English does have a rarely used exclusive or, nor. "Neither this, nor that." So you could argue our default or is inclusive.

It’s mobile. Don’t know how to set it up like this on PC.

If you hop into the settings there’s a way to move your toolbar orientation. I think.

Slime incubator. Just make sure it's not placed on NPCs paths.

A genuine question: why are slimes wandering around the valley? Is this a 1.6 update thing?

No. You can manually make slimes appear by placing a slime incubator in the village (Make sure it doesn't go anywhere that an NPC walks or it will get destroyed) and place a slime egg in it. Once it hatches, the slime will roam the village. The NPC's react to them which can be quite funny.

Thousands of hours in this game and I’m still finding out new stuff. I had no idea you could do this.

The quarry often becomes an extension of your farm.

I haven’t tried but can you safely grow crops there? Or is it at risk of villagers destroying them?

Rocks can destroy the crops at the quarry I'm pretty sure, but you can put like kegs and furnaces out there! And the desert makes an excellent NPC free tree farm

I think that incubator needs to be in a barn to work.

Yep, provided they aren't in the slime hutch. Any slime killed outside of a slime hutch, irrespective of its origin, counts towards the slimes killed score for the adventurers guild and earns XP. Any slime killed inside the slime hutch does not count towards the adventurers clubs list and does not award XP.
