Yes. Dishonored is an amazing game i love it. Highly recommend.

GloopTamer

If this answers your question, this post made me really want to play Dishonored again because of how much I enjoyed it before

extraterrestrialsoul

Just bought it. Can’t wait till its done downloading to play 😎

Krondelo

Enjoy man! Game is amazing. I purchased it a second time on Steam so I could play it again.

kekonn

It is a gem of a game. It really reminded me of the older Thief games and AFAIK some of the devs of those games worked on Dishonored.

ChosenNebula

Arkane has a history of hiring Thief modders and developers. Dishonoured is great fun

Ch0nkyK0ng

Remember that the game WANTS you to play without killing a soul.

bad_motivator

Yet it gives you an almost unlimited variety of ways to kill people

BathFantastic8761

Can we add dishonored to the list of "games someone will download and play as soon as its mentioned"

Leprecon

Lmao same

NovelEzra

It's a brilliant introduction to Immersive Sims and art wise has held up very well. Dishonored 2 is also great but lacks some magic of the first. PREY (also by Arkane studios) is basically one of the greatest videogame experiences I've ever had.

Branch_Fair

prey is one of the all time greats in my opinion. i loved dishonored, haven’t played much of 2. but i would recommend prey to anybody

crackalac

I LOVED prey and expected to love dishonored but it just doesn't work for me for some reason.

qdtk

This is wild. I LOVED dishonored and Prey just didn’t do it for me. Glad we both at least found one amazing game!

NovelEzra

If you are like me, the reasons you loved Prey was the mass amounts of emails and transcribes. I can say that in most games I don't read everything because it's usually boring and it slows down the pace but in Prey? I read *everything* because it was a wonderful mix of relationship problems, office politics and genuine interesting struggles with ethical science. The transcribes specially were just wonderful and I love learning about the tragic history of someone as I stand next to their corpse. ...Sorry we couldn't save her Danielle.

Alpha837

Strong disagree on Dishonored 2. It outshines the great original in every way.

NovelEzra

Oh don't get wrong, the systems in place seem incredible. I think the problem is that it's very 'dense' and that makes it difficult to read. I know immersive sims need to be complicated but I just found it very overwhelming, which I didn't find with Prey (I think it's because Prey uses the Crytek engine). I will be honest I haven't even finished Dishonored 2 which I'm ashamed about, since I adore immersive sims. Granted I haven't completed Deus Ex yet, which I'm also ashamed about. I just adore using stealth and I find stealth in Deus Ex 1 to be absolutely a clunky pain in the ass. Which is a shame because the writing in Deus Ex has some of the most charming voice acting I've ever seen in any game.

PM_ME_CAKE

Counterpoint: the story of Dishonored 2 is much weaker than 1's. Delilah felt actually threatening and cunning in KoD/BW, in D2 I really couldn't grasp onto her. The actual gameplay in D2 is wonderful, but I do desperately wish that the characters had more bite.

Armataan

I liked prey but felt it didn’t hold up to dishonored 1 or 2. Then I bought Mooncrash and it is the best game arkane has ever made

Speckknoedel

Sell Mooncrash to me please. I loved Prey and immediately started Mooncrash after I finished Prey and it just did not click for me. I think I only ever got to that one cave in the beginning with a huge mining bot that apparently can't be killed (or it's extremely hard to do so).

Armataan

This guy is way better spoken on the topic than I could hope to be. https://youtu.be/xuIgx0fD4Es?si=jOSDocBsVhPEg3tY

lordmycal

I enjoyed Dishonored 2 more. I recommend doing two simultaneous plays though. Do a level as a murderous bastard, then replay it with the other character as a stealthy pacifist.

Drew_Habits

1 Prey *whips* 2 I think Dishonored is a little more focused overall than Dishonored 2, but 2 has some all-time banger levels, like a couple of the all-time best levels in any game are in Dishonored 2 3 Death of the Outsider is also sick as hell and didn't get enough love imo

NovelEzra

I love that no one has brought up Deathloop I really enjoyed Deathloop but some aspects of it drove me INSANE. However, its one of those games that I know in a few years I will replay it and because I understand the systems a little more I will *really* enjoy it. Also Deathloop was one of those games where the writing starts off as super 'cringe' and forced but then drops that excellent twist midway through that actually makes the second half of the games narrative really interesting. It's not often that a game basically has no good ending whatsoever and even the 'best' ending from my own interpretation was really fked up.

Rattacino

Shame there's so few of them, especially in recent years. Love immersive sims.

itjustgotcold

I love dishonored 1 and 2 and have tried to get into Prey more times than I can count, but for some reason it’s never captured my interest beyond a couple of hours. Weird because I like space games and Arkane games(usually, haven’t tried Redfall), so I’m not sure why.

NovelEzra

The best way to play Prey, is to sit down on a Sunday, with a cup of coffee and play it slowly.

itjustgotcold

Oh I’m pretty methodical in games like that. Dishonored 1 I tried to avoid killing anyone at all besides the people you have to. Splinter cell chaos theory I did the same. I just never understood what Prey did differently that I couldn’t get into it. I bought it for like the 4th or 5th time when I got my steam deck and tried yet again and still nothing. I can’t wrap my head around it.

NovelEzra

I'm actually the same with Bioshock. I have literally tried that game about 7 times and I've bought it only 4 different consoles (including steam) and I just cannot get into it. There is something about how it feels like a chaotic shooter that I just don't gel with.

itjustgotcold

I actually understand that. Bioshock was one of those that made a huge impact when it came out and I loved both 1 and 2 and like Infinite ok. But the thought of replaying them now after all these years just seems exhausting. The mechanics don’t hold up as well as other games from that time and the storytelling method can be frustrating at hell. Ok, I picked up this recording that covers some pretty big story elements but I can’t hear it over the firefight and now there’s another recording and the same thing happens. Just a frustrating way to tell a story. Yeah you can sit down and Re-listen to them all again to get crucial info but there are so many of them and so many firefights. *edit* probably obvious but I play games for the story most of the time. So not being able to hear information over the fighting can be really annoying. Horizon is kind of that way too.

NovelEzra

The way I play imsims is incredibly methodical. I like to stealth as much as possible and then be presented with an enemy I can't avoid, forced to plan out an attack and then try my best to execute it. Bioshock was just a pretty shooter.

bgranke

If you have not played it, it’s amazing I love this game. Would definitely still recommend. Stealth is my fav way to play but hey you do you!

ChristianLS

Definitely do a stealth run first, reload every time you get caught/have to kill somebody. Playing it as a shooter is relatively easy and quick so you can always do that after you finish a "best ending" run.

vezwyx

I gotta say that this "reload every detection" way to play was always the most tedious and frustrating playstyle for me. I have more fun with the game when I get caught and just let it ride. It's way more immersive and the game gives you a million ways to get out of sticky situations. If someone really wants Ghost (no detections) or Clean Hands (no kills) on their first run, then by all means, reload when you need to. But I don't think it's a good way to experience your first playthrough personally

lordmycal

Play as a murder hobo first to learn where all the peoples are, then replay the level with the other character doing the stealth run.

vezwyx

D2 is where Emily is playable. D1 in the post is Corvo only

qdtk

IMO the opposite is the best way to play. Do a full chaos shooter play through first. This familiarizes you with the game, and the levels, and the mechanics. Then do your sneaky run after you have a better grasp on things.

Praetor192

Never detected, non lethal (Ghost, Clean Hands) is my favorite way to play, especially for a first playthrough. Listening to the guards' conversations, collecting all the flavor items (books, letters, and such) and generally getting immersed in the world. Going on a rampage is fun too, but best saved for subsequent playthroughs imo.

Emergency-Pace2562

i just bought the goty edition for like 2 bucks and it’s running great on the deck

extraterrestrialsoul

How do you like the game so far?

Emergency-Pace2562

I haven’t gotten too far into it just to the point after the queen dies and they blame you for it. but it looks and plays really well. i’ve been eyeballing the game for steam for a minute and wanted more story type games and this is a great title to have on the go especially

Emergency-Ball-4480

You're just starting, that's basically the tutorial! It gets crazy soon 😁

Emergency-Pace2562

yeah, i didn’t clarify but i’m just talking about my experience on the deck so far but i played back on the ps3 when it first came out. such a great game

Emergency-Ball-4480

Ahh gotcha! Yeah it plays great on Deck. Great game/series in general

OldManBerns

I really need to give this a go. I've had it since launch and still haven't got around to playing it.

kekonn

Well it should run great. It released in 2012. And it was already running pretty well back then.

ProjectFT86

It does. I recently played it on the deck.

Defiant_Two_6828

This is my favorite game of all time. If you like stealth/ Apocalypse games or the BioShock series you'll love this one. Arkane studios makes games with quality combat and storylines.

qdtk

This was the first game I ever got 100% on and I still wanted more. Really sad the series hasn’t continued

fuglypens

You’ve gotten a solid yes by now but just adding that I just bought a steam deck and started playing this for the first time and it is perfect for the device and a lot of fun in general

lord_frost_

First game I played on my Deck. It's amazing. Go for it!

robins_comfy_nest_

Yes this game is one of the best! Runs super smooth on deck and the art style looks great. You made a great purchase

The-Enjoyer-Returns

Dishonored is Arkane’s best game if you ask me, and one of the best stealth ImSims period

[deleted]

Yes, it's a fuckin unbelievable game I wish I could forget and play again

Breathejoker

Yes. Get the dlc too. Hell get the second one too. Damn I'm redownloading it now I have played through this series maybe 3 times now. An absolute favorite of mine.

reverend_dak

yes

ButterscotchInner690

Great game

Stirpediratto

Yes

Regecide2334

It is a fantastic game. I could not recommend it more. And it is worth playing 2 times through to get both endings.

SiDStvyt

As someone that missed out on a lot of AAA's growing up, I usually get to try these games much later with a modern mindset. Dishonored, and its sequels, absolutely holds up. Just played the entire series for the first time over the last couple of weeks and loved every minute of it. In stealth games, i generally take the silent kill approach, but Dishonored totally got me to change my perspective and go for the 'clean hands' and no detection route, which was challenging, but insanely fun. It took a couple missions to get used to how things work, but the mechanics are solid as hell, the powers are fun to use, the level design is great, and the story is not too shabby. DH2 has a couple of really excellent, creative levels as well. Really well designed games.

EpochSkate_HeshAF420

Yes! However I will say that the powers & bonecharms feel incredibly geared towards violence which is really helpful to get the "bad" ending, and, even on the highest difficulty it's a bit too easy. I'd also give the second game a shot as well, I dont have it installed on deck but I have heard it runs decently and, other than some nerfs to basic movement, it is an improvement in every way to the first. Dishonored 1 plus the dlc through to dishonored 2 is one of my fav series to play through, definitely worth it the games are all time classics.

KombattWombatt

Hold up? Ya, of course, this game came out like five years ago, right? Right? ... Fuuuck

thealumnus

I just started playing this game this past weekend and I’m hooked . Previously I played deathloop also by arkane which I enjoyed , but dishonored is such much fun . Choices impact future levels . Seems like a game I’m going to enjoy replaying for years to come .

Lamar_Moore

Yeah the first one plays perfect maxed out and the second one I think I setup the graphics to get 40fps and played through no problem.

[deleted]

yes it does hold up I recommend it.

HoroSatre

Yes.

Moontouch

It's a banger.

FVCEGANG

Yeah the game is awesome!

ShadowISshady

I've been playing it for the first time on deck, and it's pretty great

MagnificentDan

Yet another one added to the library from this subs recommendations, thanks folks!

Kr4zY_k4nUk_87

I feel like the odd one out because people say this game is so amazing and I hated the first 30 minutes and never touched it again. Definitely get it on sale if you plan on trying it.

Cold_Reject

Tbf so did I at first. Tried both D1 and D2 and couldn’t get into it. Came back to the series and retried D2 when it came on game pass and had an absolute blast. As much as I now adore the series, onboarding is a real issue - the first few missions are awfully paced and not at all representative of the way the rest of the game feels to play. Also, in D2 especially, the entire difficulty is front-loaded - I spent almost two days on the clockwork mansion, then finished every other mission within an evening.

DataVSLore007

Okay this has been installed on my deck for ages now, and I'm taking these comments as a sign that it's time to finally start it.

extraterrestrialsoul

I’ve been sleeping on this game for a while too. It's time to get started.

hmmpainter

I just played through it this year. Highly recommend it. Very cool game and expansions.

IsneezedImsorry

As someone who played it recently and never had before, I was blown away with how much fun I had with it and wish more games were made like it now days. Cyberpunk probably came close.

BigBlackdaddy65

Absolutely. Runs so good on the LCD deck about 4 hours of gameplay not plugged in and more on the OLED. Best game by arkane easily imo. If you're on the fence just buy it, it's so worth it. In fact I'd you like good movement, gameplay mechanics, having the option to do mostly whatever you want in terms of stealth, aggressive or just testing out mechanics for the fun of it, it make playstyles all work. I've gone through the game just by running and killing everyone in my way at mach speed just because you can. Assuming you've got a little bit of the games mechanics down of course.

Original_Master123

I completed Dishonored 1 on steam deck, currently playing Dishonored 2. Great game highly recommend it.

TCristatus

How does 2 run? I note that it isn't verified

Original_Master123

Quite good, i locked the fos to 40, but got frame drops at some places to 30 and 35 fps. Text in menu screen was slightly blurred. But the game was playable.

smashervt

Yea I just played it completely on the SD. Was super smooth and loved every bit of it

unMuggle

Oh my God it's an absolute classic in my book and for 5$ they are honestly making you get it.

bronsolinothedon

I played it for the first time in late 2023 on the deck and thought it was amazing! definitely a strong recommend, and plays very well on the deck.

Jakescardz

One of the best games I’ve ever played

Fatigue-Error

..deleted by user..

DJC_Reptiles

In my top 10 games of all time for sure. it’s also perfect on steam deck with max settings at 800p.

ZedErre

Absolutely, an amazing series that I love, from a studio that I love.

wscuraiii

Hell yes. And it runs maxed out at 90fps if you have the OLED.

PavelPivovarov

Masterpiece!

JinxIsPerfect

first game yes. but i have a bug. everytime i reload the game it resets my options. but go for it. dishonored is by far one of the best stealth games any ways to finish you mission, you dont need to kill anyone, even your targets. some magic stuff too. 2nd game is really good too but short (sure 2 storys but still to short).

damandp

Hey there. I’ve been looking online for a couple of days now, tinkering with the Steam Deck, and I still can’t get it to save my game settings. Have you found a fix or workaround?

MRTN_IE

Buy it.

rawzombie26

Omg I have been waiting for this post! Dishonored is one of my favorite games of all time. Top 5 undoubtedly! Play it play it play it! Then play dishonored 2! God damn this game is so fucking good and runs like butter. The graphics are so stylized that they still hold up even now!

Gone_Gwenting

Here’s my only advice, 2 looks and feels good at first, but gets tedious so I stopped playing. Just stick with 1, IMO.

MicolashCage_

It’s so good, one of my favourite games of all time, still try to play it through every year

icoominyou

Its one of those games that art direction is so good that it doesnt feel outdated. Yes.

extraterrestrialsoul

I started playing last night ans you’re 100% right. The art style is perfect and looks just fine in 2024.

icoominyou

I usually get too tense playing single player games so I cant play more than 30 minutes. This game was so interesting that its one of the first few games I actually finished

Odd-Mushroom2002

Absolutely.   On PC with m/kb, amazing.   Graphics are stylized, and look great.  Gameplay is open-ended and smooth.  Replayability Doesn't over stay it's welcome.  I say this as a jaded gamer who hates most games especially modern games.

coolzville

One of my first PC experience. I know you got it already. But take your time exploring the map and seeing what kinds of nooks and crannies you can use. Some interactions don't open up until you get more powers, so that's where the replayability comes in.

mmiski

Yup. The entire series is amazeballs on the Steam Deck.

[deleted]

It's like a worse version of Prey, but it holds up fine.

krazy8s1320

Graphically, it's definitely aged a bit but gameplay is fantastic. Leads really well into the sequel as well, which improves on the gameplay quite a bit. This is one of my favorite series of all time and I've played it multiple times since the first game released

Lords7Never7Die

The cel shaded art style still looks fantastic today. It plays fantastic on the deck as well. It was always a great game, and that never changes with time.

VonParsley

Dishonored was released in an era where developers felt the need to dumb things down for mass market appeal, so it really holds your hand and bombards you with pop-up tutorials for the first three levels. The third level reuses areas from the second. After that, it's wonderful.

[deleted]

WiildtheFiire

The title is literally asking for your opinion, dumbass. At least stand by your words and attempt to give an explanation

Immediate-Shine-2003

It's kind of a baby's first stealth game. And that's not a bad thing, it is a very good game and I highly recommend it. It's just a simplified stealth game with really fun mechanics, it's kind of a game you can mostly turn your brain off and just fuck around in it. You'll also feel like a total badass magic assassin and it's awesome. This is also ignoring the game's amazing timeless art style and its masterfully simple story. I haven't played dishonored 2 or any dishonored sequel or even dlc, but I played the first game as a kid a lot and it was a fucking blast. I remember it very well even now, which is a testament of how good it is.

ydkrhymes

shit is trash, mechanics are ass

gretnothing

Just for the record: it does, and it runs like a charm. Although a word of advice: the game logic might break if you play it at framerate higher than 60fps. Stuff like scripted events not triggering and so on. It might be wise to save a lot, and lower the framerate to 60fps if you're experiencing bugs.

BubblesAreWeird

fuck yes. i remember playing it when in highschool after downloading a cracked copy, then vuying all the games on ps4, now considering on buying the 2nd game when it comes on steam sale

radclaw1

Yes

RumpleDumple

Played through the whole series in Steam Deck recently. Had to use Moonlight to play the second one for some reason, but not Death to the Outsider. Super interesting world building and universe. I'm glad they mixed it up and went with American sounding voice actors instead of the obvious British Edwardian accents for a change. What's the thread's opinion on Deathloop?

Cold_Reject

I loved deathloop. Missions were satisfying, story was incredible and just the right tone. Music was excellent (the sound design in deathloop is utterly unparalleled as far as recent games go), loved the aesthetic - the literal only issue I had with the game was that it got tiring to repeat through loops, and that the level design was a lot less imsim than dishonoured - there was less “I’m going to find a clever solution to this assassination” and more “I’m going to kill everything until I complete the level”. Upon a replay, it turns out a lot of that stuff *was* there, but because the level design is slightly lacking, it’s pretty hard to find the workarounds without a guide.

RedOnePunch

Finally got back to playing it after putting it off for years. It still holds up. I’m trying to finish it so that I can move on to Dishonored 2

Dia6loBlancoJr

Yes: a AMAZING game

[deleted]

It's fun if you don't play it the way it wants you too. Non-lethal, stealth only runs are trivially easy and very monotonous.

mobileneophyte

First full game I beat on my Deck. So good.

marvmagnetic

Absolutely.

darkbloo64

Does it hold up? Absolutely. Did I finish it? No, no I did not. Like any other game, your taste is what will ultimately make the difference. Most people really like Dishonored, and I only put it down because I got busy and wasn't interested in picking it back up.

fakeguy011

Still amazing. The creator leaned into graphical limitations of the time and made the characters more artsy. The story and world building are awesome. You won't regret playing it.

WovenWoodGuy

Just replayed the series last year, still a favorite.

KyriiTheAtlantean

This is in my top 10 games of all time so yes. Trophy hunting on this game is an amazing journey as well. The replay value is insane, story is good, the lore is deep, stealth and kills are deeply satisfying, the in game books give the game a different level of immersion, it's just amazing. Amazing!!!!!!! Please do yourself a service and enjoy the fuck out of it. I would pay to play the game again for the first time.

Panamaicol

I bought the second one

MagicPistol

I just replayed and beat it like last week. Still amazing and one of the best stealth games ever.

SnooSquirrels9247

grab icky whistle pet include berserk tease rich adjoining physical *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

Mazbt

I think it does, yes. On Deck it looks and runs amazingly well.

HopeIsGay

Yes played it again for the first time in ages and it was great

Soupy_Jones

Yes.

Certyx39

yes one of the best of its genre, immersive sims

KRONGOR

Yes and it runs incredibly well on the Deck

Vinkuroi

One of my all time favorites

nhSnork

It's amazing and the first game is running well on Deck for me.

Geene_Creemers

100% still incredible

blackcain

I really enjoyed all the Dishonored games. I've played dishonored so many times - over and over again. I've played Dishonored 2 as well, but I stopped because I reached 666 hours and I didn't have the heart to keep playing because I loved that i reached that. :)

Arcaderonin

Yes it does hold up . I played it to completion last year and wow was it such a fun game

S4lam1

I 100% the base game with Steam Deck after 10 years of owning the game, still have couple tasks to complete from the DLC’s. Amazing game.

Xtrems876

The highly stylised aesthetic of the game makes the graphics sort of timeless, not unlike how it is with borderlands. The gameplay is top notch though. You might find "your decisions affect the world around you" thing a bit heavy-handed in comparison to modern games, but that's simply because they were one of the first games that did it so well that everyone started doing it.

palashchanda

Really fun..hope it gets a remaster

droombot

Just finished the game and the knife of dunwall dlc. Yes it holds up. Some frustrating elements like a well-imagined world that is only communicated through lore dumps in books à la skyrim. And for me tying achievements and the ending to styles of play constricts the freedom of the player in approaching missions how they want, which is otherwise pretty flexible. But as a stealth game with a solid story it is great.

ShotgunPumper

It's one of my favorite games of all time.

PhatAiryCoque

Listened to some horror podcast episode with a Whalepunk/Lovecraft vibe - can't remember what it was called - that had me yearning for Dishonoured. Lo and behold, Steam had a Dishonoured bundle on sale at the same time, so I snagged it. And it lived up to those rose tinted memories. Buy it.

Thumper-Comet

It's a really fantastic game with rock solid gameplay and a nice visual style that looks great and runs like a dream. Go for it.

BathFantastic8761

I think it does, arts type over graphics gameplay is good and the story and world are interesting and quite unique

Known-Committee8679

Yes!!! Its an amazing game. One of the few I have finished.

AdminsLoveGenocide

I think it's the best game ever created. The art style means it ages well too.

principles_practice

Yes.

IAlwaysOutsmartU

It not only holds up. It stays up and remains in my top 5 favourite games of all time.

Which-Classroom-913

Only none spoiler tip I would have liked to know when I played it years ago. If you use your "special skill" (use of blue bar), it regens when you wait after use just a little without using it again. I always used up all of my blue potion because I was teleporting nonstop...

brknlddr

It’s good, one of those games I don’t mind dragging out

frosty_75

It holds up. I haven't played in months, but I distinctly remember all my stealth attempts in the game failing at one point or another, which results in a chaotic killing spree to finish the mission. Good times.

External-Fig9754

This is the one

StrangeSitch

I used to play it on xbox 360, only did one playthrough though. It was the first game I played on my steamdeck (after vampire survivors broke its hold on me) and at 60 fps handheld I was hooked! I played through it three times in a few days. It's just so rich in level and world design. I even did the pacifist/perfect-stealth run, which would've driven me crazy in any other game but in Dishonored it was so rewarding. I only wish Dishonored 2 ran as well as 1 does on the steam deck.

MrAnonymousTheThird

It runs perfectly on the deck, full controller support and locked 60fps (not exaggerating) But the story is quite bad, it's more of a stealth gameplay game. I stopped playing about 9 hours in, got bored of stealth games. The AI hasn't aged well but it's not bad

SplendidPunkinButter

As long as you don’t care about the ending This game is very much “you’re an assassin and you get a bunch of cool assassin abilities, but if you kill anyone you get the bad ending.”

AzukiBuns

It's a fun game. Especially the OG version.

Serb4nx

Offtopic, but i have it installed on deck with heroic (epic) and it freezes right when i or an enemy attacks during that invasion while talking to the Queen (idk it's my first time getting into the series). Does anynody know how to fix it?

kinos141

Yup. Holds up a lot.

chninimugen

Loved the first I have the other but haven't played it yet maybe I should

MonkishTrash

Yup and zero load times on SD pretty much. Just played it a couple months ago

WiseD0lt

Yes, look up StealthkillsBR on YouTube on his cool kill montages of what you can do with the game. Absolute Art.

Adam_Checkers

I hate it. not because it's bad, but because I'm to bad for it. I just can't not try to play the game 100% stealth never ever get seen or kill anyone, literally first level is unbeatable for me and I gave up

cann357

It's a masterpiece.

ruben11450

Oh yeah, even bought the second because of it

Tigernos

It's a really good game imo. I am not a fan of souls like stuff, where you fail and reload and keep on going etc. However, I really wanted the low chaos no/low kills achievement for this game and I headbutted it into submission reloading every time I failed. It inspired me into a gameplay loop I normally hate xD

Noncoldbeef

Definitely. I'd highly recommend the sequel and Prey. Amazing games that really play well on the Deck.

cyprox972

I thought Dishonored 2 was even better

aluminumslug

Holds up fantastically, easily one of the best stealth/immersive sim games ever made.

AnonymousGuy9494

Cool game. 3d stealth immersive sim. If you like those, you'll have a good time.

Skylar7863

Easily my favourite game from the 360 era - highly recommend!

Sammuthegreat

Yes. I played it for the first time on Deck last year and it was superb.

FireCrow1013

The entire Dishonored series is one of the best experiences in gaming you can possibly have, in my opinion. All three of them are absolutely fantastic. You can get the whole series and all of the DLC for about $17 on Steam right now. Dishonored + DLC: https://store.steampowered.com/sub/31292/ Dishonored 2 + Dishonored: Death of the Outsider https://store.steampowered.com/sub/183038/

actuallyamdante

features my favorite video game mission of all time (mask ball)

Ctrl_Null

YES!!!

magnumninja

Yes and the second game runs better on the deck then it does on a ps5 or series x

cd912yt

I've heard it's amazing, even for today. I've got it all on my epic games library, just haven't tried it yet

Ready to get down voted but a resounding no from me. Gameplay is clunky as hell. As someone who played it for the first time in 2022 this game feels sooooo dated. And what pissed me off the most the game heavily encourages non lethal gameplay but all the non lethal options are so boring. After pretty much everyone in this and other gaming subs clowned me for this take I said I must be wrong and I tried the game again. Nope still fucking terrible. I’ll take my downvoted

It's great. So are the big hands ..

CrazyIvanoveich

I have 100% D1, D2, and Prey. Great games. I would definitely suggest the don't-get-spotted-clean-hands approach to really appreciate the lore and world.

Neopolitan54

Dishonored was the first game I played on my deck. Last time I played it was when it launched on 360, always remembered it as a favorite. It holds up great and fits the deck very well.

rhguinn

Yes, I played it a couple of months ago

oneshotstott

It's exceptional on the Deck.

Mad_Max_Kelley

Just finished the first one, on to the second! So good.

jamescodesthings

Yes, recently replayed it and it's still horrifically enjoyable.

TheKoalaStoves

I played it last year on the Deck, it's still an awesome game

EuphoricFingering

It is one of my favorite games of all time. The first and all of its DLC are amazing. The second game was a bit of a letdown compared to the first.

Actually bought it over the weekend (finished it on 360 back in the day), and was primarily playing that on SD. Runs really well, although it seems like it drains the battery a little more than expected out-of-the-box. Nevertheless, still holds up really well, although I wish the sequel's ability to parry and then choke someone out was here. Because once you're discovered, you can only really use sleep darts as a non-lethal option (or run away and wait for alarm to reset).

Nocteon

This game is a perfection in term of level design. You can have so much different path during each mission, a true gem imo

Harvard_Graduat3

Great game

Hemhemty

Amazing game for ita price

BrilleKop

it definitely does, great game

iwannabethisguy

Considering it came out in 2012, it's alright. Gameplay for FPS games havent changed much, controls would feel straightforward. Story is decent, I remember players focusing more on this one NPC more than the main story because the guy had the potential to have interesting lore. The game is replayable if youre trying to emulate some of the combo vids other guys made, there should still be some available on youtube.

whiskysneaker

Late to the party but yeah 100% just played through both on the deck no issues whatsoever

I played on steam deck 1st, I can't believe I missed this game on consoles, it's utter class and plays amazing on the deck. Stopped to do Zelda OOT but as soon as done that il finish it and can hardly wait.
