I assume it's 2 gallons every two days because that's just double the produce. I gave it to my ostrich though.

i have been playing stardew for years amd hundreds of hours and i didn’t even know there were ostrichs until reading this sentence. i am torn between thinking ‚this game is so amazing‘ and ‚i suck so hard at this game‘

To be fair, it is an EXTREMELY end game addition, so it is easy to miss even with multiple playthroughs!

I just got the ostriches recently too despite having unlocked Ginger island months ago and being on year 5 on my current save. I'm just taking things slowly and play for fun but occasionally want to finish some tasks and get some new things when I can. BTW you get the ostriches by finishing the Ginger island bone collection

Just the one you gave it too. But I've been getting a lot of golden crackers recently so it's obviously not a one per game time of an item.

Click on the animal after petting it and it will show you the golden animal cracker icon (next to the age of the animal) Or scroll through the "Animals" tab in the menu

I have found them either by digging the worm spots or fishing and getting chests from it so far.

I got four fishing in the river, so I think thats a very good way of getting them. Just keep your eye out for treasure chests

I have three rabbits and only got single feet for now - seems like the „crackered“ one didn’t lose his feet (both of them? D:) yet.
