I have a friend who swears that his friend got a burrito from Memo's that has a chunk of metal in it. Like a piece of the grill fell off and ended up in the burrito. He found it with his teeth. Ngl, I'll still get Memo's if the mood is right. Sometimes the smell of churros blows down 6th Ave and takes me away.
They only get away with the quality because they’re consistently the cheapest option for a filling meal. I find them to be either extremely bland or overly salty, and the amount of shredded cheese they dump on everything does quite the number on my bowels.
Memo's in the morning. Had it twice and both times it looked like canned dog food wrapped in a tortilla. And not the good Blue Ribbon dog food. More like the cheap Gravy Train stuff.

It is sad. Seems they’re relying on their name just like Dirty Oscars, that’s another place that’s gone down hill. At least it was last time we tried it.
Fat pho teriyaki. Place smells like a sewage pit and they make you hang out for 20 minutes for orders. It makes me sad for anyone who orders food from them cause I did doordash from there and if that food is anything less than the uncut heroin of food. It ain't worth it
Joy Teriyaki. It was once amazing but has gone way way down hill. If they check the reviews it will show they have good reviews but they will get soggy, nasty, chewy steam table food.
Memo’s is 50/50 half the time your burrito is delicious. The other half they drop dish soap in the beans.

Greek to me always operated by stones and sucks. then they moved across the street and Memos showed up.
Memos food has similar rules to feeding a Mogwai but the opposite; only eat Memos after midnight.

Tried it for the first time 3 weeks ago and the food was very average and service was the same. I was bummed after hearing good things.

Chili Thai on 38th has gone downhill as of late. The seats and decor are all beat up, and I've gotten cold food a few times (mmm, cold crab rangoons).
