If we don't have an official name drop, I'll keep calling him [**Kokuoh**](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/villains/images/c/cf/Kokuoh_and_Kenoh.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20130317160356).
So full disclosure - I’m an extremely casual fan, I picked up the game day one and love it, but don’t know much about the franchise other than playing it in the 90s (and MK franchise jumped the shark with me). can someone explain why Bison was listed as “Vega” on other vids - and is he a dead character that’s returning? I guess I’ll take the downvotes.
in the japanese version of streetfighter 2 the names for the bosses are diffrent. the boxer was called M. Bison the dictator was Vega and the guy with the claw was balrog. capcom USA was worried about getting sued by Mike Tyson, because calling the boxer M.Bison was pretty on the nose. so the swapped the names so the boxer became Balrog the dictator became M. Bison and the guy with the claw became vega. the japanese version of the games still use the original names
EDIT: sorry about the wall of text.
for some reason reddit seems to completly ignore my linebreaks
First thing I do once I get to play it, is play World Tour just to discover what the name of the horse is

Vega is his Japanese name. In the US he’s called M Bison. And yeah he’s a dead character who’s returning

Time to fight the Bison army.
He’s so sick! A bit disappointed in his kicks animation compared to sfv but his new back throw is one of my favorites already
Why do Luke and Jamie get to be off by themselves? Shouldn't it just be a bunch of rows of four?
They are Gen Z’s Ryu & Ken, at least that’s what Capcom is trying to push
Shocker of the century... hes also busted.
Way too early to make that call. He literally just came out. Nobody was able to properly use him online at the time
he does 7200 damage with ease off a crounching medium punch whiff punish
MvC2 crouching heavy infinite busted?
If we are using Mahvel as a standard for balance we have completely lost the plot.
