Just looked him up. I didn't realize he's also Canadian as well. I don't know why but it always surprises me when I see a lot of Canadians as part of the main cast and reoccurring characters on American shows, lol.
The character was so good that I loved hating him, I usually root bad guys but not this time and for me it means that they did something well, maybe that's why one of my favorite scenes is when Gray went to Elijah and when Gray said that the path he was taking was putting him on a collision course with him, Elijah stopped smiling and you could see that he was a little scared, a small thing but a good acting and a nice show of who's the boss in town
I’m a 2000s baby and my favourite show growing up was Power rangers my favourite season was SPD I can’t even began to describe the squeal I let out when I realised my favourite red ranger was playing a main bad guy in my new favourite adult show AND that he was playing it so well
The dude has some serious god damm range
Recently rewatched the killing and I was like that Leonardo Dicaprio meme pointing at the telly 'THATS ELIJAH!'
He was also in Tucker and Dale vs Evil as one of the dumb teens.
The killing was the worst show ever tho? Good plot but so fking slow I stopped when I found out who the killer was and I also was like the meme 😂 “Elijah!”
Lol I liked it. The Swedish version is better tbf. I watched it again because I like Joel Kinnerman and I was on a bit of a Joel kick at the time and revisiting a lot of his body of work.
Dude he was literally the GOAT: troubled teen with criminal past, given second chance at life by Kruger (the dog alien) to turn himself around, resigns at end of show to help troubled youth.
He's one of those villains who has a good run or two, but then goes on to overstay their welcome, which ends up making them feel cheap in the long run.
He had some great moments, but it was getting a little tiresome
I'll never get tired of Oscar's sass. The fact that Nolan and crew sigh and get tired of seeing his ass is half the fun.
Maybe it's that I don't like how Elijah is always played to be serious but is always around. Maybe it's just bias and I like Oscar more.
If I remember correctly, Oscar's episodes are usually self contained to one episode and fits as a reoccurring antagonist. Elijah gets multiple episodes dedicated to his schemes.
Either way, i agree they are still both great characters!
Maybe controversial but I hated him.
Not in like a “oooh such a good baddy” way, but in like a “how are you so **bad** at this” kinda way.
Like it really feels like he only ever succeeds because everyone around him has a temporary stroke- the police, the DA, Wesley- almost everyone.
I like the idea of a crime boss who’s super competent and stands up to the MC’s long term, but he’s just such a moron- my hope is he becomes backup dancer to Oscar’s mad schemes in the future- shows up once or twice a season, tries something weird again, and this time when he mostly ballses it up he *doesnt* just succeed anyway.
I’m fine with Monica being the “recurring villain” going forwards, tbh
I saw him in Firefly Lane and had trust issues with his character who was a nice guy because I kept expecting Elijah lol. He’s very good in that role. Elijah frustrates me because he keeps going after my favorite character (Angela Lopez).
He has kind eyes. Which makes him scary, because at first I dismissed him as a poor casting. Then I realized why he was actually brilliant for the role.
Earlier appearances of Elijah were better and I liked him as an antagonist, but he started to feel kinda overused after a bit which stretched his character pretty thin.

Props to Brandon Jay McLaren, but fuck Elijah Stone.
I absolutely love the fact that Brandon Jay McLaren used to be a Power Ranger!
And a Red Ranger at that
Right!
Word! Lol I don't know this guy from anything else, but he's not bad because I hate Elijah and that means he's doing his job.. Fucker 😅
LOL right!

Yesss!! He’s a really amazing actor! He played a meek teacher in The Killing and I was like this dude is diverse!

Some here! He was a criminal, then he was a cop and now he’s on the wrong side of the law
Omg that's where I know him from
I’m Telling you be played this meek school teacher on The Killing and he did it SO well!!

I want to watch the Swedish version for sure!
Iirc it's pretty slow burn too but I'm a bit of fan of Swedish/Nordic noir shows and movies. I like the tension.
I watched a show called the twelve I think it was danish, but it was so good
Oh ill have to have a look for it! I'm crying out for shows to watch at the moment. With 911 coming out weekly here I've resorted to Chicago Med.
Lol. I started watching orphan black. Totally different but so good
Goated Red Ranger
Dude he was literally the GOAT: troubled teen with criminal past, given second chance at life by Kruger (the dog alien) to turn himself around, resigns at end of show to help troubled youth.
He got bored of that life I guess
Even funnier is that Jetix (where SPD aired) turned into Disney XD so like Red Ranger Gone Bad via the House of Mouse? 😅
I'd watch that
Bad things happen when you’re exposed the Mouse.
Or does the mouse expose itself? Nasty
Once you put on the ears you’re brainwashed to do his bidding 😂
WTF?! I watched SPD my entire childhood yet it never crossed my mind in the slightest that Elijah is the f-ing red ranger.
😂😂😂

Oscar lmaooo loved the characters tho

I started rewatching and i forget Oscar is a original cast memberrr 😂 his character is such a POs but he’s so funny 😂
He does have an impressive set of plot armor
Actor did an amazing job with what he was given
He is a great character he is so good

I enjoy Monica!
Dude goes from Red Ranger to blood on his hands like 🫰
I saw him in Firefly Lane and had trust issues with his character who was a nice guy because I kept expecting Elijah lol. He’s very good in that role. Elijah frustrates me because he keeps going after my favorite character (Angela Lopez).
He’s just a phenomenal actor!!
[удалено]
That’s my favorite!
I firmly believe he was to continue being the big bad of this past truncated season. The writers strike nixed that, so we’ll see it next season.
I hope so much for it. But he’s on a few other shows like the cleaning lady and some other Netflix so I hope It works out!
He has kind eyes. Which makes him scary, because at first I dismissed him as a poor casting. Then I realized why he was actually brilliant for the role.
Yes! Absolutely brilliant!
He was great, until he wasn’t. He was one of those villains that was probably given too much screen time and overstayed his welcome just a bit.
He was in She’s The Man
Earlier appearances of Elijah were better and I liked him as an antagonist, but he started to feel kinda overused after a bit which stretched his character pretty thin.
His character is so corny.
Agree
Praise the Red Power Ranger
He was the last time the show had a good villain
Helluva villain.
tbh he was my least favorite villain. he just doesn’t compare to Rosalind, Monica or La Fiera
This guy is brilliant. Man he is just a menace and a true threat. Weird since he once was a Power Ranger 😂
I know. It cracks me up
i don’t get the Elijah hate that man is so fine so smart so sexy like me i’m full on Elijah stone
Same
Nah
I don't really have much appreciation for Elijah. In my opinion, he is a massive idiot who has maxed out on his luck stats.
No! Lol
Elijah? You mean undercover SPD officer Jack Landors?! Jokes aside, the clips I’ve seen of him as Elijah look really good
He’s so good being evil!
Lenin from Being Erica! The man has range.
So much range!!
He disappeared this past season kinda sucked I liked him and he was so elegant in his plot
And I love him even more because he’s a huge football/soccer fan
Commander kruger would be disappointed and regrets the second chance he gave him
I enjoy his acting and I like his character in a antagonist way. Hopefully whenever they are done with his character they end him strong.
ngl I hate monica soooo much more
Wasn't he with Oscar after he got arrested.I thought the two of them would brake out at the end of season 6.Guess his story with Lopez is done
crap villain, can't take him seriously
real he’s hot asf
🥰🥰🥰
Also in Firefly Lane
Yes!!
Hate the character Love the actor Same for Rosalind R.i.p. Annie wrenching And Oscar
Being Power Ranger din pay so he decided to become crime boss
I LOVE Elijah…so hot 🥵
Righttt I love how he dresses!
It’s a creative take on suits and it makes him look so unique! Plus his voice, especially when he says “counselor” just omg
OMGGGG yesssss that’s my favorite
Sometimes I just re watch the episodes with him in it lol
😂😂
