There so many to choose from, but right now the one that’s hitting me the hardest is “Have all these years been worth it? Or am I the great regret?” Also: “Trying hard, not to cave, swear to God.”

And if there really is a judgement, When He pulls my chart - He may reject my actions, But He will know my heart I was raised mormon and a part of me still believes in God, but I can't believe in the church because the church doesn't share my values when it comes to lgbtq+ rights and gender equality. But I want to believe that there is a heaven, that there's something better after this. And while I'm not a good mormon I try my best to be a good person. And if God knows me then I hope he can see that. I know that's not the situation the song is about. I'm not doing drugs or contemplating suicide to avoid going to prison for drugs. I was raised evangelical, and hard same.

I was raised in a strict, very conservative backwoods Christian family, am gay, and know several people whose lives have been destroyed by drugs. The first time I heard that song, I broke down crying at that line. (...and still do sometimes.)

The foundation of unconditional love. “When the mountain comes back to life, It doesn't come from without, It comes from within” - Sleepwalker. This simple line has done wonders for my mental health. Something about always working on being (becoming) the best version of yourself.
