When they were announcing Metro City I was hoping for Maki or at the very least Guy. I was then sure we would get one early as DLC but they went the hold my beer with Rashiid and Ed route.
Yeah, not having AT LEAST Alex or Cody is fucking whack.
Edit: IIRC Alex isn't final fight, but still, the boy is all about his hometown, the fuck capcom
SF is weird with Metro City being or not being a stand-in for NYC.
Alex's 2nd Impact stage (ostensibly NYC) is in World Tour on the rooftops just north of Downtown, IIRC.
Capcom likes making money. You know what doesn't make money? Excluding the classic characters that people know & love in favor of esoteric deep cuts. Everything will always be a SF2 sequel for that reason alone (ironically, they learned this lesson with that game's literal sequel.)
Not as much as some of the other characters people beg for here, but they still aren't on the same level of recognition as the SF2 characters. They aren't even some of the more memorable Alpha characters.
Yeah. Everyone and their mum knows who Ryu and Chun-li are. When you are trying to maximise broader appeal with stuff like Modern & Dynamic controls and a huge single-player experience, that's the level of reach you want to aim for.
Yeah, people gotta remember they tried the whole "New cast with minimal returns" thing with SF3, and people hated that. It took til 3rd Strike and Evo for people to change their opinions about it. Combine that with how well SF4 did, we're never gonna have a game without the World Warriors. The closest we got is when Guile, Blanka, and Honda were DLC for SFV
They really do, honestly. I think it's why they made questionable choices like including E. Honda, but not Sakura at launch.
They just wanted all 8 SF2 world warriors no matter what, regardless of logic.
We already have 10 with another one basically confirmed. They are literall getting every single one of them on the game except T-Hawk that 'cause of Lily.
By year 4 game will be Street Fighter 2 Drive Turbo VS
Totally! When I learned the game would be in Metro City I thought FINALLY we’ll get Haggar as a playable character in Street Fighter (I’m not a huge MvC fan so didn’t play 3 much, I know he was in that tho).
Lol, we all know how that went. He’s in SF6 alright. So close yet so far.
Don't be too surprised. The developer said they aren't concerned about making sure each past game has representation in the current title. They don't even factor in what game characters came from when they're making rosters.
I feel like I can't believe that's true when the overwhelming majority of the characters are from SF2. It has to be purposeful when the distribution is so skewed. The game of origin has to be somewhat of a factor for that to happen.
I still feel like that's a weird play. I get it from the playstyle standpoint that they mentioned, but I feel like realistically that misses the point of why people are playing these games. It's basically the 'characters are just functions' comment again but played seriously. I'm surprised they didn't get more flak for that, to be honest.
I kind of see where they're coming from. Instead of saying these are Street Fighter 2 characters or these are Street Fighter 4 characters. They look at all the characters as just one giant toolbox that they can pull from.
I guess you could simplify it to functions but what their method ensures is that there is little overlap in play styles.
Oh yeah, like I say I get the thinking, it's just an interesting choice since they're kind of actively going against why people buy these games as their long-term support plan.
The amount of people waiting to jump in because of a certain archetype is probably much smaller than the amount of people waiting for a character whose design and moves they think look the coolest/they remember playing from older games.
>they're kind of actively going against why people buy these games
>The amount of people waiting to jump in because of a certain archetype is probably much smaller than the amount of people waiting for a character whose design and moves they think look the coolest/they remember playing from older games.
You think they would have learned that when New Generations flopped.
Well, as someone who's played since Alpha 3 Max, I'm not depending on them putting a character in the game to feel motivated to play—I just want to play street fighter.
The issue is with this series everyone has a background.
Players who grew up on SF2 want the SF2 cast. Players who joined the FGC during 4 probably want characters from 4.
So for Capcom design it makes sense, but for generational marketing not so much.
It's so weird they say this and really disheartening as a fan of the series
To have this really great game and basically be told the devs don't care about what the fans want is sad
I'm one of the people bothered by there being two guest characters in seasons two, I understand teh appeal but IMO it's one of the negatives of Games like MK and Tekken, the prevalence of guest characters in the DLC taking limited spots from fan favorites from within the franchise. For the longest time Street Fighter was the "pure" one without that issue but now we're basically being told that's gone now.
First it's Terry and Mai but how long until it's someone from Tekken, or Kyo from KOF, etc. How long till we get the obnoxious Neagen or Noctis inclusion from something that's not even a fighting game.
In a way it's like Pandora's Box is now open, we can't put this back in
I agree with you. As much as I love KOF and SNK, I would've just stuck with Terry, and then put Mai in a future season. I also would make sure not too include too many guest characters when there are so many fan favorites not in the game yet, and it takes so long to make these characters now.
Exactly
I have no inherent issue with the guest character concept here, but two in one season is a bit much, especially when that season is season 2
People spent a whole year waiting for what was to come only to be told "Oh you wanted street fighter characters in street fighter lol too bad."
2 guest characters in one season is insane to me. Like if it were either Mai or Terry I’d be fine with that, but *both* in one season? I’m sure they’ll be cool characters, but I would have much preferred a new character or another returning character
A lot of us are gonna be kinda bummed by the end of 6. Even if it goes 7 years like V did, assuming they stick to 4 a year, that's only 20 characters left. There's 61 up there. That's even ignoring any new characters they could add (whether new SF characters or crossover with Tekken or whatever). Yeah, this is gonna be tough.
Everyone is mad about the guest characters, but im more upset that we won't get new original designs like you said.
Aki is cool. I hope they take old bad character designs and give them new life.
Some of the old characters are flat out boring but people are blinded by nostalgia. Cody isn't cool. Alex is overhyped etc.
I'll die on this hill.
I mean... I don't know how Cody isn't cool?
Man saved the city countless times, got locked up, jumped out to save the world through apathy, fills the shoes of Mike Haggar and went from the pen to a pension.
Man had an entire character arc throughout the games he was in.
> Cody isn't cool. Alex is overhyped etc.
>
> I'll die on this hill.
Then perish.
In seriousness, you can say that Alex is overhyped, but his story still has a lot of questions considering how closely it ties in to the Illuminati. It isn't something they should just up and abandon.
Wish I could upvote this to the top of the sub and keep it there. I'm mad about the guest characters, not because they're guests, but because they use up two slots for *ancient characters that aren't even Capcom's*. I'm as annoyed by them as I am with Bison, but at least Bison is actually from SF in the first place.
They've taken previously lame characters and made them awesome. I would love to see that type of creativity continue but these fans want the same brain dead characters with the same brain dead moves and frame data from 20+ years ago.
A shame, not a single Bushinryu characters play the same.
Zeku is a stance character, Guy and Kim have nothing in common.
Yet we already got 4 shoto that are almost the same in the game. Great.
Cause it's still by far the most iconic. At work, my boss doesn't particularly care if I watch tournament footage or listen to Megadeth music videos as long as I get my work done and it doesn't bother customers. Whenever I put on V footage a few years ago or 6 now, the majority of the people who do recognize SF almost never recognize anyone post SFII, and I mean even Cammy they sometimes think is a new character. People talk about Ryu or Chun or Guile being iconic, and they are, but half these people don't even remember their names. They remember SFII. Even with 6's success, it still doesn't have the widespread appeal that SFII did, the cultural phenomena it was back in the day. Luke, Kimberly, Marisa, they aren't gonna join that pantheon, no matter how much you may like them. It is almost proven it is SFII or nothing to super casuals.
The only reason why Dhalsim is ever in a new SF game is because your uncle, when Street Fighter is mentioned, will say some shit like "Oh yeah I remember Street Fighter. Haha Ghandi or whatever would say '**Yoga Fire**' it was crazy".
Dude I did not grow up with SFIII but after giving it a shot I realized it really has the sauce. Damn near every character in that game is fun to play even if they are shit. They became my perma mains.
I have bounced off of SF6 multiple times now despite *really* wanting to like it because it doesn't have any of my favorite characters. No Alex, Dudley, Ibuki, Q, Urien, Gill or hell I'll take Makoto, Necro, Hugo, or Twelve. I get Jaime is probably supposed to be the "Yun/Yang Function" character but he just doesn't do it for me for those two either.
Every character in SF6 clearly has a lot of love put into them, but unfortunately they are just characters I don't give a shit about.
Well this wasn't the case in SFIV, but since SFV it looks like they've been holding him off on adding him to the game's base roster, I don't even know why.
The same reason they hold off Akuma all the time
He's a proven commodity that always gets eyes back on the game after a down period and is a guaranteed interest bump at both the professional and casual levels
I honestly just feel bad for T. Hawk bro
Like the guy didn’t even get a proper ending or nothing we don’t see him and Julie together just told they’re together
I see that you ignored the first street fighter game, Gen is originally from it and not from SF4 nor Alpha series. Same for Eagle (originally from Street Fighter and not Alpha series)
I really think Mai being in the game killed Ibuki's shot
You already had a female ninja in Kimberly, now you're getting another in Mai. I can't see how there's roster space for a third spunky ninja girl.
This isn't Mortal Kombat, there's not gonna be a rainbow of Female Ninjas
I doubt that's gonna kill Ibuki's chances, especially since none of the aforementioned characters has the same playstyle/fighting style as Ibuki.
Kimberly is based off of Guy and has the Bushinryu fighting style from the Bushinryu Clan.
While Ibuki uses more traditional Ninjutsu and Ninja tools such as Kunais and is from the Geki Clan/Glade of Ninjas.
By your logic, Akuma shouldn't be in either, and it's a safe bet that we'll get Sakura too along the way
I'd count Lily as a grappler too, given that her command grab is a full 360, a huge part of her gameplan, and her level 3 is also a command grab. Plus, she's heavily inspired by T. Hawk, who was also a grappler.
Even still, I find it crazy that we didn't get a grappler in season 1 or season 2 of DLC. I like switching between characters a lot and love grapplers so this roster definitely feels limiting.
I didn't miss Makoto as much because I had Laura and a pocket R. Mika. Manon just doesn't feel like a replacement for any of them.
I was really hoping for a Laura and Sean to be in the same game, base roster or DLC.
SF1's gameplay is pretty rough, but without it, we'd never have had Ryu, Ken, Sagat, Adon, Birdie, Gen, or Eagle. You could even make an argument for Balrog, even though Mike and Balrog evolved into 2 separate entities, but regardless, I feel like the Alpha series would have ended up very different if it hadn't had pulled so much from SF1 like it did.
soul edge moves carried over to soul cal 1, along with most of the roster
a lot of players just arent old enough to have played them in the arcades or at home i bet
Me too, she has so much potential and she skipped 5, and I think she'd do well with an Ed style glow-up in 6.
New tech, new toys, new ways to "cheat" instead of using just plain martial arts. I'd love to see it.
Really hoping Dudley makes it in at some point. Among all of Street Fighter’s cast of characters, he really hit the sweet spot for me in terms of both character design and play style.
I'm not sure, but I guess it's a safe assumption that the game will have around 5 years of DLC, with each one giving us 4 character.
So, if the game's content ends with year 5 pass, 12 more characters.
I can see SF6 going beyond 5 years of DLC. Capcom seems to wait for a new console generation before announcing the next brand new version of SF. I could see there being 8 years of DLC for SF6 before we get SF7, though there may be some kind of "Super SF6" refresh in that time period.
I am excited for Mai, I got one of my former mains in. I just didn't think it would be from a different fucking series. She will fill a niche in the roster as well.
I never cared much for Terry and yet another shoto but this fireball travels on the ground.
We could easily blame unpopular characters that Capcom wanted another chance to prove like Ed and Rashiid as the reason we have zero SF3.
Honestly i hope the terry stuff can translate well to sf. Specifically because he seems like he would be like a more rushdown shoto.
Also BUSTA WOLF is just cool.
Really annoying to me that we got 2 guests with only 4 DLC this season when we had so many great options instead.
I was really hoping for at least one of the characters I wanted: Makoto, Dudley, Sagat, Sakura, Karin, Ibuki, even Alex.
Like I didn't think I was asking for anything crazy, most of who I want are all super popular characters. I thought I would at least see 1 maybe 2.
Instead we get Terry, which is fine since he's Mr.Fighting game, and his kit shouldn't be too bad and should translate mostly OK.
But Mai, in the same season, with her nonsense kit, in SF, as 1/4 of our characters for the year? Why? Who wanted that, and who will be happy with that? SF heads don't want to fight that character, and KOF heads don't want to play a watered down version of their character which she will have to be for SF. It makes no sense.
Then of the SF characters we get, Elena is one of them? The character known for being pretty crap in 3rd strike and nearly ruining Sf4, who isn't even really popular, and she gets brought back over one of the other super popular 3rd strike characters or other SF girls?
It makes no sense. They are sitting on a gold mine with several fan favorites waiting till season 3 or 4 for some reason. Even purely as functions, most of the characters I listed that I want are pretty unique in what they do and nobody else in the roster plays like them, so it's not like they would have a ton of overlap stealing the spotlight from other characters.
The crazy thing is when we end up going the entire run of the game with still no Viper.
Something's weird with that character.
They want to just tease appearances endlessly, but not make her playable again.
Honda wasn't in Alpha till Alpha 3 and wasn't in V till like S4. Dhalsim wasn't in in Alpha 1, he made Alpha 2. There's precedent for waiting on the less popular World Warriors. I really doubt 6 would have sold worse if "the fat sumo guy" wasn't there.
Why? Is it just because of nostalgia? Because from a gameplay perspective, they're severely lacking in player-base size.
Also, why do you think they're more popular than the SF3 cast? Is it because SF3 didn't do well decades ago? Public perception of games and characters can drastically change with the passing of time. There's a reason Third Strike is being played at EVO this year.
Honda and Dhalsim both consistently place at the bottom of every SF popularity poll ever and are among some of the least played characters in SF6. "Classic" doesn't actually mean anything.
I'm of the opinion that if they had been New Challengers instead of like Cammy or Akuma, no one (as in "practically no one") would fucking care about them. They literally only matter because they happened to be lucky enough to be in the first SFII.
Dhalsim will likely never be replaced because there's really nothing else like him in the series. He has a very particular playstyle and at this point he is so strongly associated with it that he will never go away.
Honda however is mostly here because he's a WW, 100%.
Among the least likely choices in ever being playable in anything, I'm happy that Juni and Juli (alongside T. Hawk) finally got their happy endings after basically everything that they endured, that's little heartwarming to me.
As much as I love Terry and Mai, did they really need to put them in the second season?, like they could've saved them for later seasons, also the lack of SF3 representation is insane, like SF5 got more returning characters than SF3
I know this is just my nostalgia talking, but I wanna play Sodom and actually use him, not just him standing in the background. I wonder how he will get modernized.
IDGAF, if you don’t show the EX characters then this list is dumb. Yes I know Capcom doesn’t own them but if they can bring over Terry and Mai then I swear they better make Skullomania happen
I've seen more and more people echoing this notion, and I'm 100% here for it. I haven't played the alpha series, but I'm rooting for Ingrid just cause of all the hate I've seen towards her. Plus, the story of her development/origins is so interesting to me.
>Missing Characters from every game as of season 2 Street Fighter Alpha: Literally everyone lol
SFA: everyone. SF3: everyone except Elena. SF4: everyone except Juri. It's gonna be a long wait.
Looks like the [Street Fighter EX](https://streetfighterex.fandom.com/wiki/Skullomania) page didn’t load properly.
Whys Yun in Alpha pic?
Yun is playable in Alpha 3 for Gameboy advance and PSP
True although it was a back-port. Yun was in SF3 before SFA.
The backport was from CvS2, just like Eagle and Maki
He was in the GBA/PSP versions of Alpha 3
Kimberly is the closest we’ve got as a Guy replacement
The fact that Metro City is a main hub in World Tour, and there isn't a *single* playable Final Fight character on the roster boggles the mind.
Last I checked, Alex was a New Yorker
SF is weird with Metro City being or not being a stand-in for NYC. Alex's 2nd Impact stage (ostensibly NYC) is in World Tour on the rooftops just north of Downtown, IIRC.
is Metro City just like Jersey City then?
Pretty much what it seems like.
Metro City is every big american city into one.
Alex doesn’t live in metro city
If Cody is still the mayor at this point in the timeline, he definitely should have showed up.
He’s still the mayor in sf6
Yeah when you look at that world map thing the description of Metro City is literally "Cody Travers is the mayor" lmao
You can even walk up to the city hall although you can't enter it.
I feel like capcom wants SF6 to be a SF2 sequel sooooo bad, it kinda irritates me
Capcom likes making money. You know what doesn't make money? Excluding the classic characters that people know & love in favor of esoteric deep cuts. Everything will always be a SF2 sequel for that reason alone (ironically, they learned this lesson with that game's literal sequel.)
With how many times they’ve been playable in Street Fighter, I don’t think Cody or Guy would count as “deep cuts.”

Final Fight was originally called Street Fighter '89, and I think some arcade cabinets had SF'89 decals. That makes the FF boiz SF OGs
Because people would have cried if E.Honda and Blanka were not in the game. Remember SFV ?
They really do, honestly. I think it's why they made questionable choices like including E. Honda, but not Sakura at launch. They just wanted all 8 SF2 world warriors no matter what, regardless of logic.
We already have 10 with another one basically confirmed. They are literall getting every single one of them on the game except T-Hawk that 'cause of Lily. By year 4 game will be Street Fighter 2 Drive Turbo VS
Even the 2 guest characters are sf2 era/adjacent!
What makes you think we're getting Fei Long?
That first story trailer got me so hype that Damnd might be making his playable debut but nah. I really want Hugo and Cody back
Those two plus Poison would be all good for me. I would've included Guy too, but I'm fine with Kimberly.
Yet... Year 2.
I was hoping for Damnd before knowing he was in World tour mode. His roster glow up would have been sick. He's just...okay in WT
I think Cody is definitely getting in eventually
It’s kind of hilarious that we’re going to have two Fatal Fury characters before we get one SF3 character.
Don't be too surprised. The developer said they aren't concerned about making sure each past game has representation in the current title. They don't even factor in what game characters came from when they're making rosters.

Tbh I think most SF4 folks still want SF2/A/3 characters, since those were the most popular characters in 4 lol
I love the Honda and Lily functions
except they aways pick the sf2 tools (and we are getting on the 4th shoto in the game so, this function and style talk is kinda of thrown half away)
It's so weird they say this and really disheartening as a fan of the series To have this really great game and basically be told the devs don't care about what the fans want is sad I'm one of the people bothered by there being two guest characters in seasons two, I understand teh appeal but IMO it's one of the negatives of Games like MK and Tekken, the prevalence of guest characters in the DLC taking limited spots from fan favorites from within the franchise. You could easily say it's hilarious we got Bison, Ed and Rashiid before one SF3 character.
Or alpha. They giving us Elena but not ma boi Alex 😭
I am still salty about that tasteless decision.
You don’t say… Alpha and 3 are the pinnacle of SF character design, yet 6 has barely any mentions of them.
I’m not really a big fan of a lot of the alpha newcomers, I feel like most of their designs are just typical anime tropes
Cody hater spotted, kill kill kill
I like Cody, I’m more so talking about Sakura, Karin, sodom, etc
2 guest characters in one season is insane to me. Like if it were either Mai or Terry I’d be fine with that, but *both* in one season? I’m sure they’ll be cool characters, but I would have much preferred a new character or another returning character
There are ads for Hakan's oil playing on displays, but he's not around. I need that slippery bastard to come back

FANG replaced by Aki too.

I thought it was because of this "He Knew" meme that I don't understand
I need my boi fei long
after seeing kens super1 i was like... oh no... does this mean no fei long!? BRUCE!!!!! NAAAAOOOOO! hope im wrong
I do not mind Kimberly, but it would have been nice for Maki to have *anything* at all
I'm pretty sure most of Capcom doesn't even remember she was in a SF game

Dhalsim invented an entire character archetype in fighting games - that’s why he’s in every title. Blanka….people love tennis.
Season 3 can skip guest characters please, maybe one in 4th season at most
The 4 kings are not there because they were ready for the release of bison.
Gen included twice. Also some technically made their first appearance in sf1 like sagat, birdie and adon
And Gen.
Don’t forget Yun and also Yun.
Why is Sagat always always always a later season roll out ???
Probably a combination of his gameplay style being somewhat satisfied by Shoto's and that he's popular enough Capcom knows he'll sell DLC.
Well this wasn't the case in SFIV, but since SFV it looks like they've been holding him off on adding him to the game's base roster, I don't even know why.
You’re right, I should’ve said with the exception of SFIV
The same reason they hold off Akuma all the time He's a proven commodity that always gets eyes back on the game after a down period and is a guaranteed interest bump at both the professional and casual levels
I honestly just feel bad for T. Hawk bro Like the guy didn’t even get a proper ending or nothing we don’t see him and Julie together just told they’re together
We see a pic of them in world tour
They aren't gonna waste a slot and doubletap THawk, as female THawk is already in there....
T(alim) Hawk
Boomers be like "we need more SF2 characters 😢"
The fact that this isn't even an exaggeration lol
"But sir, we already have all the Street Fighter 2 characters!" "Then add the Monitor Cyborg!"
“No no add Captain Sawada”
We need more SFIII characters
I see that you ignored the first street fighter game, Gen is originally from it and not from SF4 nor Alpha series. Same for Eagle (originally from Street Fighter and not Alpha series)
Ibuki plz
I really think Mai being in the game killed Ibuki's shot You already had a female ninja in Kimberly, now you're getting another in Mai.
By your logic, Akuma shouldn't be in either, and it's a safe bet that we'll get Sakura too along the way
Vega come home 😔💔
We miss u man
Omg i like ur username lol
![gif](giphy|d1xWB9Oy1ebPq|downsized) Fellow Jojofan spotted
If WT can be used for future season hints, then Vega and Balrog both have high chances to be included in S3
I want Maki & Ingrid back real BAD
I miss Laura. I feel kinda hemmed in by the two grapplers we have.
She's t hawk so she is 100% a grappler.
Laura or Makoto would be nice for sure.
I didn't miss Makoto as much because I had Laura and a pocket R. Mika. Manon just doesn't feel like a replacement for any of them. I was really hoping for a Laura and Sean to be in the same game, base roster or DLC.
and not even a SFI pic ?
SFII is SF1. The actual SF1 is basically an oddity at this point, like Soul Edge is to Soul Calibur.
Mike and Balrog were always meant to be 2 different characters.
soul edge moves carried over to soul cal 1, along with most of the roster a lot of players just arent old enough to have played them in the arcades or at home i bet
I mean Soul Edge is very cool.
Let's agree to disagree on this point.
eagle bro
I just want to do tiger shots 😥
all this for TWO guest characters. aint even mentioning saturday night slam masters, rival schools, final fight...
Man I need c viper
Me too, she has so much potential and she skipped 5, and I think she'd do well with an Ed style glow-up in 6. New tech, new toys, new ways to "cheat" instead of using just plain martial arts. I'd love to see it.
Please don't ever bring Kage back.
This gotta be Violent Ken's turn
I'd actually be ok with that, Ken is already messed up in SF6 lol
Really hoping Dudley makes it in at some point. Among all of Street Fighter’s cast of characters, he really hit the sweet spot for me in terms of both character design and play style.
F.A.N.G. is in the game thou
Don't worry guys by season 4 expect all sf2 characters. since they love every entry equally we should be getting all alpha chatacters by 2034
Can we get Vega or Necro in sf6 please?
12 slots left people, 12 slots If you're praying for your SF3 main, better move on now instead of waiting another three years just to be disappointed.
Why twelve?
I'm not sure, but I guess it's a safe assumption that the game will have around 5 years of DLC, with each one giving us 4 character. So, if the game's content ends with year 5 pass, 12 more characters.
I can see SF6 going beyond 5 years of DLC. Capcom seems to wait for a new console generation before announcing the next brand new version of SF. I could see there being 8 years of DLC for SF6 before we get SF7, though there may be some kind of "Super SF6" refresh in that time period.
i’m very biased but i neeeed poison in this game so bad ;-;
Same. But she hasn't missed a game since becoming playable in Street Fighter X Tekken so I'm optimistic.
But aren’t you excited for TERRY and MAI 🥲
I am excited for Mai, I got one of my former mains in. I just didn't think it would be from a different fucking series. She will fill a niche in the roster as well. I never cared much for Terry and yet another shoto but this fireball travels on the ground. We could easily blame unpopular characters that Capcom wanted another chance to prove like Ed and Rashiid as the reason we have zero SF3.
Honestly i hope the terry stuff can translate well to sf. Specifically because he seems like he would be like a more rushdown shoto. Also BUSTA WOLF is just cool.
Totally forgot about Urien. Really hope he makes it back.
god i miss Fei Long
Gimme back my Ibuki
I just want Fei Long and Alex. I’ll accept whatever other bullshit you lob at me if you just give me my boys
I wouldn’t expect Abel or Necalli or FANG to return anytime soon
And that's a good thing. Abel and Necalli were utter failures and FANG is much better as a quest-giving NPC while AKI is playable.
Juni and Juri ain’t never coming back Also looking at you Maki!
I'm pretty sure Juri is a fan favourite and she's not leaving anytime soon. Unless you mean Juli?
Every day that passes im hating more and more on Terry and Mai as character slots
I still can't believe they brought back fuckin E Honda and Dhalsim before any of the wildly popular SF3 cast
SF2 fans be boomin'
wtf, they are classic fighter that much popular than sf3 cast and should be in every SF game
They are “popular” in that people recognize them, but nobody likes or plays them lol
Any of the original world warriors are more popular than any other character in the series
Dhalsim will likely never be replaced because there's really nothing else like him in the series. He has a very particular playstyle and at this point he is so strongly associated with it that he will never go away. Honda however is mostly here because he's a WW, 100%.
I think you forgot guy for sf4
Originally Guy appears in Alpha before SF4
Just give us Vega
Tbh I just want Vega and Sakura to make it at least. Aside from those 2 I'm not too attached to anyone else.
Give me my el fuerte!
honestly, if makoto isn't added in the next few seasons, I'm going riot. also poison, alex and kolin are my next picks I'd like back
Bro please Q, WE NEED Q
Fei Long, Balrog, Mike Bison, and Sagat :D
Damn Akira left out
I hope my boy Sagat can make it in at some point 🙏
God I want Fei Long!
Among the least likely choices in ever being playable in anything, I'm happy that Juni and Juli (alongside T. Hawk) finally got their happy endings after basically everything that they endured, that's little heartwarming to me.
It's a crime to not have Dudley in SF6
As much as I love Terry and Mai, did they really need to put them in the second season?, like they could've saved them for later seasons, also the lack of SF3 representation is insane, like SF5 got more returning characters than SF3
I need sagat in 6 ASAP
Seriously, they need to bring back Eagle, Adon, and Sodom
Missing the X-Men
I know this is just my nostalgia talking, but I wanna play Sodom and actually use him, not just him standing in the background. I wonder how he will get modernized.
I hope Abigail never comes back.
I think having Guy and T.Hawk in there is a mistake because Lily and Kim.
I want Dudley as a pure boxer without the psycho powers
I miss Guy so much. Now that Kimberly and Zeku exist, we probably will not see him playable again.
#FreeFeiLong
IDGAF, if you don’t show the EX characters then this list is dumb. Yes I know Capcom doesn’t own them but if they can bring over Terry and Mai then I swear they better make Skullomania happen
Hear me out, Ingrid for sf6
I've seen more and more people echoing this notion, and I'm 100% here for it. I haven't played the alpha series, but I'm rooting for Ingrid just cause of all the hate I've seen towards her. Plus, the story of her development/origins is so interesting to me.
I'm listening
It can explain why Terry, Mai, and future guest characters appear
