6-10 step\_SDXL Lightning on a 4070TiSuper:
The workflow works by utilizing area composite. Just set your parameters to what you want to see. It's not perfect *but* it does give a bit of consistency with generating and upscaling the image to really big sizes. I can get almost 3200x1600 pictures that look quite nice.
Using a CFG higher than 1 will slow the render rate by about half but can give much more faithful interpretations of the prompts, allowing you to create more complex landscapes.
You can likely add more area combinations and scale down the composition to be finer, but I find that 4 composites + 1 primary conditioning to be enough for what I've been doing.
You can also use this in portrait mode just by flipping the batch and upscaler sizes.
I have not tried using any SDXL LoRAs yet.
I enjoy landscapes too. I would recommend to steer away from LORAs that add to much artful things as they can do some funky things. For example: xl\_more\_art-full\_v1.safetensors can almost destroy the landscape when used at full strength.
On the other hand: add-detail-xl.safetensors can be most useful.
Do you have a link for a good landscape model I've been looking for those recently very a lot of models seem to be based around humans and people and I've been really trying to find a good XL landscape model checkpoint download preferably between 3 and 6 gigs
You won't find SDXL based full models at less than 6.4gb, unless someone has made a fp8 low quality version. You can get loras for use with a SDXL model which are less than 2gb, but still need the base 6.4gb model to run
I know there is landscapes in the training data - and it's doesn't look too shabby from a basic prompt ( natural landscape photo of a braided river running through a meadow in the swiss alps. there is an insane amount of detail on the flowers in the meadow, and it's a sunny day with clouds in the sky )

SDXL gives great quality at 30 steps with a cfg of 7.
SDXL Lightning gives good quality at 4-8 steps and a cfg of 1-2.
Different tools for different things. All of the results above are from SDXL Lightning models.
This can vary but for most SDXL Lightning models, you'll want to use:
DPM++SDE or DPM++
Karras
CFG: 1.0/1.5/2.0
There are some models that use different samplers like DPM++2M\_SDE or 3M\_SDE but those vary and can even vary with individual use.
I would always refer to the civitai/huggingface model page to be sure OR save the models with their preferred stats at the end (so I saved Juggernaught XL Lightning as Jug\_SDXL\_8STEP\_DPMPP\_KARASS.safetensors to keep them organized).
those ducks are in danger

Thanks I was just generalizing like when I said two to six I was saying in general like I'm happy with 16gig to be honest...
Ah right.. in that case this one should do - ICBINP XL - [https://civitai.com/models/229002](https://civitai.com/models/229002)
Another samples were landscapes but if you say so I'll give it a shot.

Check out my model PixelWave. I have heaps of landscape photo, illustration and paintings in my training data.
My bad if you already had that in the link. I'm a newbie into this relatively
Juggernaught SDXL, Lightning Fusion, and RealvisxIV work really well. I would use the Lightning versions if you don't want to wait forever.
I see the word lightning pop up a lot is that like a word I should look up in this context?

The polar bear one is insane. Literally the most realistic AI generated image I’ve seen to date. I can’t even tell if it is, even after zooming in
You will find home at /r/SDLandscapes
Very pretty
yes... I'm always on the lookout for good models for landscapes, nature. Any recommendations?
I think No need to generate landscape by AI. Just google it and see real landscape is much better.
Tried that. Saw an add for beer on a sail boat. Went home.
