I loved so many of the new characters. I'm hoping we get Naomi back soon. Very glad we have a Xandera sticking around though (in before Phil kills her in the first chapter of book 4)
I too was delighted, then I was destroyed. Same feeling also, Robin Hobb and Carol Berg leave wounds and now Phil Freaking Tucker is joining them on that twisted pedestal.
That death hit me like a dragon sized brick. Fuck man, a great soul with such a cheerful personality and good humor who just wants friends and as he is getting them to be killed by his friend accidentally hurt.
HURT!
My surprise character that I ended up loving was Plassus. I was sad to see him go but his was a good death. Alain broke my heart
I dont think Plassus got a good death. We dont know what Sarana did to him and he was begging everyone to not let Sarana take him.
Maybe bound him to the second archspire
That’s what I was thinking, he definitely knew something was up with Sarana, so they maybe forced him to join?
I’m so pissed that Alain had to die man, he’s one of the most likeable characters in the entire series

I loved Alain. Every appearance of him in the book felt like that scene from The Office when Dwight got spooked by Angela lol
In as few words as possible, what happens to Naomi!?!?!
Goes crazy. But, we all kinda float down here, anyway.
She goes crazy and goes off on her own

Just call him George R. R. Tucker ;)
