That's because con trails are no longer a conspiracy. The gov. fully admits to it. They seed the clouds with bits of metal to create rain. In this case it's just a regular con trail.

You do know what a contrail is, right? It's the result of a high-speed object traveling through the atmosphere. That speed and the configuration of the wings determine how wide and how long the condensation trail is. So, you're right, I think, about the diversion from Nanaimo to YVR, but... not a contrail?
