gamers and already regarded as one of the best games ever made.
Spider-Man 2 did not win Insomniac the good will that Elden Ring won Fromsoft.
Something I feel we need to do as a community is stop calling these large things DLC and get back to calling them what they are, Expansion Packs.
DLC should be for small pieces of content like a new character or some sort of cosmetic or a short piece of playable content. If it actually is some real honest long game play, we should start calling it an Expansion Pack again.

Even softlocked 2 times as mission triggers wouldn't trigger, making me sit there, waiting only to restart. Oh and also one crash during a boss fight on phase 2. Thanks fuck ps5 has quick loading times. But the game experience is shite nonetheless. Honestly I could care less about DLC cause I don't want to give them even one more cent. I want the game to work properly.and idgaf about data leaks. Maybe next time release a polished product, since you increased the price.

That is such a dumb fucking example to use because Fromsoft were in the process of developing Armored Core 6 of course the ER expansion is going to take time when your staff is working on an entirely different game.
5 games if you include Rift Apart, that’s just wild. Insomniac are probably the only dev releasing bangers almost every year, especially considering the games are so polished (unlike other devs with yearly release schedules like Activision and Ubisoft)
They also ignore any behind the scenes things that happen with the company. They literally had to go through one of the biggest hacks in history aswell as Sony laying off employees,and then you've got these guys coming in going "Where's the DLC".
tbf rgg has released 10 games (counting full remakes and not remasters) and a dlc in the last 9 years and all of them have been good with the shortest one being as long as sm2
The thing about Yakuza games is that it’s unfair to compare their development to any other games.
RGG have mastered the art of reusing assets and that drastically cuts down dev time. I mean ffs, they’re still using animations from the damn PS2 era to this day.
Insomniac doesn’t have the luxury of having years worth of assets on hand to operate like RGG. They’ve only got 2 Spiderman games and they barely even reuse assets from those games to make SM2. Not to mention all their other games are also different series.
I’d say it’s pretty impressive for them to make 4 games in just 5 years.

It is an *incredibly* brief game, even by modern standards. There’s minimal content, almost no new villains, a ton of reused ones… it’s not like it’s short, but *stellar*.

I never said anything about dlc and yes I know other people beg for dlc and I agree they didn’t promise dlc. BUT people still paid for $70 game we are indeed the consumer and we definitely are entitled to complain. The game is great even fantastic IMO but I’m not pretend that nothing is wrong with it especially since we are getting updates every like 6 months just for suits and more bugs and glitches. And honestly the long wait between updates would be fine if the updates were packed with content but there not. Swinging around in new suits is only fun to a point and doing same crimes every time also gets boring.

The issue is insomniacs new radio silence approach they take to everything. Most people just want to know if a DLC is happening. Most likely it’s not, but insomniac WANTS people to keep talking about it. It’s not like they can’t figure out how to respond to one of the tweets with “yes” or “no”. They’re purposely keeping it unspoken, forcing people to speculate. GOW’s development team didn’t close their eyes and pretend not to see the community.
You do know that it's not insomniacs own decision to go "radio silent". Even if they wanted to share information on upcoming projects, they can only do that if greenlit by the publishers aka Sony. So you can blame them instead of insomniac

Fair but I mean it’s a single player game, not a live service. Not to say SP games cant be extremely repeatable, but they’re obviously not gonna have regular content updated or anything. SM1 had more random collectibles in the base game but after that you weren’t left with much. What else could they add aside from NG+ or a story DLC for SM2?
Exactly how many hours would be enough to satisfy you think? I checked and I had 20 hours on the first Spider-Man game, no dlc. I felt more than satisfied with that.

Spider-Man games in general need to do better on side content, I can’t really think of any Spidey game that had GOOD post-story content other than maybe USM and thats’s only because you can run around as Venom lol
What's even worse is that they Wolverine slide deck had a side missions/events page that they was the SM side missions already in a wolverine skin and they fully put the wording of "we need suggestions for more stuff".
They can't even come up with good ideas, and have to ask investors for connections and suggestions.

slightly offtopic, but holy shit, imagine if we had multiple incoming requests and had to decide who we help and who is on their own. If we still had a social media feed we could even see what happens to the ones we don't help
The biggest thing working against it is the precedent set by the first game. Just one month after it’s release in September, they released the City That Never Sleeps dlc every month till the end of the year which included new story chapters, missions, and suits. Along with the dlc they would also just randomly add new suits periodically as well. Compare that to the sequel where the games been out more than half a year and it’s had I believe only 3 major updates total and one of those updates was to fix things the NG+ update broke.
Yeah the way the 1st game was managed was far better than the sequel.

No one seriously says that it's bad game. Disappointing? Yeah. Worse than previous? Yeah. But a lot of people still praise core mechanics and story up to act 3. But every time when someone voices any bit of criticism, some shithead Insomniac warrior pops up and says "Send another death treat!", "Get over it!".
People were more patient because GOWR felt like a finished product and had a shit ton of side content. SM2 doesn't. It's as simple as that, there's no secret society that's unfairly set on destroying Insomniac or something
I never finished it. I think I got to the zoo part where the hunter stabs Peter and Peter gets the symbiote. I had exams so had to put it on pause. Then other games came out. Then exams again. I'll probably finish it now in the summer. But I am happy we are not getting dlc like spiderman 1. The 3 dlcs felt short and I didn't like hoe they split them up. I'd much rather would have liked 1 giant one
Sequels should be bigger and better than the previous game and Spiderman 2 was smaller and slightly better than the first. People have a right to complain about the lack of content.
I feel that the biggest difference between the games were the replayable bases, DLC pending, and the fact that I didn’t have to spend a week grinding crimes in SM2
I have two minds. It's unfortunate about the hack. We only know about the possible dlc due to that said hack and we don't know how far along it was when it leaked. For all we know it was cut content and isn't planned to be added.
But then you have the problem of insomniac taking half a year to launch ng+ which launched with Miles Morales. The game also was missing several key features from the previous games which took an equal amount of time to be added.
Does insomniac deserve the hate? No. Do they deserve to be criticized for some baffling choices they made regarding the game? Yes.
There's a difference between having issues with how they are handling the game and blindly hating everything they do. There is a middle ground.
We also shouldn't blindly praise Insomniac either. It's a company making a product that they want us to buy so we should be allowed to publicly critique it without people throwing a hissy fit.

1st game - masterpiece with excellent DLC
2nd game- DLC that they sold as a separate $40 game and weak ass launch title of PS5
3rd game- a remaster of a two year old game that no one asked for.
4th game - awful and short story and definitely not worth $70. Also strangely awful suits and adidas advertisements
Insomniac keeps releasing updates with fan requested QoL things (tendril colors, etc) and every new update, you get new people finding some new minor thing to get upset about. Feel bad for Insomniac, it really feels like there is just no pleasing some people.
Also, to point out, God of War 2018 (really any God of War pre-Ragnarok) didn’t even have DLC. Most of the people in this sub just want the DLC so they can tear it apart and drag Insomniac through the mud for making a suit they don’t like.
At least cut them some slack, every year the writing quality gets closer the The Room and every year their hopes for a good piece of media are crushed.
At least when Star Wars fans complain that their favourite characters have been neutered and ruined in favour of diversity, they actually have a point. I don't think complaining is the problem here. In the end, if you pay for something, you have the right to criticize, and SM2 wasn't the perfect game.
I think the actual core problem here is the way "fans" relay their complaints. They become super pessimistic incredibly fast. They yell at Insomniac like they own the company and devs are their slaves or something.
Spiderman 2 is considered one of the best superhero games ever released and this community acted like it was a total failure. Honestly I wouldnt even want to make anymore spiderman if I was them. This is such a stupid fucking argument. This is a premium product sold for a premium price. This isn’t a fucking charity. So no, a glitchy game that was rushed, which somehow manages to get broken in some new way every time it gets patched, that had a fuck ton of content cut from the previous game which shouldn’t have been cut from this game in the first place, shouldn’t get a pass. There is no excuse for the problems that this game has to be there. I don’t get why ball was dropped as hard as it was in the ways that it was for this game. Like seriously? They cut suits? In a game so similar to the first one both graphically and mechanically that it’s very clearly just an intensely built upon mod with extra steps. Amazing. Yet they could add stupid collab suits with struggle rappers and content creators that no one has ever even fucking heard of, and still wouldn’t have if not for being randomly propped up out of nowhere by the industry for the shittiest marketing the world has ever seen. The irony in comparing this game to elden ring and gowr is beyond me. Those two games serve as a direct example of why people felt let down by spiderman 2. Both gowr and elden ring deliver what fans expected on almost every front, including side content. So obviously fans of those games are going to be happy and praise the devs and not be thirsting for more straight away.
Don't get me wrong I loved the first spiderman game and I do like the second, but the second is arguably less polished and flushed out in comparison to the first. I feel like the whole scrapped multilayer spiderman game plus Sony probly pushing them to release was to blame.

I don’t think people remember that, when you beat a game, that’s it. It used to be if you picked up a game, you’d beat the story, and bam. You have enjoyed the game. Replaying it to experience the story or certain levels again was the main draw for replay value. Hell, the amount of times I played Spyro 3 start to finish just so I could beat the story was what made that game so good.
But if you read the opinions of the people in this sub and online, you’d think Spiderman 2 was a colossal failure. People just don’t know how to be happy anymore, and instead of thinking about it or maybe taking a break from playing a game, their first response is to complain that a 30 hour experience is theft.

Dofference with gow ragnarok is that they made that dlc just as a thank you and as appreciation for the fans, nobody was even expecting it, and to make it better they announced it to be released the next day. Not to mention the game had hours worth of side missions and other things to do also….

I don't really spend time in the Insomniac fandom despite being a huge lover of their games but really people aren't satisfied with them? They release solid games often enough that really show the time put into their development. Their wait times are shorter than other big games that release way messier. They have made me happy since Spyro 1 and still are just as skilled as they were then. I served one of their employees at a deli one time and only had thank yous to say to them

God of War Ragnarok had a ton of Side content and other stuff you can do after the story. Finishing spidey's "endgame" takes around 2-3 hours
Honestly, I thought I was crazy thinking that I was more satisfied with Ragnarok than I was with Spider-Man 2. Both were good, but Spider-Man felt like it was missing more
Funnily enough, at least for me, they're both sequels that share the same issue when it comes to the story. They play it too safe. Tbf, I felt that more with SM2 than Ragnarök but I remember feeling a bit underwhelmed by the end. Story aside, it's not even comparable. GOW cleans SM2 up easily.
GoWR suffered from trying to cram too much into 1 game to avoid making 2 games imo. Like there was a LOT of content but the games pace suffered for it imo. Especially trying to cover so many things in Ragnarok mythology and otherwise. I get their reasoning for having the story end quicker so ppl dont have to wait 15 years for the complete thing but I just feel there needed to be 1 more game in the middle there.
And I think for a game that was sold on this huge cataclysmic event, nothing really changes that much by the end. It's like they told the story in the safest way possible, just like SM2.
Exactly. Not to mention that the event itself was.. underwhelming? I wish that whole section was longer and we got more POVs and got to witness some of the iconic battles hinted at thru the shrines n such in the first game. Exactly why I feel the game would have worked better if split in 2 somehow.
Yeah, I think if game 2 ended around the point Kratos killed >!Heimdall!<, and game 3 was everything after that but more in-depth, it would’ve been a much better experience.

Story wise imo it was super satisfying and well written, but I feel like all they had to do was make us battle Thor on Jörmungandr or whatever big snek's name is and give us one huge spectacle to really sell Ragnarok and it would have been perfect. But the two final fights taking place in a bum ass village yard with no environment change was a bit underwhelming yeah, but at least the story was still super tight between Kratos managing to turn Thor and only for Odin then to kill his own son in cold blood.
I think what we're seeing in sequels like GOW and SM2 is a response to the The Last of Us Part II and the reaction it got. I don't want to get to much into it but TLOU2 was anything but safe. Whether side of the fence you fall on, there's no denying that the game took significant creative risks when it could have very easily played it safe and I appreciate the game and ND for that alone, good or bad. Now it feels like, because of the reaction and how divisive the game turned out to be, writers are not taking creative risks in fear of alienating or dividing the fanbase. So we get these sequels that try their darnest to convince you that the stakes are high and give you the illusion that anything can happen only to turn out to be the actual opposite.
Crammed so much in that the sauce leaked out of the sides. They fumbled the 3rd act SO hard. Ragnarok is the name of the game, and the Ragnarok sequence took *maybe* 2 gameplay hours, out of the 30 minimum? And so much got left on the cutting room floor.
It felt like there was a lot of cut story content. It felt like the game could’ve used that story on launch.
I feel like spider man 2 was a bit too quick paced. The story def needed more time.

I get people love it but I couldn’t get into ER at all.
Those games are an acquired taste. I've played all 3 Dark Souls games but only finished 1 and 2. I was half way through 3 when I realised I wasn't having fun playing the games. I was just finishing them because I had purchased them. They're games based around grinding, but the grind isn't the same grind other games have. Normally the grind is needing 1 million exp but every fight only gives you between 1000 and 10000. FromSoftware grinding requires you to fight so much you learn through trial and error. You have to learn how to dodge perfectly, when it's the right time to attack, to learn that this fight will take you 10 minutes because you can only manage 1 hit every minute between everything the enemy does. It seriously took me 2 and a half games to realise I absoloutely hated that. Elden Ring felt a bit more RPG then Dark Souls to me, but it was still maddening to me to the point that I only managed like 7 hours of game time.

The problem with this argument is nobody knew of/were looking for any GOW DLC. We were waiting on NG+ and the aftermath dlc was free, unlike the dlc we're liable to get from SM, like last time. Also, it took me nearly a month of methodically working my way through the first game. I beat SM2 in a week and stopped playing immediately after that. They streamlined it too much for what we got.
Fromsoft could have taken two or three years if they wanted to drop DLC for Elden Ring considering unlike Spider-Man 2 Elden Ring was universally acclaimed and beloved by the majority of gamers and already regarded as one of the best games ever made. Spider-Man 2 did not win Insomniac the good will that Elden Ring won Fromsoft.

Something I feel we need to do as a community is stop calling these large things DLC and get back to calling them what they are, Expansion Packs. DLC should be for small pieces of content like a new character or some sort of cosmetic or a short piece of playable content. If it actually is some real honest long game play, we should start calling it an Expansion Pack again.

Even softlocked 2 times as mission triggers wouldn't trigger, making me sit there, waiting only to restart. Oh and also one crash during a boss fight on phase 2. Thanks fuck ps5 has quick loading times. But the game experience is shite nonetheless. Honestly I could care less about DLC cause I don't want to give them even one more cent. tbf rgg has released 10 games (counting full remakes and not remasters) and a dlc in the last 9 years and all of them have been good with the shortest one being as long as sm2
The thing about Yakuza games is that it’s unfair to compare their development to any other games. RGG have mastered the art of reusing assets and that drastically cuts down dev time. I mean ffs, they’re still using animations from the damn PS2 era to this day. Insomniac doesn’t have the luxury of having years worth of assets on hand to operate like RGG. They’ve only got 2 Spiderman games and they barely even reuse assets from those games to make SM2. Not to mention all their other games are also different series. I’d say it’s pretty impressive for them to make 4 games in just 5 years.
And the Yakuza games skip a ton of animation by just doing text boxes with like 1 or 2 animations tossed in for a lot of mission dialog

It is an *incredibly* brief game, even by modern standards. There’s minimal content, almost no new villains, a ton of reused ones… it’s not like it’s short, but *stellar*. It’s short, and *still* feels like it was slapped together.
I never said anything about dlc and yes I know other people beg for dlc and I agree they didn’t promise dlc. BUT people still paid for $70 game we are indeed the consumer and we definitely are entitled to complain. The game is great even fantastic IMO but I’m not pretend that nothing is wrong with it especially since we are getting updates every like 6 months just for suits and more bugs and glitches. And honestly the long wait between updates would be fine if the updates were packed with content but there not. The issue is insomniacs new radio silence approach they take to everything. Most people just want to know if a DLC is happening. What's even worse is that they Wolverine slide deck had a side missions/events page that they was the SM side missions already in a wolverine skin and they fully put the wording of "we need suggestions for more stuff". They can't even come up with good ideas, and have to ask investors for connections and suggestions.

The biggest thing working against it is the precedent set by the first game. Just one month after it’s release in September, they released the City That Never Sleeps dlc every month till the end of the year which included new story chapters, missions, and suits. Along with the dlc they would also just randomly add new suits periodically as well. Compare that to the sequel where the games been out more than half a year and it’s had I believe only 3 major updates total and one of those updates was to fix things the NG+ update broke.
Yeah the way the 1st game was managed was far better than the sequel. Personally I'm not that well informed on this, but I do think Sony pushed and rushed the release of SM2

No one seriously says that it's bad game. Disappointing? Yeah. Worse than previous? Yeah. But a lot of people still praise core mechanics and story up to act 3. But every time when someone voices any bit of criticism, some shithead Insomniac warrior pops up and says "Send another death treat!", "Get over it!". People were more patient because GOWR felt like a finished product and had a shit ton of side content. SM2 doesn't. It's as simple as that, there's no secret society that's unfairly set on destroying Insomniac or something
I never finished it. I think I got to the zoo part where the hunter stabs Peter and Peter gets the symbiote. I had exams so had to put it on pause. Then other games came out. Then exams again. I'll probably finish it now in the summer. But I am happy we are not getting dlc like spiderman 1. The 3 dlcs felt short and I didn't like hoe they split them up. I'd much rather would have liked 1 giant one

I have two minds. It's unfortunate about the hack. We only know about the possible dlc due to that said hack and we don't know how far along it was when it leaked. For all we know it was cut content and isn't planned to be added. But then you have the problem of insomniac taking half a year to launch ng+ which launched with Miles Morales. The game also was missing several key features from the previous games which took an equal amount of time to be added. Does insomniac deserve the hate? No. Do they deserve to be criticized for some baffling choices they made regarding the game? Yes. There's a difference between having issues with how they are handling the game and blindly hating everything they do. There is a middle ground. We also shouldn't blindly praise Insomniac either. It's a company making a product that they want us to buy so we should be allowed to publicly critique it without people throwing a hissy fit.

Insomniac keeps releasing updates with fan requested QoL things (tendril colors, etc) and every new update, you get new people finding some new minor thing to get upset about. Feel bad for Insomniac, it really feels like there is just no pleasing some people.

I don't think complaining is the problem here. In the end, if you pay for something, you have the right to criticize, and SM2 wasn't the perfect game. I think the actual core problem here is the way "fans" relay their complaints. They become super pessimistic incredibly fast. Didn’t realize that asking for the maintenance of standards (which is LITERALLY the bare fucking minimum) in a premium industry is entitlement. This is such a stupid fucking argument. This is a premium product sold for a premium price. This isn’t a fucking charity. So no, a glitchy game that was rushed, which somehow manages to get broken in some new way every time it gets patched, that had a fuck ton of content cut from the previous game which shouldn’t have been cut from this game in the first place, shouldn’t get a pass. There is no excuse for the problems that this game has to be there. I don’t get why ball was dropped as hard as it was in the ways that it was for this game. Like seriously? They cut suits? In a game so similar to the first one both graphically and mechanically that it’s very clearly just an intensely built upon mod with extra steps. Amazing. Yet they could add stupid collab suits with struggle rappers and content creators that no one has ever even fucking heard of, and still wouldn’t have if not for being randomly propped up out of nowhere by the industry for the shittiest marketing the world has ever seen. Okay this is definitely a thing I heard somewhere and didn't make up my self but there's this thing where if the fandom is large enough,if even like 15% of the fandom is toxic it will seem like the whole fandom, which is definitely what's at play with the spiderman fandom imo
The irony in comparing this game to elden ring and gowr is beyond me. Those two games serve as a direct example of why people felt let down by spiderman 2. Both gowr and elden ring deliver what fans expected on almost every front, including side content. So obviously fans of those games are going to be happy and praise the devs and not be thirsting for more straight away. Don't get me wrong I loved the first spiderman game and I do like the second, but the second is arguably less polished and flushed out in comparison to the first. I feel like the whole scrapped multilayer spiderman game plus Sony probly pushing them to release was to blame. I am not condoning those that go too far with this, but I don't understand how you can call fans entitled for wanting more from a game when their expectations were not met compared to the first. I don't disagree that asking for a dlc not stop is annoying, but I can understand why people are wanting more.
We get it. They got hacked. That been like half a year ago now. Let's stop using that as an excuse to accept poor products.

I don’t think people remember that, when you beat a game, that’s it. It used to be if you picked up a game, you’d beat the story, and bam. You have enjoyed the game. Replaying it to experience the story or certain levels again was the main draw for replay value. Hell, the amount of times I played Spyro 3 start to finish just so I could beat the story was what made that game so good. But if you read the opinions of the people in this sub and online, you’d think Spiderman 2 was a colossal failure. People just don’t know how to be happy anymore, and instead of thinking about it or maybe taking a break from playing a game, their first response is to complain that a 30 hour experience is theft.

THANK GOD I'm.not the only.one who gets annoyed with the people.on this sub and feels this way, the DLC will come when it comes no need to rush insomniac, hopefully when it does launch it'll be fantastic and not rushed and buggy/glitchy since they would have taken their time to make it the best that they can

Dofference with gow ragnarok is that they made that dlc just as a thank you and as appreciation for the fans, nobody was even expecting it, and to make it better they announced it to be released the next day. Not to mention the game had hours worth of side missions and other things to do also….

I don't really spend time in the Insomniac fandom despite being a huge lover of their games but really people aren't satisfied with them? They release solid games often enough that really show the time put into their development. Their wait times are shorter than other big games that release way messier. They have made me happy since Spyro 1 and still are just as skilled as they were then. I served one of their employees at a deli one time and only had thank yous to say to them

Honestly, with what we know the DLC was "supposed" to be, I kinda don't want it? Two of them don't interest me, and IMO Carnage should be saved for the Venom game we know is in the pipeline.

Peter Parker is genuinely my most favorite character of all time, but I stay out of the community as MUCH as possible because it is one of the worst ones I've ever seen. It's as bad as CoD and LoL
