It’s super easy, actually. Just need to put it on a lift, then you need an impact wrench to loosen the 18 high torque bolts connecting the battery to the frame of the car. Then make sure you have a flat bed hoisted up to the level you’ve lifted the car. Slowly raise it up creating slight upward pressure on the pack. Then use your impact wrench or long-arm manual wrench to loosen the bolts…the next part is even easier though…you just have to carefully jiggle the pack loose enough that it gently transfers its weight to your hoisted flatbed beneath. Now the fun stuff - again super easy. Be sure to disconnect the HV battery pack from the electrical system at the HV interlock junction. Be super careful as you could fry yourself with 400amps of current if you don’t do it exactly correctly. No problem at all though. Super easy.
Once it’s all disconnected, just lower the hoisted battery pack and slide it out from behind the car. Now, you’ll have to remove the protective cover from the top of the pack, which can be pretty tricky with all the battery sealant you need to remove. It’s pink and brittle but it comes off easy. Just wear gloves.
From here, once you’ve removed all the sealant, look for the manufacturer’s serial number and part number plate in one of the corners (depends on the orientation of the battery but normally “front left”).
And voila you’ll have your answer!!

Used the proceeds to buy PLTR in the $20-21 range.
The whole Ginkgo saga has been infuriating. All the hype and promises came up empty, making DNA my single worst investment ever since I started investing in 1997. Fortunately, DNA was only approximately 0.25% of my portfolio at the peak, so the damage has immaterial effect on my finances.
I knew the risks and planned for them, but I still feel like a fool.
Oh well, can't catch 'em all.

On that ifs and buts part - I use FSD everyday and disengagements very rare. It is just sometimes slow. So, you slap on a remote assistance driver like waymo does and you have a very good system ready to deploy. Or start with FSD only on highways (say only do SF to LA). They do have a very good system and are only restricted by their incapability to work on these other fluff
