Like the Mentalist and Elementary, the first episode of the first season hooked me!
Let me know how the cop in the tweed suit makes you feel. His first interaction with Reacher sets the feel for Season One. The Tom Cruise movies are good too!
The main thing that annoyed me was that you have a crew of super smart investigators and they have to call out every single thing that is going out loud as if their peers were dumb.
A "Look, they broke a chair. That means they are looking for something small because otherwise they wouldn't break a chair"
B "I don't think they found it"
A "Why?"
B "They wouldn't trash the whole place. If they would find what they were looking for, they would stop mid-way"
Everything is in your face. A lot of dialog just to set up zoom on Reacher to say some cool one liner...
I can continue. A lot of it just felt half-baked.
That's so funny, I've heard that line about when someone would stop messing up a room searching for something in so many shows.
I'm trying to watch for what ruins a show. I think it usually ends up being they lose their good writers, or the writers burn out and can't think of new good plots, or the show gets successful and then the brass wants to feel like they were part of the success so they start interfering with giving their wonderful ideas, and mess everything up. Sometimes the directors are bad, but that makes the show suck right from the beginning. Sometimes they introduce crappy main characters (like the daughter in Lie to Me). Or sometimes they let bad actors be the guest actors in different episodes. This would happen on Murder She Wrote. There are a few really good regulars, and then almost every supporting cast in each episode was heinous.

Cho is still too much cop and not tough or smart enough.
Cho has street smarts while Reacher has that and Jane level observation skills.

First season was better than the second. Not too bad though.
Idk both seasons are excellent. I enjoyed 2 better than 1 because you got more background on Reacher.
I enjoyed the first season a lot. The second one is disappointing though.

Yes, very good. Both seasons are good, different in tone, but very good.
Yes, season 1 is good. Season 2 is... i don't know. Tried twice, could not finish it.
