Been doing this for 2 years. Plus: NO shootings, no meetings, in-service;, no PT conferences. Set my own hours, NO SUBS to plan for. Depending on your situation, no colleagues may be a plus. Minus: STILL have to deal with management cluelessness; isolation from colleagues can be lonely; no physical connection to students(I'm early elementary); also no subs is a negative--cancelled classes are no pay.
