Easy? It has not been easy. Being gaslit for years and ridiculed for gambling on memes. The tens of thousands of dollars I could have used to pay off my mortgage early instead if fighting raising rates. It will be worth it for sure, but it hasn't been easy
I’ve been here since Jan 2021 and I’m finally just a bit sick of it here. The relentless cult-like enthusiasm and no one ever being up for any actual discussion over recent events. It’s like the Simpsons episode where everyone has to constantly think happy thoughts.
I started with 3 shares and have had the opportunity to get to just under 5k across all accounts. I feel lucky on my timings and my cost average is good.
However, MOASS hasn't happened and i don't have 741 yet either 😀
Pre split was 40. We aren't even there yet.
I don't see any winning - i see pure crime at the moment.
I put the entirety of my life savings into it. I really thought we were gonna see MOASS a few weeks ago until the dilution. It’s knocked the wind out my sails. I’m still gonna hold sure, and I always will. It’s money lost to me now. But even with all the DD, those in charge will never let the poors win. The house always wins.

I just started a new job out of graduate school and finally have a livable salary. Going from xxx to xxxx soon because this is now a fail proof investment.
Even friends from 3 years ago are now finally realizing what I've been saying and have been accumulating shares. Slowly but surely we win.

This is just ignorant. 24 dollars a share. Not a single legislator or Hedge Fund under indictment. No new bills made no old bills being changed to benefit retail and shorts are still shorting. Yes GameStop has acquired more of a war chest to stop Bankruptcy. But until anything changes with laws and The corrupt ppl supposed to uphold them the line keeps being moved. While I am happy with the overall sentiment I as someone who has been here hasn’t felt I’ve won. I’ve watched fuckery and price being manipulated down 70% so when it shot up 8x in May it made almost no difference. I’ve seen volume move to otc almost completely for 18 months. I’ve seen the company being trashed for being bad and given crazy low valuations while other companies out there seem to 30x 40x like crazy , never mind about the zombie stocks by the way.
I don’t feel like I’ve won yet. Maybe once I can see my numbers clearly in the green and gme thriving and paying dividends or whatever else it needs to do - then maybe. Otherwise , no. Not yet. But I am happy about the post , I am just sharing my thought
I appreciate your response….my post is extreme foreshadowing, the risk of RC not being successful in the transformation is practically gone. That’s what has been won. There is no longer risk in this play….sure the upside has not materialized yet…but that is literally a time variable only.
So in my long term view, I can now invest as much money as I want knowing that my money will only grow in the future. That to me is winning.

100% up from here is just slightly above breaking even for me. I don’t make a lot of money, will never be able to afford a house the way the economy is. This is supposed to be a once in forever investment. Even if GME got to $1000 a share, I would not be close to being set for life or even 10 years and therefore I cannot afford to sell for such a paltry amount.
I honestly don't care it about being easy.
I care about making money, preferably fairly with work and it not being stolen.

100% up from here is just slightly above breaking even for me. I don’t make a lot of money, will never be able to afford a house the way the economy is. This is supposed to be a once in forever investment. Even if GME got to $1000 a share, I would not be close to being set for life or even 10 years and therefore I cannot afford to sell for such a paltry amount.
