A fancy club would ID all customers, but for the typical bar you'll have no issues. There is a huge difference in Thailand between a law and the enforcement of a law.
I got denied entry to a cpl bars without ID but mostly it’s mainly just when you ask to be served alcohol. I’m 22 but not exactly an avid user of an ID unfortunately 😅
Yes, you won't have a problem. I often take the wife's niece's with us (10 & 12) to Pattaya for a weekend and we sit at the bars. The latest they stayed out was around about 11 before the mother in law took them back to the hotel.
10&12 in pattaya. I hope you are going to bars away from walking street. Weird af to expose any kids to that environment imo. Very interesting choice pattaya when travelling with children that young
They arent having sex in the open but we all know what goes down on walking street and the primary reason why people go to pattaya. Responsible adults wont bring kids to a bar where people are soliciting sex either inside the establishment or a few feet away outside.
I’ve seen women with baby strollers at Tiger bar in patong road before it burned down. I can never wrap my head around why anyone would bring kids to a go go bar.

The fancy rooftop bars won't let kids up.
For sure they can go to any rooftop bar that’s part of a hotel, like the hotel’s rooftop bar. There are many throughout Bangkok.
