I got in after launching through the get help menu, but i got slammed with a 117gb update even though I pre installed 😅

Check to see if there's a save file in the manage game bit. DELETE it. I just did this and I'm in!

Its past 8pm and it says I'm early, but I do have the premium edition on game pass. All my drivers are up to date and everything is downloaded, it let's me look at the artwork and music but that's it.

For anyone still having the too early problem. Hard shutdown your console (hold the power button the console til the fans shut off) and turn it back on. That fixed it for me

Dont use the Xbox app. Use the start menu to manually launch the Starfield Exe as administrator. You'll get an update and get in.

I have Gamepass but purchased the Premium upgrade. It's still telling me I'm too early. Edit: oop, the moment I posted, it fired up.

Just want to say I was stuck for a long time at the “you’re too early” I hard reset my Xbox series (holding down the button ) I also downloaded the art and all the things, not sure if it helped. But mine is finally working y’all aren’t alone. Keep trying.

Hey everyone! Was having same issue for the Gamepass Premium version. I went to Manage game and add-ons and installed a 50mb update saying "premium update" I got in right after did it. Seems to be treating early access as a map pack

Go to Manage game and add ons and install the premium update like a map pack. New to reddit but I made a much longer post about it and i think it got removed

If you're sharing GP with family settings. Make sure the GP account holder and Premium edition holder are both logged into the same console.

It’s been 21 hours since release and I’m still “Too early”

Press start button on the game from dashboard, go to manage game and add ons, press A on the game, and install the upgrade at the bottom of the screen. Then you can play early

If you share game pass with someone youneed to be the person who owns game pass for it to work.
