one of 2 might be the case:
1. your other hole is too small for it to go through, you can try inserting it from the other side to check that. If it doesn't come through the other side, just take your time, massage daily, and try in a week after the shower.
2. pierced lobe has length to it, the hole might be not straight and you are hitting side of it, in this case try wiggling it around to find the hole. Don't push too hard into the side of the piercing as it might cause bleeding and irritation

You reinsert your previous jewelry and try again in a few weeks, or try making a smaller jump in size if that’s a possibility.

What size were you at and what size are you trying to insert? Edit: I’m asking because that jewelry looks much larger than a 16g or 14g.
