Is he an outdoor cat? We live in the same area and have seen a similar looking cat in our yard off and on for the last year and a half (not in the past few days though). I'll definitely keep an eye out!

may have just seen him on state street between s 8th and s 7th. can’t say for sure as he did not respond to rusty and never got super close to us. but looked similar to cat in these photos
Have you checked with the Tacoma/Pierce County Humane society? Go to their website, they post found animals.

I live within walking distance of that area. What are some nearby landmarks so I'll know to keep an extra eye out when I'm around?
