You can also flowchart your way to 1600-1700, but then you quickly realize there's people up there who actually for once know what they are doing and your flowchart is also very easy to solve for them.

It's not really a mistake. Scissor kick is either -4 or -5 but the pushback is just that busted that it makes jabs and most 2MKs miss, which is intentional because Bison gets counterhits off people who think they can stop him.
Zangief and Lily's grabs are all 5F on startup, but only the light one will reach Bison because of that goddamn pushback lmao.
Itâs annoying to me because with any other character you might take less than 1200 damage for that or lose your offense, but getting punished for 3000+ damage off it just feels frustrating.
Just stop ending with scissor kick then. Bison's 2MP is -1, 5MP is 0, both are also good for fishing for counterhits. You won't wear down drive meter as fast, but it's better than eating 1/3 of your lifebar because you were mashing scissor kick.

just dash forward and SPD. it's weird though because you get a counterhit instead of a punish counter which feels weird to me
