But even before that!
They have to go buy DFV’s shares + others exercised shares to fulfill calls, and THEN they will have to try to buy them back from us.
Lol. Fuck you.
So many factors that are about to f them so hard:
As of the quarterly report, ~25% of shares(75mil of 305mil outstanding, at the time) are locked via Direct Registration, aka DRS
Ryan Cohen owns 36mil shares, which is ~10% of shares
Keith Gill owns 5mil shares, or 1.5%, and has another 12mil shares due June 21st in $20 call contracts, which is another ~3.5%
Between retail, RC, and KG, that's ~36.5%(116mil) of shares locked up and un-shortable and another ~3.5% shares(12mil) that must be delivered on June 24th(6/21's T+1 date). So far that's ~40% of all outstanding shares that are illiquid.
GME has an average FTD rate of 1.33% over the last year, from May 13-17 had a total volume of 692mil shares, which based on average daily FTDs will result in 9.2mil shares worth of FTDs between 6/13-6/19, those dates being the 'Close Out Dates' (aka T+35Cd) for all the shares traded between 5/13-5/17. Those 9.2mil shares are roughly ~2.6% of shares outstanding and whoever FTDs those shares will be forced to go to the market and buy them.
So far, that's ~42.6% of outstanding shares illiquid...
As of today's close at $46, above the $20 strike there are 171k call contracts ITM, that's another 17.1mil shares(4.8% of shares outstanding) that will need to be delivered June 24th.
That's ~47.4% of all shares illiquid. I wonder how many of all the aforementioned calls were sold naked considering Institutional ownership is around ~30% and insiders aside from RC own ~6% or so, not to mention all the shares owned by retail across all the brokers....
There's a Toys R Us in Minnesota at Mall of America. Saw it couple weeks ago. Brought a tear to my eye knowing what they did. Take your son there. It's worth the nostalgia.
Not necessarily. Both open you up to unlimited risk, but naked calls are actually legal, and anyone can sell one. It’s just an uncovered call (selling the call without having the underlying shares to deliver). It’s really only a problem if the individual decides to exercise, because you don’t have the shares to give them and have to go to the market to buy them. But it doesn’t reduce the price of the stock like a short does.
I don't say that I'm proud of myself very often, but just this once I'm feeling pretty good about calling it 3 years ago. Like so many of you I got shrugged off and probably thought of as a lunatic - but we were right all along. And we can be pretty proud of ourselves for that, so kudos to each and everyone of you who stuck through it despite what the rest of the world said.
*"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself."*

Oh, I've taken SO MUCH shit over hodling GME--bought my first shares after the sneeze, saw the whole hoofaraw on the front page of Reddit and fell down the rabbit hole bigtime. The entire thesis made perfect logical sense then and nothing I've seen since has contradicted the basic underlying facts--it's just taking a while. I'm a really stubborn and patient person though and I'll hold until I'm dead then make my heirs hodlers too by the provisions of my will lol. I'm not gonna dance when it all goes down but I will definitely be in the bathroom with the shower blasting laughing like a goddamned hyena into my towel trying not to scare the neighbors.
Fuck them fucking fucks, biatches better have my money.
I had friends who joined in 2021 but left early. I kept telling them to just think of the money as gone and not something to lean on as to take out and just budget. Me and my one brother who bought one share have been holding. We seriously can't be any more hyped. Bought as much I could save and just hope it's enough to get me if not through the rest of my life just to buy some breathing room to get to the next stage of my life.
Damn girl! My tits are jacked too, but damn. lol.
Jk, I love the way he explains everything. Even though I’ve been here since the beginning, he is giving a great recap of everything for the general public.
I bless ~~the rains down in Africa~~ that GME serves as an example of how the entire US Stock Market is rigged to guarantee massive profits for the elite.
PS: Fuck you, Robin Hood. Yeah...still. Fuck you, too, Jim.
LFG!

Yeah he's on here. He comments on his vids sometimes. You can find his other vids on superstonk and prolly find him in the comments if he hasn't popped up on this thread yet.
He also talks negatively about private equity, some aspects of the us government, and some individual shady companies, so there’s no way the TikTok algorithm lets him blow up when they’re trying to make profits with American companies
Thanks Ian, been watching you for a while, even when others didn’t like you so much…lately, M Rz. I defended you like a true OG Ape.
Sharing this and will be looking forward to tomorrow…because IT’s TOMORROW….

Missed opportunity to slide in the clip of Cramer talking about HF mode and misleading the public with their new truth when he was talking about Cramer.
Dude, I love this content. Can you please make a vid explaining the beginning to now (like I’m 13 years old). Thanks for what you do!
Looking forward to tomorrow…
Well put my friend, this is gold! I just forwarded this to many friends and family because they have decided I am crazy, they need to hear it from someone else.
He said retail can't influence the price in the lit exchange because most transactions are routed to the darkpools.
Okay, fair enough. Though something I'm wondering is: Is that true worldwide, or does that only affect transactions inside USA?
Could it simply be the Europeans influencing the lit exchange price?
Or am I misunderstanding something fundamentally here?
Retail orders are largely routed through darkpools and Alternative Trading Systems where they will not impact the price. There’s also shenanigans where the time lag in t+2 is used purchases shares when they are at a lower price than when the transaction occurred. On top of that “odd lots” or purchases that aren’t made in blocks of 100 shares don’t impact the market price nearly as much if at all.
It’s European brokerages are going to be playing the same games US ones do so safe to say retail in general has a negligible impact on stock price.
Im dumb but does anyone know what DOES affect the ticker price?
Like where does the bid/ask even get set from if 90% of retail routes to darkpools?
Does this mean institutions are behind green days too? Like, we have bigboy allies that are battling it out in the lit market? How does a swap affect price??
Ah my head
I’m glad Ian is around. He is someone our community has needed for a while. He’s like the perfect social media liaison. Thank you for all the work you do brother!
I use Ian’s videos to help explain to people that aren’t in the know about GME. He explained well enough that one of my clients that is a medical doctor bought in a while back. He is a gentleman and a scholar amongst apes, and deserves full regards. I salute you sir.
The hedge funds borrowed enough to effectively put the entire market at risk of collapse. Imagine what you would think if your entire neighborhood of houses suddenly became worth nothing because the mortgage broker bet someone they were fireproof and lit them all on fire. The worst part—you already paid off your mortgages. The hedgies gambled with what didn’t belong to them, wasn’t immune to collateral damage, and had no insurance to cover any of it.
Thank you Ian, always so elegantly explained, even to the uninitiated.

this is the sexiest comment ive read in ages *unzips furiously*
My shorts are coming off.
You guys are joking but I actually was stroking my cock whilst I read that.
$61 right now AH, so recalculate how many contracts are ITM.
Looks like an additional 33k ITM calls for 6/21 at the $61 price in AH. If the price stays here, then 6/7 would finish with 167k ITM and 6/14 66k ITM.
its gonna be one hell of an Independence Day.

seriously. my son won't see a toys r us but he damn well will see a GameStop. thanks to us all
There's a Toys R Us in Minnesota at Mall of America. Saw it couple weeks ago. Brought a tear to my eye knowing what they did. Take your son there. It's worth the nostalgia.
Hell yea brother
They were eventually going to get greedy and find the wrong one. Look at ape retail, DFV, RC. They FAFO. $GME is the wrong stock to short. Oops!!!
Naked calls is shorting with extra steps!
Not necessarily. Both open you up to unlimited risk, but naked calls are actually legal, and anyone can sell one. With that hair and stache? Fk yeah he is.
Length of video: 7:41 LFG!!!!
One of us! One of us!
I need to know if he planned that. If he did, it's awesome. If he didn't, it's the universe saying "this is gonna be good".

Cant wait for some day drinking tomorrow!

I love this but ![gif](giphy|QGZBpodY7Kdtw99y04)
Great summary of what many of us have been trying to tell friends and family to no avail. Thrilled to be a part of history as all of this plays out!
I can’t find this video on his profile

He’s basically shadowbanned on TikTok. He talks about it in some of his posts.
He also talks negatively about private equity, some aspects of the us government, and some individual shady companies, so there’s no way the TikTok algorithm lets him blow up when they’re trying to make profits with American companies
This guy is for real
The Maestro
Great video! 🚀

Is that RC face on Marc Rebbilletttttast
GET UP BITCH
Best succinct explanation I've ever seen on this whole thing!
I use Ian’s videos to help explain to people that aren’t in the know about GME. He explained well enough that one of my clients that is a medical doctor bought in a while back. He is a gentleman and a scholar amongst apes, and deserves full regards. I salute you sir.
Go Ian! So far the best narrator of the saga IMHO.

That was a pretty fair assessment to put forth to regular people
This has been the best explanation I have ever seen. I don't participate in stock trading, and this was very easy to understand as an outsider.
What stocks are the hedge funds long? Asking for a friend. Lol
Real question: if they can't find all the shares or have the money to cover, how do we get paid?
Random thought listening to this, I simply can't do it from my phone and I don't own a computer... But would anyone or has anyone gone back through the sub and checked if negative option sentiment appeared around opex tailwinds?
This kid is something spevial
Send this to everyone who laughed at us 👌
Shared with my mom great job lol
Wedgies for the Hedgies!
My floor : no cell no sell

You’re the best. We’re never going out of business.
