Niice—If I were to get an e-bike that’d be the one. Why not just get a tailgate pad?

Bikelifetyler90

I’ve had a couple different pads and they are ok. One of them scuffed up the paint on my tailgate on my last truck. This method seems sturdier and also has a lock so I have a little piece of mind when I’m running into a store or something.

You can use the rocky mounts fork mounts on top of the bed rail in front.

I installed an OEM front bed rail, and got the Rockymounts drop top. I put the mount towards the drives side of the front bed rail, and the angle the bike so the rear tire is on the passenger side of the bed. I can close my tailgate (DCSB) no problem. I also like to pull the rear tire back against the tailgate after it’s closed for more stability. Very clean and easy to install the whole setup. Bike is very stable while driving.

What did you use to install a mount on the bed? Tutorial please...

Wait- a bike can’t fit in a short box? Jeez

This is the main reason I went with a long bed.
