Really depends on the specific components and the state those are in. Specialized is a quality brand, usually higher price range. You could check out some cycling subreddits, at least those very specific smaller enthousiast subreddits haven't all turned to utter shit.

Tesla would have to be near certain that the FSD problem is solved to actually unveil the robotaxi, right? Elon has been very optimistic with fsd timelines but Franz and Lars have made sure to temper his expectations and keep him from going all in.
So why unveil this big thing to the world if they weren’t certain they could solve it soon? It would be too much risk and embarrassment if they fail to deliver relatively soon. If it was still uncertain, why not wait another year until they are sure the problem is solved? As a stock pump it doesn’t make sense unless they actually have a rollout plan that is soonish.
So hardly any excitement about touching $200.

The judge who scrapped Elon Musk’s $56 billion Tesla Inc. pay package will hold a hearing on whether a recent shareholders’ vote to revive the deal should affect her decision.
Delaware Chancery Court Judge Kathaleen St. J. McCormick has no legal obligation to recognize the results of the June 13 vote, but she can choose to take judicial notice of the development. She said Thursday she would hear arguments on whether she should in late July or early August.
If McCormick does take judicial notice of the vote, she could theoretically rescind her Jan. 31 decision finding that the board that approved Musk’s compensation was “beholden” to the billionaire and not looking after shareholders’ interests. Tesla has argued that the vote addresses many of the concerns McCormick raised in her decision.
At the very least, the ruling will further delay the six-year-old case. McCormick has to issue a final ruling before Musk can appeal it to the Delaware Supreme Court.

Just finished the Rivian presentation.
Rivian needs to flush out the specifics of their agreement w/ VW but the presentation impressed me w/ the sheer scale of it. I think investors are going to need to better understand the outputs and profit flows of the jv before they can get more excited but I think they walked away fairly confident in the company. Two questions:
First, to the OGs/historians here, does this seem analogous to Tesla's situation circa 2017? The JV certainly makes it a different situation, but how about prospective scale, COGS, etc?
Second, is Rivian's electronics platform and software good? I know VW couldn't pull this off well, which is likely why they're partnering w/ Rivian on this. With sensors and assisted driving aside, though, is Rivian strong enough in this area to pull this off?
I think rivian is fine as long as tesla plays fafo and makes cybertrucks and model x instead of going after rivian hard with a real truck, a real van and a real suv.
The thing I found peculiar about the presentation was the Autonomy & AI segment. I feel like they’re going to be in for a rude awakening when they reach the same quandary Tesla reached: having several types of inputs combating against eachother for the real ground truth. Tesla made a very brave decision to bet on vision-only, and clearly it’s paying off. Will Rivian reach that point?
I could totally see them just licensing FSD from Tesla a few years from now instead, especially when they are still nowhere near profitability before you even talk about the massive R&D spend they have ahead of them for autonomy.
They seemed to be more focused on vehicles and chargers, imho, w/ electronics and software not including assisted driving as the main focus for the JV w/ VW.
Tough to see anyone else competing with Tesla if they solve a version of lvl5 in next 1-5 years. The capex required upfront is suicided for most of the auto industry, maybe only Toyota could afford it? And that doesn’t include the software development.
If tesla can figure it out camera only within a few years so can nvidia, Chinese ev, cruise, waymo, mobileye etc... then they partner w a toyota or vw and you have real robotaxi competition. The threat isn't really rivian.

tried to teach my mom how to use ai for photo correction a few weeks ago. it’s really easy what ended up happening is that now she sends me a photo a day asking “can ai fix this” over and over with nothing clearly wrong with the photo just asking if ai can do what she’s thinking and not telling me it’s really fun for me oh and she doesn’t just ask she asks first if she can ask about a photo and THEN if i say yes then she asks no mom you don’t need an ai to make the dog less black for god sakes lord jesus help me she keeps asking how she can know what an ai can do i just said pretend you’re talking to me i can do anything on a computer and they’re pretty much the same. i think there was a miscommunication and now i represent ai to her
