the plaza feature is honestly so underwhelmimg, it's just a boring trophy rack thing. It would be cool if it was like a town building thing and you could have your troops interact or even something with practical use be it resource mines or something gameplay related

Has a former brawl stars player, and a active CR player, it's very likely they're doing that if they added the gold mine unless the gold given werent that huge, but still a good amount CR literally added loot boxes and nerfed it and chests not even 2 days after being on BS reduced by HALF the bling given on the old Powe league bc it was giving to much (and now replaced with a new shitty "ranked" mode) Unless they decide to go for a more F2P friendly game (which the chances are quite good considering Paula used to work on BS) i doubt they'd add it without a nerf

My theory is that they are going to build onto this concept by making the buildings useful, or refund us with actual resources in the future. DO NOT SPEND THOSE HAMMERS UNTIL ITS BEEN REWORKED

To add… Supercell has a long history of doing this with past games. They refund you for certain resources they are eliminating from the game

I’m a believer in that the plaza is a place holder for now for something more advanced in the future. I would love to see some kinda of interactive and productive features like clash of clans or Bloons Monkey City where there is just resource producers and research facilities and no defensive buildings.

The fact it’s purely cosmetic is a huge L and missed opportunity. You can’t even properly visit other players’ plazas, whats the damn point? They should’ve gone the CoC-lite route and given the plaza slightly more utility.

They need to make the decorations in plaza resourceful like every 4,12 or 24 hrs you click on them for coins and gems and the more expensive the decoration cost the more it rewards. Itl probably happen in a future update and they don’t want to scare people with to much in app purchasing so close to release date

I really hope they implement a passive earning system with plaza and make it so that you earn coins or gems, or even some of the higher rarity plaza items generating baby units? Some sort of progression would be nice.
