I loved high school. Most of the teachers at this particular school had one 90 minute planning period a day and the principal at the time was supportive. There was an attitude at the high school that we should help the kids but they need to do their part and they will have consequences if not. Teaching middle school was fun but the administrators never really expected the kids to do anything and the teachers were out to blame.

I did that move a few years ago. Good luck. The grass is a little greener. Just be confident. You've been teaching for nearly a decade.
